1984 saw the long-awaited reunion of the classic Deep Purple Mark II line-up of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice. It was the first time they had been together since 1973. They recorded a brand new studio album, "Perfect Strangers" and headed out on tour. This show was filmed in Melbourne, Australia and is the only full length concert film of the band at this time. It's a stunning concert with the band in incendiary form. The setlist mixes then new tracks from the "Perfect Strangers" album with favourites from the early seventies culminating in the brilliant "Smoke On The Water" finale. This is without doubt one of the finest Deep Purple concerts ever filmed and a must have for their legions of fans.

I remember seeing a very small picture of Deep Purple in a 1984 sports magazine (imported from Hungary). I carefully cut it out and put it in my wallet. Now it is still there. In that magazine, there was an article on a new DP album! I started waiting... Finally, I got it on a cassette! Family, friends, school... ceased to exist the moment I played the tape... Have loved Peep Purple all my entire life!
At 55, I play drums in a classic rock band. Mr Paice is a real master! Probably, one of the main reasons I took up drums. Thank you!!!

Обычное утверждение малообразованного, с отсутствием вкуса человека в качестве своего опрадания, оправдания безвкусицы. А в целом причём тут нравится тебе, или нет. Можешь продолжать быть фанатом " Иванушек " , или Ёлки, или ещё какой палки низкопрофессиональной и безголосой.)))) Как то наплевать на то, что тебе лично не нравится Ковердейл. От этого ему ни холодно, ни горячо))). Главное что он высочайший профи с величайшими способностями и возможностями голоса. И это факт. А свои низкопробные вкусы не стоит выдавать напоказ)))).
