Thanks for uploading! This is something I still struggle with sometimes as an advanced learner. I will definitely keep an eye more on the front rather than the wing mirror and see how that goes (along with my usual marker on the dashboard) 🙂

@@GetWheelDriving Thanks! I tried it out yesterday on my lesson a few times and I got it perfect on one of the attempts. I used it when doing a parallel park too (one of my worst manoeuvres!) and it worked better as far as lining up my car looking ahead, rather than more to my left at the vehicle.

When there's not much space you could get close then manoeuvre slightly closer to the curb in reverse (personally I prefer parallel parking). Sadly most people seem to just drive onto the pavement... and then just as many simply park up on the pavement... two strikes if anyone were interested in enforcing code.

Parallel park is always the best option totally agree! Unfortunately you’re right about the mounting pavements and leaving the car there. They can get tickets for that though not a good idea!

6:31 how can we make the difference between forcing someone to slow down/stop, and someone allowing us to finish manouvre, doesn't matter what manouvre it is, because I feel that is a very very fine line between these to, and my judgment is not the same as examinator's judgment, also depending on loys of factors, on the space, if the street is narrow, the other car speed, do you beleive is worth making a dedicated video for this? Or a more detailed examples, I couldn't find a clear answer in your videos regarding this issue. Best wishes.

Thats a good point. You have given me a vid idea and I’ll cover this in that… thank you for your comment!

But what if the road has no ‘bays’?

You’re not the first to ask this so I think a follow up vid is on the horizon!

If your to close to kerb u may potentially DRY steer before pulling away?

Dry steering is not usually a fault… it would have to be really excessive to become one.
