I love it too, a big improvement. However I sometimes had a hard time seeing what the left stick was doing. If there was a color change like when the buttons were pressed I think it would be even more helpful
For what its worth: I agree. Love the input display, but the black left stick is difficult to see against the black background. I think @simpleflips display would be a good alternative
I’ve been waiting for this. I ran a blazing pace after watching this only to hit a freakin shy guy on my third lap. If it’s not something with the pond, then it’s the shortcut or that damn jump 🤣
Alright, man, I gave you the "like" and here is my comment. I'm from the upper Mid-West and I LOVE winter! This is by far, my favorite winter-themed track in the game. It's also the only one that has a major holiday vibe to it. I pretty much always pick it when offered. I'm very surprised to hear it's under-rated. It's in my top 10 for sure. Watching your videos, I sometimes make bigger adjustments, sometime a small one, but they always help me improve my times. Great video, thanks for making the sacrifice! I'm just surprised you didn't name Dragon Driftway as another video that hurts your hands since it's also non-stop drifting.
Dragon Driftway has a lot less chaining back and forth (when using the waluigi build). My my count sherbet land has 13 different drifts that you need to do on each lap, whereas dragon Driftway only has 8. And it’s also how the drifts are setup since dragon Driftway has a super long straightaway at the very beginning of the track and on the little downhill portion
one of my favourite courses 😩😩💕💞💕 tysm bayesic!!! :D keep it up as with everyone else, visual guides are heavy appreciated :3 !! although youve always explained everything really nicely and easy to understand, it is a nice addition.
@@Bayesic yaaay thats so good im really glad it saves you time because i can already tell you put so much time and love into your videos, it is hella evident how much you care !! 🥰🥰

0:40 me: waiting to see the stats Him: doesn't show them Me: I wanted to see the handling and other stats not just the stats that have good amounts Did you mention the gilder shortcut?
Just got Mk8 Deluxe and do the characters you choose matter? Are there any ligher and heavyer characters? Also, how do you counter red shells? Thanks a lot!
Long story short everything matters haha. I've got a best builds video that has more detail on that kinda stuff. Also since you mentioned you just got the game, I've got an intro guide video that I'd recommend checking out. Hope that helps!
I’m not lol it’s a long story but basically the inputs aren’t being captured in real time and I can’t find a switch overlay so it just defaults to xbox
Man i was doing this track completely wrong 😅. Like sometimes i watch and i notice usually your lines are cleaner or you use a shroom at a diffrent point than why i typically do, but with this it was completely diffrent on the last section 😂
Short answer is, with the DLC coming I’m not really sure when I’m going to get around to a lot of the remaining classic 48 tracks I’ll have more updates within the next week or two, but the basic problem is I’m not decided yet on whether I want to try and put full on tutorials together for the DLC tracks when they drop
Really looking forward to your thoughts on yoshi circuit. Been trying to optimize my times on that course since I started the game but I just can't get some of the WR strats down.
Yooo! I came back about two months after I stopped playing as much Mario Kart, and I just realised you're already on 10k! Congrats on the massive milestone!
hi, I recently started playing mk8dx and I found your channel very useful, thank you for the content! Here is my suggestion: These are the most recommended strats to use on time trials, but I was wondering which strats could I use for every course online. You may consider making a serie about this, I'm sure that a lot of people would find it useful as well
The thing is I’m much more of a time trailer/speed runner then a competitive online player. My lines and item management are good enough that I can usually hold my own pretty well in online lobbies and what not, but if you want in-depth guides for how to play the tracks online in terms of items and stuff, I would recommend JPGiviner’s vids He’s actually played in like legit competitive leagues for really good teams
Pretty much any strategy that will make you go faster, but only if you can do it with a high success rate. This might also depend on your position in the race - if you are first then the safer route might be more appealing than if you're say ninth and trying to claw back places That being said it's sometimes better to forgo the best lines for double item boxes, or to dodge players with items (e.g. triple green shell)
I can get the SMT without too much hassle, it’s doing the whole strategy in a way that’s faster than what I’m currently doing that I’m not able to figure out Like when I was putting this video together I got to a point where I could get the SMT pretty much every time, but then when I switched to just doing the tricks off the ramps instead I immediately saved more than 0.2 sec per lap
loving the input visual on the left! really helps me understand better what it should visually look like. wish the older uploads had this too 😩
At some point I’ll be remaking some of the older videos. It was supposed to happen a lot sooner but with the DLC dropping God only knows when lol

Awesome! Love the controller input visual!
Thank you for sacrificing your hand to put this together 😂
To this day I literally can’t play the track more than twice without my hand starting to cramp up

Knocked an easy 4 seconds off the previous time, which was obviously pretty bad but you know, happy with it
Dude I neeeed a Big Blue 150cc tutorial! 🥺😭
edit: love your videos btw
I beat the staff ghost by 5 seconds without racing the staff ghost 😭
Anybody else posting their improvements to mkleaderboards? Seems way more active down the bottom where I am, I bet its these videos?
I cut 9 seconds off my time with your tips! Thanks so much!

I usually pick sherbet land online but after seeing some of these strats I dont think I even want to touch this track offline

Love this video awesome tight turns!!!!
The input display is really useful :D great video!
How do you get to the wall as you enter the first cave
I'm the cave there's a turbo, how you got there? I never see how tf enter
Love your stuff, as always! The addition of the "switch" controller input is great
