Moving up to 10mm in the Tisas 1911 D10 is a real upgrade. It outperforms both .45 ACP and 9mm with more power, better velocity, and deeper penetration, making it perfect for everything from self-defense to hunting. Plus, it’s awesome to see the 1911 handle the punch of 10mm while still feeling just right. Great video-your review really nails why 10mm is the way to go for anyone looking to level up.
Thanks for watching and commenting. The Glock G20 and Springfield Armory polymer pistols chambered in 10mm are fine shooters, but a well-built 1911 in the same caliber - well, that's just finer.😁
@@mitchblackwood I’ve shot 250rnds of S&B range ammo, 100rnds of Blaser steel cased & 200rnds of Underwood 180grn XTP’s. Initially I had a few failures to feed on last round of both magazines. But no issues at all on my last three range trips with both kinds of ammo
@@mitchblackwood Myy Son-in-Law, who owns this pistol, has put quite a few through it. For me, only those fired for the review (50) had been fed through it. The Tisas D10 seems to have the beef to handle 10mm for quite some time, but I can't speak to the longevity of any firearm as there are too many factors to consider.

@@JeepsCafe I can fully understand why, even with Turkey's track record on human rights. The fact remains that the buyer gets a high-quality product for a very reasonable price.
Thanks for being with me once again. For urban carry, I do prefer the Glock G23, .40 Smith & Wesson or .45 ACP in a good 1911. When I am in an environment, like the North Georgia Mountains, where there is is a wide variety of wild animal species to include: American black bears, coyotes, bobcats, foxes, and rattle snakes, a good revolver chambered in .357 Magnum would dispatch most. Black Bears, however, can weigh from 126-551 lb and can run at speeds of 25 to 30 miles per hour. With a charging Black Bear, I either have to run faster than the slowest person, which unfortunately would be me, or have something with a bit of power in my hand to dissuade a charging Black Bear from continuing with its charge. A pistol chambered for the 10mm Auto is a good persuader. While Black Bears are not as large as their cousins, say in Alaska with their Grizzly Bears, the cute and cuddly Black Bears can wreak some devastation, especially when they are hungry or in protection mode. I don't spend much time at all anymore in the North Georgia Mountains, but used to primitive camp when I did. Four-legged woodland creatures I did not worry much about; it was the two-legged kind that seemed to pop-up near camp unexpectedly that were worrisome. You just never knew if you were invading somebody's illegal marijuana crop or still area, and their care-takers are very protective.
@@Bill-jv5eg I fully understand. Might I suggest using a wrist brace? Because of my CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome), I have found a wrist brace very nice when shooting, especially .45 caliber (ACP or Colt), 10mm, and .49 S&W. The brace helps to support the wrist while having some padding in the palm of hand, but not enough padding to really interfere with the gripping of the firearm - revolver or pistol. All digits are exposed so that there is no interference with finger movement, as with a shooting glove, full fingered or open-fingered. I use the X-large size of this one (www.amazon.com/dp/B002NLGNW8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1&psc=1) and it has made shooting a more pleasurable experience. Inexpensive, but a good means of protecting the hand and wrist. I have several Kimber 1911s. Good pistols - enjoy😁

@@RangeRoninChronicles Check out the Kimber Stainless LS 6" barrel (SKU: 3000372)
Awesome well written review! I've been eyeing this gun for some time and just waiting for the right one to come along. Not many out there.

I love my Tisas Yukon 10mm Commander, it is a beast!
Thanks for watching and commenting. Ayup! The Yukon with the "Commander" 4 1/4-inch barrel would be a handful to handle.
how many rounds have you put through yours?

Very informative
Thank you. I appreciate your watching and commenting.
My friend has that same pistol. I got to shoot it but came no where near the groups you produced. 😅
Excellent and relaxing review Range Ronin!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. The D10 proved to be an excellent performer, for sure.
@@RangeRoninChronicles D10 is a solid pistol. I had no complaints about the manufacturing. Compared to Colts now I'd rather take a Tisas any day.
