Who is Dale Brisby!? Dale Brisby is a legendary bull riding gypsy soul that is always on to the next one! He crawls outta bed the same way he crawls into the bucking chute, ready to keep it 90! He loves spurring big brahmer necks for big money checks. you can find him at the pay window, behind the bucking chutes, in the chute, or even busting broncs and tearing down honky tonks! He's been 90 in Maine, Spain, Spokane, and Ala-bame! Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy his shenanigans on the road, at a rodeo, or at home at Radiator Ranch! We all know that one guy who's always playin. You find yourself wondering every time he opens his mouth if its a serious story or another joke. You think to yourself, "You play too much! But it is funny. And you're good looking. And I want to name my kid after you. And you're a legend. And I want you to kiss my wife on the mouth!" Well that guy is me! Sometimes when I open my mouth, I don't even know if what I'm about to say is credible, so I can't imagine how you feel! However, if it isn't true, it otta be! Thanks again for joining!

@@watchjaredwork1487Agreeded. Once you stop moving at this age thats it man. My grandmother is around his age at the time of the video. She is a retired nurse and she still stays as active as she can. Lately its been rough on her but she will never give up. 91 years young and shes as sharp as she was when she went into nursing school.

I totally agree. Coming from a Mexican-American home and seeing the way some of the other guys would talk over this man was a lil uncomfortable for me. In my home/culture, we do not disrupt our elders. We give them our u divided attention and we cease speaking when they begin speaking.

Thank you so much for this video. Boots reminds me of my ol' man, Old Man Sinclair's Son Tom, that's how he introduced himself his whole life, until he passed in 2010. He also called himself a millionaire out of the Dustbowl, as he was born in the biggining of it. He was born in Lindsay Oklahoma in 1932, about the same year Boots was born. He moved back there a few years before ge passed. I have sat with a few old timers like this and talked for hours over the years. I really enjoy their stories. I miss my dad's too.
Thanks again for the great content.
    Peace

Great episode! I didn’t think I could spare the time to listen to the whole thing, but since it’s raining I did, and am sure glad I did! I sure enjoyed listening to Boots tell those tales of cowboying back in the “old” days. I worked on a ranch that still ran a wagon in Wyoming back in the early to mid 1970s and sure could relate. I met Boots and ate dinner with him and my daughter and others a few times while visiting at the Sixes when our daughter, who is an equine veterinarian now, worked for Dr. Blodgett on the Horse Division there. Boots is sure a nice gentleman, a great hand, and sure has a lot of West Texas ranching history to share.

Very good points and advice on the topic of how city boys can learn to be a working cowpoke. I get a lot of those questions from city teenagers mostly and I steer them to any FFA, clinics, and junior ranch rodeo clubs they can find in their state or even any people near their community that run a few heads of cattle just to get their foot in the door and start learning some cattle and horse sense.
