Question: did previous employees fail in this role? If so, why was that?

    Hi @Millionaire Recruiter
I loved your youtube, I've been in health care for many years and finally decided to believe more in myself and started my own Medical Recruitment Company. I have never run a business in my life so I'm completely new to recruitment. I have my first potential client on Monday { Care Home} it's becoming real. Please could you advise me on questions I could ask or how I push for the business

Hi Brianna, my husband has been contacted about positions that turned out to be positions that were (from the start) positions they intended to fill internally. Are they just collecting resumes? He’s gone through 2, 3 interviews where it seemed like it was a “done deal,,” only to be told that they promoted someone from within. Now, the recruiter was pissed, but then didn’t respond to my husbands inquiries, nor have they contacted him for anything since that incident. This is why people have a distant for recruiters. Anyway, would one of the questions for the potential client be “are you also looking at placing someone internally?” Thanks!

Absolutely. Companies are always looking to place someone internally. That is part of the reason why I ask how the hiring has been going up to this point. How many people have they interviewed, how many offers have they made, and why have they not been able to fill the position yet. Your husband's situation sounds like the recruiter didn't have a great working relationship with their client and may have been in the dark just as much as your husband.

Hi Brianna! I found your channel a couple weeks ago and love your videos! I have a question for you, what would you tell someone that is interested in becoming a recruiter, but is nervous about entering the industry because of recent recession predictions. I'd love to know your thoughts!

Thank you for watching! Are you talking about a specific industry or recruiting as a whole? There will always be ups and downs but over the 12 years that I have been recruiting it has always evened out.

@@TheMillionaireRecruiter yes, I guess I was thinking of the recruiting industry as a whole. But it makes sense that it depends on what industry you choose to recruit in. Thanks!

@@kasondracory4 What industry are you thinking about recruiting in?

@@TheMillionaireRecruiter you make tech sound very appealing! So that's a thought, and I plan on taking your course soon which makes me feel more comfortable going that route! My professional experience is in wealth management, so I've thought of that too. That industry is cyclical though, plus I'm looking to get out of the industry, so those are the drawbacks there I think. Any advice?

@@kasondracory4 Yes, I'm biased towards the tech industry :) I'd say give it a shot and apply to a few different recruiting agencies.
