So many people who say they don't like SRK are just jealous. Basically that's all it is. I am an old lady, 81 on July 19. When I was younger I didn't like any of the pretty younger girls. I sat down and talked to myself, I was never a particularly cute girl, but I was reasonable. I realized I was jealous. I changed my outlook. It's jealousy, that's all it is.

That's not correct. There were many actors known for their witty and noticeable answers before the 90s.

This interview was taken post the release and awards winning streak of DIL TO PAGAL HAI in 97-98.
It took me years to convert myself from Salman Fan to Shahrukh Fan. although some of his movies I really don't like. But I looking at this interview, I can gauge why he became King of Bollywood..
