17:30 "Who could have done this murder? A portal appeared and 10 arrows shot-gunned out of it. It couldn't have been Tom the shotgun archer, his friend and personal wizard - portal boy - can vouch for him!"
13:16 - A spectacular joke. 10/10. Much like Tom, I also did archery once upon a time long ago. It's not the best when you've got hypermobility, so my joints had me giving it up earlier than I'd've liked. That said, it is always a fun reminder when doing motion control or VR games - as I am still _quite_ good at all the controlled movements & aiming when the elements that pull my joints apart aren't a factor any more. Huzzah for another little simple incremental game with archery AND wizards!!
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1858 Ooo, love me some incremental, and this one is super cool :D Plus, it being free :O wow I would also love to get into archery, but damn is it hard to aim XD Oh now, Cloud Piercer, that is a good title :D
If you like the idea of a portal arrow to the face, check out the Paranoid Mage series. It's a completed book series and there's a webtoon in progress.
fr most of the training bows you get at the like 'try archery' places are absolutely atrocious from low poundage and normally dont even have a proper sight on it trust me actual bows you use for recreation are so much better and if your fingers hurt literally just use two fingerslings
Love tom trying to outsmart the system of "just click it when you can" games. Bro its a clicker, stop trying to do math, it aint gonna help. Been there, bro. Felt dumb as hell 😂
7:37 Tom. You have never once fired a bow and arrow. "Fire" is for firearms. "Shoot" or "loose" is for bows (and catapults, slingshots etc etc). As a lover of archery I will always be pedantic about this :) x
another sodding long eared obnoxious arcane archer , 50 gold on that the smuck forgot to pack more then a couple of fire and acid arrows , and has a bow with so low fire rate they cant use em good anyway dibs on their mind magic nulling necklace when they die to some random lvl 2 troll! hashtag internet point for all that can relate to that ;)
They're fun, challenging, interesting, sometimes _very_ deep, and are also possible to play while doing something else at the same time, because the core challenge of the genre is in careful, thoughtful planning in advance and watching the results unfold over time, not in precise, in-the-moment action. That said, if you only _feel_ challenged when there is immediate and reactive gameplay, and/or the risk of failure, then this genre probably isn't for you. For me, figuring out the perfect combination of multipliers and boosts, then swapping out skills and resources to make it happen, and seeing the progress bar for the next milestone switch from "8,453 years remaining" to "14 seconds remaining" is _very_ satisfying. That said, this particular title is definitely one of the easier and more relaxed games in the genre, so it's not great at showcasing how difficult they can be. It's possible to complete this one without trying very hard, so those looking to test their skills would probably speedrun it, working out the optimal order in which to buy upgrades and magic powers for maximum progress.

Just bought 20 Minutes Till Dawn, loving it. Tom never knew he had delayed reaction salesmanship skills. … Good job!
Hell ye :D
I bought Peglin a few weeks ago after watching a million hours of it here 😄
this game is great. just wish it was longer
That’s what she said
@@praharin dam I just read that comment and was going to say that sigh lol
An origin story of Legolas being taught by Gandalf on how to shoot with magic.
What multi-tasking! Shooting your bow and arrow, AND blasting a target!

I did two runs of this game, and I must bow down as my finishing times were both slower than Toms! 1:04 was my first one, and 52:05 the second.
I just KNEW Tom was gonna play this after I saw him play the tower wizard game
Ah, dragon slaying... A knight's highest calling~
Tom, no! You were supposed to help the goblins beat the elves, not join them! Some real Horus behavior, buddy!
Awesome looking game, for sure. Well played.

Where you can buy IT
Loved this game thanks tom.
12:55 - Channeling Filbert
This game gives me Kingdom Two Crowns vibes
the way the greed gets shot in the same 2D style yeah hahaha
Turns out it’s not the size of the target but the size of the arrow after all
Incrementible
Tom.
You should try Orb of Creation.
looks mighty similar to wizard tower
same developer
@@andyb281Oh, so next game will be "magic warrior" and then there will be a game containing all 3

Not the biggest fan of these incremental games personally. It's in the like of those clicking games. Just found them super boring.
Sorry, but what is it lately with those crappy "games" that pretty much "play" themselves with absolutely no challenge?
