Who is Dale Brisby!? Dale Brisby is a legendary bull riding gypsy soul that is always on to the next one! He crawls outta bed the same way he crawls into the bucking chute, ready to keep it 90! He loves spurring big brahmer necks for big money checks. you can find him at the pay window, behind the bucking chutes, in the chute, or even busting broncs and tearing down honky tonks! He's been 90 in Maine, Spain, Spokane, and Ala-bame! Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy his shenanigans on the road, at a rodeo, or at home at Radiator Ranch! We all know that one guy who's always playin. You find yourself wondering every time he opens his mouth if its a serious story or another joke. You think to yourself, "You play too much! But it is funny. And you're good looking. And I want to name my kid after you. And you're a legend. And I want you to kiss my wife on the mouth!" Well that guy is me! Sometimes when I open my mouth, I don't even know if what I'm about to say is credible, so I can't imagine how you feel! However, if it isn't true, it otta be! Thanks again for joining!
As a farrier I’m so happy to hear these legends appreciation for the trade, a real horseman knows a good farrier can make or break a program.
A good farrier is absolutely essential to having success with horses.
The last ten minutes of this video has taught me more than my entire two decades of life
@15:21
"Dale, where actually do you live?"
* WINNEBAGO*
LMFAO!!!
There’s more work ethic at the table than most millennials can imagine. Great stories!
Damn straight watched this after finding DB on UA-cam a little over a month ago letting life work me and now I'm working life as a Equine and Autism Behavioral Therapist at 34 with just a practicioner if many and a master of none, moving forward as an artist now.
4 guys outta 400 thousand that made a living being ranchers
The amount of horsemanship knowledge in this room. I soaked up everything I could from Cameron and Cox watching RFDTV. I turned out some damn good colts with their methods.
I’ve obviously never worked as hard as these fellers lol but clearing trails in the wilderness for the wy Forrest service was pretty hard work. Packed in on horseback with two man saws and pick axes. One of my best memories
I could listen to Craig's stories all day long.
Well done DB...You've outdone yourself w/ this one. I haven't laughed this hard in quite some time. I will definitely be watching this episode several times. These 3 gentlemen are pillars in their industry. You're not to bad yourself Dale. Many, many thanks.
I was hanging on every word these great teachers were willing to share with us all. Thank you
I'm loving the setup for this podcast Dale🤙
There's a whole lot of craziness in the world right now but I am really appreciating the laughs from Dale's videos. This guy is fantastic.
I could listen to thier stories all day. So much experience. Legends. #RIPCoke
Im dying at Chris's face when Craig raised to 150 🤣🤣🤣.. oh btw, sorry to hear about your hat Dale, glad everything is ok.
I have just started watching Mr.Brisby last week. But, this is one of the best videos I have watched yet. I am 47 and I remember the older fellas back when I was 18-30 and would love to interact with them and hear the stories on all ends of life. These Gentlemen are not quite that old but this is awesome just to sit and listen to. I don’t have any of these “old timers” in my life right now but I would love to and have talks with them. Please have more of these talks, seriously, we need them. Thank y’all, have a blessed rest of the year to all y’all.
Honestly I don't call myself cowboy,I wouldn't be worthy to buckle these guy's spurs. I'm just a hillbilly farmboy from the Appalachians. But when he said kids these days don't have chores, that struck a chord with me. I don't know much about ranch'n but I do know about mountain farming. One thing I would tell someone wanting to get into livestock and such,is that they come first. No matter how tired you are, how frustrating a day you've had they come first. I had a 2 hour bus ride to school so we had to be on the bus at 6 to be at school at 8. But BEFORE I got on that bus the chickens, dogs, horses,cows and hogs had to be fed and watered. Just my sister and me because Dad would already be gone to work for the coal company. That meant in the winter I had to go down in the holler to chop ice out of the tank with an axe,so the cows and horses had water. While I did that Sis would be throwing hay down from the barn. Hay that over the summer we would help our neighbors bale and put up for a share. Learned to drive in a hayfield following a baler. I can still here the "ka chunk a chunk" of that New Holland baler. Then I got old enough to load hay,then strong enough to throw it from the truck into the barn. While I had friends that went to the beach over the summer I was slinging square bales and hoe'n corn,for those cows and horses. We raised our own feed corn and shucked and shelled corn by hand,for the cows. Sometimes I hated them damn cows,hated shoveling their crap out of stalls,hated doctor'n them because they wouldn't cooperate and made it hard. Hated hoe'n corn in the hot sun to feed those damn cows. Those damn stupid cows, they fed me and put clothes on my back. But they came first,the animals always comes first. I work doing carpentry nowadays, and you know I miss those 'ol stupid cows, they'll always be first.
Yea it kinda bothers me when people say that.. they say it like us young bucks dont work lol. I look up to these elderly cowboys though and one day ill be just like them
Best episode ever!

When I was still in school the Ag teacher that ran the high school rodeo program told me he thought I was too tall to rodeo that I should keep playing baseball and drop rodeo. A couple years later while watching a buckout he told me he was telling me a little white lie. He said, "Boy, I had to get you to quit because as much as you bounced off the ground, you weren't very good at it and you was gonna get hurt!" Yep, nailed it! 💥💥👋👋🤙🤙🐮🤠👢🐴🐴🤣🤣🤣🤣✝️✝️✝️❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My grandson (is an old soul) Kyle is on the USS Portland- as I type he is in the middle of the ocean some were. Kyle's dream is to raise bulls for the rodeos. He has two years and his 5-year tour will be done. Dale Brisby *** hire a Vet. ****
