@@femmeomenal290 I think a painting does not necessary need a huge/deep philosophy behind it, because the meaningful thing can be the painting itself, such as how a brush stroke create an effect, how the colour blend in with the surrounding, or how different layers create the 3D effect... etc. That's what portrait artists or landscape artists do in their paintings.

I really enjoy knowing that you're a geek artist!!! I'm one too, when I was in university it was super hard being geek and find my way at the same time...
People were judgmental a lot!!! Teachers were amazing tho! Students not at all, I was judge by trying manga style painting and drawing stuff inspired by my favourite video game Guild Wars (the first one).
I love when I find artists who are geek and do geeks stuff it makes me feel less appart in the art community!

Every time I watch you paint part of backgrounds over your foreground or allow a drip to cascade the entire length of your hard work, I literally almost cry.. I cringe inside.. Then I look at the 'full picture' and always completely fall in love with it. All of it.. It's imperfections seem to immediately turn into perfections. It's your touch. You're style. In jealous of that ability of yours. I find it comparable to a superheroes power. Seemless to you, yet untouchable to me.. I wish to one day lose the perfection that merely causes me imperfection. Instead embrace those imperfections as its truly those moments that make art perfect. You've always so much incredible information in your videos. So much we can all (not just artists) learn from.. I truly appreciate you for that! 🙏

All the things you mentioned that you like to do aside from fine art is perfectly fine. If nobody told you before, allow me to be the first : you do not have to live by the artist stereotypes. Meaning, you are allowed to have many interests and you should. It's perfectly fine and I would go as far as to say that it's healthy. Otherwise, how else would you give yourself a break? Doing other stuff that interest me keeps me from experiencing burn out and it's also a way for me to refresh my painter's "eyes". Have a good day Alpay. This piece is nothing short of fantastic! What you described in the 'conflicting interests' is common in the Jack-of-all-trades world. Projects get pushed back because I have to make some epic meal, that requires trips to several stores, or another project comes up where somebody needs help, and I have the chance to learn something new. But despite the confusion, the end result is an amazing ability to pull MANY skills together, and make something epic!! Like a HERO painting! :)

I've been looking for inspiration to paint Captain America from a reference that has colours and contrasts I find dull and wouldn't normally do but it's for a dear and well deserving friend so I need figure out how to keep it exciting and interesting without too much deviation. I've never done oil paints but I know they'll give it much needed richness and depth so this will be my first one. I've watched a few of your videos and I'm really inspired. I have a few ideas on how I want it to be now, especially from listening to your commentaries ☺️
