He knew they were legal fees, as told by his employee. 35K does not add up to 130K. He was defrauded by Cohen. It happens all the time. That is why we have accountants and auditors. May be you need to go back to accounting 101.

He would of course need to declare it as it is an election expense, but he can’t do that now can he as it would expose the very thing he was trying to hide? So between them all they came up with a plan to pretend it was a legal expense and had it paid in 12 installments starting the month after the inauguration, to further hide it for what it was. All of that was revealed, including Weisselberg hand written notes how the $420k was determined and then turned into 12 payments. It’s stuff a 10 year old could follow? You seem to be struggling with this
