It's always nice to see Japanese interpreting tangos, but as usual, they tend to aim for accuracy - be impeccable, but in doing it, they neglect the passion. I guess it's in their DNA. Japan is a culture that prides itself in being precise. Latins, not so much. They take risks. Tango is Latin. Latin is sanguine, not hermetic. Can't play it without "feeling it". Hay versiones japonesas de tango técnicamente impecables y que no carecen de pasión. Es mi percepción en este caso ( y sigueiendo tu criterio solo los alemanes por ej podrían interpretar música de autores alemanes sin perder el espíritu de esas obras...etc erc con composiciones de otras naciones y culturas). No pienso que sea tan reestringido ni estricto.
