I love how excited the young man was at becoming engaged. The world has turned this on its head. The young ladies are the ones who now cry and are so excited they have been proposed to.
Any man who does not réalisé he should be excited at finding a woman to marry him does not know the word of the Lord.

Tears are rolling down my cheeks as I type this. When I finished high school, I had plans for my life but I did not have Jesus. I eventually surrendered my life to him and even as a child of God, things did not go as planned. Even as I speak on the missionary journey, I have cried so much about God's decision to have me do ministry full time when all I wanted was to thrive in a medical career and serve God with a church part time. Over the past months, I have felt better about it and I had to come to terms with an important message I got from this movie, whatever I think I went through, was simply God preparing for what is to come. I can only continue to pray for God to strengthen me as I wait on Him for everything that concerns me. Seeing how God also started specifically setting up everything in place for John when Tolu agreed to marry him, reminded me that God truly cares and would not send you into a place where His grace wouldn't have made provisions for you. So edifying. In the natural you can tell when you have had a good meal. The Spirit man knows when it is edified.
