- Regina & Mr. Gold's scene from OUAT S2E17: Welcome To Storybrooke
I am actually pretty surprised that Regina was still able to keep her cool after Cora's death. She could've easily ran amok and created chaos in Storybrooke. She could've actually targeted Charming to claim vengeance for Snow's action. But she didn't.
She kinda sucked it up pretty well unlike our Poor Snow who turned cray-cray after the death of a housemaid.
Do share with all the ONCERS out there!

It's rather laughable to me that Rumple is the one trying to talk her out of vengeance. It's kind of the equivalent of your drug dealer telling to get off the pipe.
Who better than your drug dealer? He knows what heis sayig
"You can't have everything." "Sort of like how you have to choose between the power of the Dark One and having Belle's love?" "No, that's totally different."
*Season 4 spoilers*
What's really interesting about this is the fact that by the end of season 4, their roles have just about reversed themselves. Rumple is the one saying he can have everything and Regina is the one cutting her losses and not getting her happy ending because of it, but being mostly okay with it (though not willing to give it up that easily). Rumple thought he could have unlimited power AND Belle, and the price he paid was losing everything he ever cared about. Regina lost her lover (Robin) but she still has Henry and she's trying to get her happy ending.
Regina finally listened, and Rumple should take his own advice.
To be fair though, Rumple very nearly DID win. He was a matter of moments away from having unlimited power and being free of the dagger, which would've also changed his weakness back to Belle and helped him cleanse himself of the darkness in his heart.
Well actually, Rumplestiltskin's main problem is he cares for no one but Bae and Belle and has no problem walking over others to get what he wants. However, he's not driven or consumed by revenge like Regina is. He did try to kill her in revenge for Belle's imprisonment, but after he cooled down and realized how Belle didn't want it, he stopped his attempts. Just saying, they're both evil, but the situation is not quite as you imply. :)
Based on what I've heard about season 4, Rumple, you need to listen to your own advice.
But he doesn't have everything. Baelfire is dead and he still hasn't cleaved himself from that stupid dagger.
Michelle Jackson Yeah, but he tried to have everything. And just caused more problems.
Yeah, exactly. However, I think that it's a lot more difficult for Rumple to give up darkness and power than it is for Regina because he's under the influence of a dark curse, Regina is not.
Schoolgirl325 Funny how the 'good' characters keep forgetting that.
Coral Roper Exactly, even Belle does this. I want them back together, and Rumple does undoubtedly have a lot of issues to work out with Belle before he does. However, Belle's causes a lot of the problems in their relationship as well by getting up and leaving Rumple every time he does something wrong. I'm not saying that she should just let him destroy lives, but she could be more understanding and helpful when he does and not just walk away.
My favourite scene in the entire series. Regina never looked so gorgeous!
Rumple: you can't have everything
Regina: yes i can
It's kinda like a parent talking to their their five year old child
erica jane Not to mention that little pout she has when she says that ahahah
2:00 This is the same obsessive mistake she made with the Curse. Rumple more or less told her in S1 that the price of keeping the Curse was giving up Henry. It was always going to come down to that, on the day Regina brought Henry to Storybrooke, she started a clock ticking, either the Curse would destroy Henry or vice versa. Now she's making the same mistake again, refusing to face up to the cold reality that she simply can't have what she wants without losing everything.
It scares me how deranged Regina sounds when she's like " I will have my son and I will have my vengeance!"
Henry suffered for that thankfully he's ok
Yes. Hatred and anger, when they become intense enough, can eat you alive and literally make you crazy.
ThePinkDragon - Thanks to Emma, his grandparents, and Rumple. It was a close run thing.
Yet, Rumple couldn't give up his own vengeance. He wanted to kill Zelena for killing Bai and he did that, but what happened? Zelena came back and took her own revenge. Yup, nice going Rumple.
Yeah, the later-season writers really effed up Rumple. In the early seasons, he was a villain, but he also had a certain amount of wisdom and he was not all bad. In later seasons, he became stupid, careless, and his villainy was more on the mustache-twirling level. I kept waiting for him to kill a kitten just to prove how evil he was. :sigh:
Yeah but Rumple's reaction was pretty justified. If someone dared lay a finger on my child, let alone killed them, I'd probably burn everything around them to the ground and then kill them.
This is the Regina I always loved best; defiant, vindictive, and proud.
He kisses:Cora,Regina and Selena
But he only loves belle
Well he loved Cora before Belle, but now in the present he only love’s Belle and his family
О, мой любимый персонаж Румпель, имеет второе имя. Теперь, он называет себя мистер Голд.❤❤❤😂😂😂😂🎉🎉
Я наблюдаю за ним и Реджиной. У них состоялась встреча и был серьезный разговор.
I really like this scene because it shows, in an odd twisted way, that Rumple really does care. If he didn't care, he wouldn't have bothered advising Regina at all, let alone going to warn the Charmings of Regina's plans. But he does. I think he kinda realized he needed to make some amends for causing Cora's death and tried to both advise Regina and save Mary Margaret.
We can say what we want about whether he deserves redemption or not, especially in later seasons, but I think it's clear here that he does at least _care_ about the people he knows he's hurt.
he is the one who taut her magic an that's what made her mad
1. Check your grammar. 2. He may have taught her magic, but he didn't force her. He never forced anyone. In the end, she chose to learn magic *AND* become the Evil Queen. Rumple may have shown her the way and helped her to it, but she ultimately made the choice.
Rumple tells Regina here that she can't have everything, and then goes in season 4 and Hook tells him "Ya know she (Belle) truly loves you. You could have her forever or all the power in the world." and Rumple responds "I don't need to chose, thank you. I can and will have both."
Rumple clearly needed to take his own advice. If you notice through out the first 3 seasons it seems like Rumple is legitimately trying to change and be better, even sacrificing himself to stop Peter Pan. But in season 4 he goes back to his old dark power hungry ways. I truly believe the thing that made him regress as a character was Bae being killed. When he lost his son, the very reason he trained Regina and set up this whole curse, it broke him and he went back to his comfort zone: dark magic.
you are right, and for reminder, it was precisely for baelfire/neal that rumple has wanted to become the dark one.
and seeing baelfire/neal dying under his eyes has broke the heart of rumple, But after that, he has married belle and could finally live a new happy life but has still everything destroyed himself
and for me rumple is the best villain of the series
and i have 2 movie songs for him.
the swan princess 2 : You Gotta Love It
The Hunchback of Notre Dame: Hellfire
and if you are interested, I have other disney songs for other characters
Regina would've been happy, with Cora and Henry.
Alex Ortiz What about Emma, David and Mary Margaret? They deserve their happy ending more than Regina.
@@roxysandru7740 'It's not about Deserve, it's about what you believe'.
R.O. No, because Cora is so evil that it could never have worked, Regina and Cora are too much alike to be happy together for long.
Cora was using her for her own ends so she wouldn't have been happy with her first off, second off she is a villain so it doesn't matter if she is happy
1:39 Cora also had to give up her daughter. But maybe that wasn’t planned yet.
I would say yes I can
I didn't even know that same guy from 28 Weeks Later than that show
Regina Mills Under Pipe Rumplslstkin He’s Tantrum Issues Talk
Golden Queen is my OTP and I regret absolutely nothing.
But she hated her mother?
good riddance to that old hag I say
Y’all sure this was season 2 ?
Yes
