Woman found dead in far West Bexar County identified; BCSO investigation remains ongoing

- Investigators are still trying to find out who or what killed Lucinda Gutierrez Delgado, 44. Her body was found Wednesday morning along a busy road near Highway 90 and Highway 211.
So sad. I hope this is solved and justice is served.

Nobody deserves that
If you assume she was jogging than Delgado knew this area well enough to be comfortable jogging there. If the force of a car moved her that far off the road then there is no way the driver doesn't know what they did. There will be signs if she was moved by a person. At least with an ID the police can start investigating more.
She also could have been hit hard enough for her body to be far off the road…
You are right and the driver would just keep giong because this is the way people are and worse when the drunk shows up out of guilt at the police station they will say they were to scared to stop and the police will slap their hand and he will be off the hook and on his way back to the bar.
@@Lighttningbolt And some people are so drunk behind the wheel that they never even realize they hit someone. It's absolutely horrifying.
I wonder if it's possible she staggered a few paces before she dropped.
Father God, you know who did this and how it happened. Please reveal this to those who need to know, in Jesus's name. And if she was murdered, I pray that the person(s) turn themselves in.

That is unfortunate.
It is quite obvious she has been dumped here by someone who most likely have abducted her and then abused and dumped her body at this location. Hopefully they can find the perpetrator/s who did this heinous crime. The day we as humanity value life, this will end, but unfortunately this seems to have become a 'virus' in humanity, taking innocent lives. Who in their sane mind would go 'jogging' in a spot like this, no one....luckily she was spotted and I pray and call for her to get justice. x

The photo they flash looks like an ID headshot vs a mugshot. Mugshots tend to have height demarcations on the wall. Her hair wisps are too clear for that to have been blurred out. Also, as someone who was hit by a car and then walked a quarter mile home before passing out in my room from the resulting massive concussion and then waking up to the back of my scalp separating from my skull from the resulting hematoma, I can attest that a *LOT* can take place that seems unlikely. If she was clipped by a bigger rig, the driver may have never known and she could have instinctively moved away from the road in shock and succumbed to her injuries. Whatever the story, RIP.

@@sroberts605 Oh hey, thank you so much! What a kind comment. It's not an experience that I recommend, for certain, but 11 years later and after a lot of adjustments to re-invent abled living, I am healthier and happier than ever. I do move a bit more slowly now, though - HA!
My first thought when seeing this was remembering how deeply primal the instinct was to escape danger [scene of the accident with this person freaking out at me] and find quiet in stillness. Thankfully, my house was close and when things unraveled there, I had people home who could help me. I can easily see finding a quiet spot on the side of the road, succumbing to shock and internal bleeding [mine was a brain bleed] - I just truly hope she passed in as much peace as possible.

Have respect any questions answered should be addressed in front of law enforcement offices not at murder scene. Not saying don't show location. But have some sort of decency not everything needs a on the location type of response. Your work is appreciated(reporters,camera person)You all get paid enough. Is all im saying hit the high,have sympathy and keep it moving. A problem needs a solution help with a resolution. Don't just report problems or misfortunes. Keep speaking it and it will change. Just watch. You all are the watchful eye help change the narative is all I'm saying. Problems= Solutions.

As unsavory as it might be since it is about a dead person, I think police reporting should always be transparent and fast. There should be no exceptions in it.

Well considering she has had her mug shot taken she is not most likely not a pillar of the community and was involved in criminal activity which led to her death however closure is a must.

The reality is that it is overwhelmingly likely she was killed either by a callous driver who didn’t stop, or by a male partner or ex - as the overwhelming number of murdered women are. She could turn out to be an ex-servicewoman, for all you actually know. Or her “criminal activity” could be a teenager’s one-off misdemeanor. Or if she is in the sex business - that is not a crime in itself. In many places it is the customer who is the criminal.
