Gotta be Zlatopolsky, 3:30 you will hear the best, loudest C2 ever.
when the world needed him most, TM returned
For me, 1:10 will always be the best sounding C2 imo. He's truly one of the most gifted bass singers ever.
Indeed
I can't tell which C2 I like more between Avi's in Hey Ya and Ring of Fire. That sound is just so good.
Gotta be Glenn or Pasjukov I reckon… but Avi’s voice is magical. Jeff Chapman’s power is nuts too
Glenn Miller has an absolute cannon of a voice😦
There's no matching the oktavists
Ames, Moll and Ravenscroft are all showcasing great vibrato on their C2s! Tim Riley also has one like that on the collab they did with The Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet, "The Dream".
YOU’RE BACK
glad to see you back man! cant wait for more videos!
My favorite note
that c2 from zat you santa claus by geoff is so underrated
He is using glottal compression to really project that C2. For the record, glottal compression is how basso profundos get their volume down low. No, Geoff isn't quite a basso... he's sort of in between a true bass and a basso; having the lower access like a basso, just not quite the acoustic volume.
So how do I use this glottal compression? If it makes the low notes sound so good why is not everyone using it?
@@BangYongguk-sf8ly, the first step to getting low notes sounding good? That's easy: be born a bass. Using glottal compression to bolster low notes requires having the low notes in your chest register to begin with.
@@BangYongguk-sf8ly, and, a lot of basses do use glottal compression... it's a mainstay of bass singing or anyone else (other than basses) wanting to get more volume near the bottom of their chest range.
@@johndeeregreen4592so how can i use it? is it for a choir setting or recording setting. i sing bass in choir and can sing a strong b1 sometimes lower so id say im qualified
Oh how I long for the days of one day having this kind of pure power. I’m 17 and can sing down to a F1 in chest and it actually has a rich sound. Though those notes won’t truly be mine until 40’s. Amazing video!
F1 is impressive, only gonna get deeper with age
Good thing is you are already able to get those notes, now it’s just a matter of time for the consistency and even more power to come in. I totally see you becoming one of the big profundos of the next generation
@@FernyBass I hope so! I almost wish I could fast forward to my future grey beard days in a choir blasting out low notes like nothing lol
I'm 16 and I can reach B0 in chest, but it doesn't sound with power. Xd
@@Nyux_4 Proof or you’re capping
Ok Glenn millers c2 is huge
Too much vocal fry.
Tim Foust always the king
fun to think that a c2 is reaching the upper limits of mikhail zlatopolsky's instead of the lower parts
Yeah, we’ll completely ignore his F4👁️👄👁️
@@FernyBass talking voice
Any of the Russian/ Eastern Europeans for me. Like the Welsh timbre, there is something very special about men's voices from that part of the world.
Glenn, Pasyoukov and Zlatopolsky..all Leo ♌️
1:26 honestly the best one here
Yo, haven’t seen you in a while man!
yea been a moment haha
