      How much does Clay charge to go to his ranch and build a bow?? Or is it a "by invitation only"??

    What tool/bench are they using to hold the wood steady when they scrape it with the draw knife?

    • @danielraven3855
      @danielraven3855 2 роки тому

      It’s called a bowyers bench, and the tool is a drawknife

    What was the point for the hot box

    • @VortexNation
      @VortexNation 3 роки тому +1

      It keeps the wood dry and humidity from affecting the bow before it's sealed. Thanks for the question!

      You can also use the hotbox to dry the wood much faster, albeit still slow. I’ve seen people put a hickory stave in a hotbox for a month or so and it dries with no Ill affect.
