      I was a bit upset when they brought in a stack of characters in S2 however ms. Stubbs was by far the best.

    That "For me to judge?" thing there seemed to me to indicate that for a second there Wolcott, who likes power and to be in control, entertained the notion of surrender but then decided against it. He compliments Joanie on the gun. It turned him on and off simultaneously. There's a hint of sadomasochism going on here.

      Bull Head I know what you’re saying bull but I’ve read a lot about Oklahoma history where I’m from and Son of A Bitch was considered the ultimate insult even until the 1960s. But f$&k this that her constantly was very rare. In fact For Using Carnal Knowledge FUCK was the words the abbreviation came from so as you can see in the 21st century it was meaningless for century’s because it’s just the first letters of the words attached to people in stocks in Salem Massachusetts and other places. But as always I could be totally wrong. Of the century lol 😆 just kidding

      @@ronniebishop2496 you could be right and i doubt David Milch wouldnt did all of that dialogue if he wasnt working too hard on his research for this show. theres so many versions of english back then as so far as to go back to the roots of 'old english'. who knows how they speak on that time cuz i wasnt there obviously. but im just illustrating my point cuz its just a tv show set in the late 1800's and its common sense that people who talk in TV is not similar to real life.

    • @ronniebishop2496
      @ronniebishop2496 3 роки тому

      Bull Head Well you could be totally right or he could have added those words for more shock and effects and it’s working because were talking about it. And the language is so eloquent and then bang inserts come lol.
