What was the coating you used on the mower and where’d you get it?? Good video mower cleaned up good.seriously considering this mower based on the 54 inch structure and the Kohler 25
Jamaul Broomfield I think it depends on how low you cut your grass. This yard was thick and tall in places. I could have gotten away without going over it twice; I just don't like to leave any noticeable grass clippings behind if I can help it, just a personal preference. If I do go over a lawn the second time I raise the deck an inch or so, that way I'm not really cutting the clippings as much as I am using the blades to blow the clippings around so they are not as noticeable. Hope this helps you in making a decision. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the reply, and I don't really cut short here in Florida, but the grass grows insanely fast in one week. The mower I have now, I HAVE to go over it a second time with the deck up to spread the clippings and it works really well. It just wastes alot of time in my opinion and quite a few guys have told me that with a commercial mower most times you won't have to do a second pass and save time. I was really just seeing how bad boy mowers cutting deck do in that department and it looks like your mower really does a fine job.
Nice job and nice mower. So you've had it for a couple of months now....... would you choose the same mower? It looks like it drives and rides well. Any concerns with it on uneven or hilly lawns?
Michael Martin Thanks for the compliment! The MZ Magnum is a great mower for a moderately level yard. I have noticed that it doesn't like going down hills. Going up small hills however isn't a problem. For what the mower cost and the type of yards I mow, I would most definitely buy it again. I would have preferred the ZT Elite, which has a "60 deck and bigger tires and a better seat, but it was $1500 more. So for the money and compared to other zero turn mowers in its class, I have to say, the MZ Magnum is a great mower!
I love mine. I JUST cant get over how loud it is when blades are engaged.... SO LOUD
ALL ZT mowers are L O U D !!! Wear UR ep's !!
Just got a Magnum MZ. Mowed three acres in half tye time I did with my 2003 L100 JD.
I got me a Bad Boy zero turn last year. It's a 2019 model. I love it
Just bought one the other day and I love it, one of the best quaily mowers you can get
What was the final price, they are like 3400 around here
The best that I can remembers ,we paid around $3200.00 for our 42 inch mower. Yes it's a Bad Boy too
