I think the gearbox must be part of the explanation. As you say its really quick off the line. If it only goes to 90 in first gear vs 260 in model 3 perf it kinda should make it easier for the engine

Hi Bjørn, next time brake boost. The car will then not shift gear before 100km/h when you use brake boost.
I have one for testing if you need or want to do it again.
Hi, great video as always. So do you use launch control in these tests if it's available? I am wondering bacause my Marvel R performance does 0-100 in 4,5s in SPORT+ mode if you hold the break and gas pedal, then let go of the break pedal. It's called break boosting..... But maybe you havent used that on the other cars that you compare it to.
In the danish test its faster than specs.. around 4.6.. so what was the outdoor temperature and SOC ?

No self parking and no heated steering wheel.
All other accellerations test ive seen is quicker than what Manufacturing says…

Björn! You need to breakboost! Other youtubers have gotten 4.5 sek 0-100 with same timing gear. My friend has a Model Y LR awd, which i regurarly beat in 0-100

Curious why brake boost should work in an EV? There’s nothing to spool up? Or is it because the MG has a transmission?
I test all the cars the exact way.
@@bjornnyland The point of this boost feature is that the gearbox doesn't shift before passing 100km/h..... So you would get a better time :)
sorry for asking. will it engage somewhat like a lanchmode or how do you do the boosting? flooring both pedal? waiting for my marvel so just wanna know so i can try :D
