When Conan mentions how Comedy and Horror have major similarities I always like to say that comedy and horror thrive when the creative is looking at the situation the main character is in and asks "Now how can I make this situation even worse for them?"
Exactly. I look at horror as, what happens when comedy goes on too long and is taken to it's logical conclusions, and then after one becomes accustomed to these conclusions it becomes comedy again. There is this cycle of the two.

I think I’ve watched that sketch 100 times and I STILL laugh every time 😂🤣.
my all time fave key & peele would be the loco gangster 😂
One of the few film makers I will get up off my butt and go to the theater to watch his movies. Get out, Us, and Nope were all fire. Keep them coming please!
SNL? SNL can’t compare. SNL try to make you laugh and sometimes succeed, while this guy just makes you laugh consistently.
SNL problem will always be the host, having to work around a new person that has to be the star is very limiting.
I love Jordan! Super cool guy, and such a legend at only 44😎
I miss Key & Peele. The football lineup sketches were the best. They were friggin hilarious and would always just get so ridiculous and over the top. I also like when Jordan played a basketball referee on The Kroll Show which is another show I miss. You should have Nick Kroll on next.
Kroll has been on already.
The current NFL (and college) football lineup has now exceeded the Key & Peele skit. They thought they were taking it to an extreme level, but they were just identifying a point in time to be exceeded by actual names. The names today are way, way beyond that skit. Having said that, “A-Aron Rod-gers” is hard to beat…
So many great ones, but my FAVORITE is the “Save A Child” sketch hahah brilliant
Only $5!
I know every word of every sketch it’s impossible to choose Its like my children
Conan literally has THE best belly laugh in history.
conan's laugh is the best it sounds like it's edited in
Good god! Forget kim, Sona is Fire
Key & Peele is comedy where it is impossible for me to pick a favorite bit. Their work is stellar.
Peele is actually a serious guy
Makes sense why his films are more in horror. Since Jordan Peele is the more serious of the two.
True Key and Peele was on in my house 24/7. I formed whole friendships on imitating the sketches lol
The amount of restraint Matt had to not jump in as soon as they started talking about cinema is commendable
He sounds so different in real life compared to the sketches
That groundedness of American horror movies and comedy is what draws me in, otherwise I’m out right away. I tried the Japanese psychological thrillers but they are in very clearly messed up situations from the first second
Years ago I used to be a big Dave Chappelle fan and used to hate Key and Peele... today its the reverse.
I don’t use the term often but I think Jordan Peele is a genius
wow only 5 million. that movie made BANK. geez, hes an amazing director and writer
