I watched this 3 years ago, I cried when I realized the danger of self in marriage. I watched it again today as I am now preparing to get married. I pray the Lord help me love my in laws.
I lost my biological mother when I was young, it's a big relief to know that the covenant of marriage has redeemed this situation and given me a mother through my husband. May the Lord help me to honour and love her.

God bless you. Instead of wishing my mother in law dead, as soon as i started trusting God for a spouse, i also started praying for the best mother in law. God answered me. My mom in law is the best. Unbelieving but religious MILs are a torn in the flesh of the DILs. No matter how much love you show, they must be a continuous prayer point. They're hardened even when God obviously fights for you. My children must marry children whose parents are truly born again.

Great movie! I always believe nobody is bad for marriage. Once you are sure a man or a lady is God's will for you, go for the person. It is your responsibility to bring the best out of the person through love, patience, understanding, and prayers. Sometimes, the reason God is bringing a lady or a guy with a bad character your way is because he wants to transform her or him through your lifestyle. What a movie!! Short, precise and loaded with great lessons. I actually went emotional and cried at some point. In the end, it's obvious that no relationship can survive without Christ taking over the hearts of the parties involved. Thank you Mummy Gloria for making it clear that even a mother in law can submit herself to Christ and overcome flesh in order to win the heart of her daughter in law unlike the default setting borne out of cultures and tradition especially in Yoruba land where a daughter in law is expected to pay the price to sustain her relationship with her in laws. Overall, the most important thing is to submit yourself to God in obedience and pray that you marry into a family where the teachings of the bible are valued. Love never fails!!! Really blessed. I prayed earnestly to have a mother-in-law for I was ready to treat her as my mum. God answered me and today we both love ourselves dearly, I love my mum and above all my husband loves me dearly.

This is a wonderful father-in-law! It is good to marry from the LORD’s vineyard. He was really instrumental in making them all see the light of Christ. Also I like that the mother in-law despite her hurt first and openly rebuked their son when they went visiting and heard him shouting while she too was crying, I also love how the father in-law counseled the daughter in-law making her realize that her mother in-law is her mum by covenant plus the blessings attached what a rhema!. Sad some in-laws listens to their own child’s complaints and never bother to call the other part and ask for his/her side of the story talkless of stepping in to make peace. Hence the other partner starts feeling ganged up against. It is well. There’s need for godly wisdom from even in-laws in handling their children marital matters.
