How can we make Access4All a reality? What are practical examples of improving accessibility?
Brad will talk about his experience and help us understand how we can better understand accessibility in the built environment with easy and simple measures we can implement, such as:
• Visual separation in corridors and elevator lobbies
• Building a welcoming reception desk for everyone
• Entrance ways, ensuring no hindrance to entry
• Signage considerations
• Emergency exits and supporting those that need to exit during an emergency event
As we make decisions on building operations, accessibility and inclusion should be top of mind.
