The crystal is probably made of celluloid as back in those days celluloid was of the only plastics available. Clear celluloid does have a tendency to yellow with age. It is also possible that originally it had a glass crystal and may have been replaced with a celluloid crystal later on. Regardless it's a nice watch. I wouldn't mind having it at all
@@knightingalesaid Wow... I am the same way. I have a few old pocket watches with celluloid crystals that are tinted yellow with age. I could replace them but I also like them that way.

Thanks for the information. I like the color of the crystal. A jeweler wanted to replace it. I said, no.
