45 percent of the player base dipped out , my friends aren’t playing that means I’m not , I have everything already and my weapons get weaker week to week I’ve stalled out on hell diving
Main thing that killed it for me is the constant crashes & lately 80% of my missions result in no extraction since it doesnt work.. You get in and nothing happens wasting 40 minutes of unbalanced fun.
Do u have AMD graphics card? Try updating your driver's or reinstalling also don't overclock the graphics card it helped me
@@kaptain1477 I use an RTX 2060 super, everything is updated and was installed recently and its not overclocked.
The random crashes are rare, I'm talking about randomly being kicked out of the game to my ship, same for my friends. Main problem is not being able to extract.. It just ruins all the fun you had making me just quit on the spot.
The friends that begged me to get this game stopped playing, I still have a lot of grinding to do while he doesn’t, but I’m also not playing solo so it’ll stay like that

This 100%, with the constant technical failures and bugs combined with absurd and unnecessary balance changes time and time again, major orders that don't progress the war in either direction, and boring and useless new war bond items, it's just getting frustrating
Out of the last 4 orders this has been our 3rd failed major order. I'm not sure if they are accounting for the lower player counts. I know not everyone is supposed to be won, though the more losses that are adding up in such a short time frame, I'd imagine people getting frustrated and leaving. Moral is low lack of missions, psn issues, game fatigue, and let's not forget the nerfs+bugs getting old.
Then stop playing.

Sometimes you just get into a game and everything goes to shit 😂 I had one this morning. It put me into a mission with 1 other person and we landed in a horrible place with shriekers and chargers everywhere lol

The planet currently having around 44,000 liberating it? It's already calculated to be getting done in 1 day and 21 hours. There is enough as all the major order wants is to liberate the world and the mech is ours.

Was hopping for a new mission type like the automaton version of the termicide missions.
Around 44,000 (and still counting so far) Helldivers have made their way to start liberating the planet currently, already calculated to be accomplished in one day and twenty hours. We're getting the mech soon.
Update: Almost 50,000, world is bound to be liberated in 1 day and 13 hours. Helldivers Companion App will keep ya up to date if you want to see.

Some that progress has been lost. Joel made the Automatons push harder. Now they have a constant -5% per hr. Overnight hours will be the downfall. Not enough divers at night anymore.
@@BearDude2311 Of course, never to forget about Joel who would make up some interferences. Things have taken a turn, but we'll eventually see a lot of shifting as time progresses.

Between lower player numbers, and some of the crashing issues on retrieval. There was no way to get the last order. It should be extended to a week. I don't understand why they don't undo the last weapons nerf as a quickfix to the rebalance.
Also for like the two last days or more there were no defend planet missions. Those are the best for killing tons of enemies. The first day of the order there were several and a lot of progress was made, then nothing not even one.
Because they rely on data more than physical feeling it out.

Obviously, we're winning this major order if people keep saying we're bound to lose and all. M8, we are expected to win or lose in a lot of major orders, not 100% winning. But this is an obvious win.

Most players didn’t if it still stands at a hefty 50K to 60K players on Steam, and even then it’s still going strong.

@GhostFu Yea, when this game had its original player base. But with all the updates, restrictions, and just fun being sucked out, the amount of players that is required to tick away at these MOs is much more in question now, especially against bots which a lot of people just avoid entirely now.
Bruh there are 50k people on the planet, the hardest part is going to be defending it for 5 damn days.

The mech works well against the bugs, if the Autocannon is similar to the sentry one it will be a upgrade against the chargers and titans. If is more like the support one it will be useless as the mech are useless against the bots anyway.

@@kamikeserpentail3778 dude, its an armored exo suit, you should be able to tank like 2 500 kgs before the mech starts smoking (im exaggerating) for that 10 minute cooldown and only 2 uses. Mechs should have stronger armor, or their weapons should be extremely lethal to anything heavy armored or above

But yet again I play them pretty supportively in the backlines.
But they sure need more armour and maybe some way to refill ammo

Arrowhead needs to cook up some more Stratagems and ship upgrades to pull some people back in.

They have like 50 in the wings, gonna drip feed them in with the story to stretch out the content. Come back in a year and you'll have plenty
They need to adjust the Major Order completion qualifications to reflect the number of Helldivers that have been active as of late. Now that the numbers dropped it’ll become harder for the actual people playing like me who actually wanted the AI Troops and can’t have it because it wasn’t completed, it’s like holding content back for the players actually playing. This won’t motivate people to play or players to stay if we don’t get the content 🤷♂️

Is the Game perfect? No but it is still super fun, people just like to shit on everything and focus on the negative

I totally agree, the lowered player base is part of the Sony fiasco and the I doubt Arrowhead knew what all of the balancing managers past. The game is far from dead, and while criticism can be good, people are expecting a lot from Arrowhead. Their an indie dev studio they have a small team on the game. I want to see the illuminate emerge soon, but with the blocked regions and and working on rebalancing they've got a lot to do, and I can wait for them to clean up other people's messes before they release new missions and enemies. I love the game and I think people and being a bit over critical in some areas, but the game is still kicking strong

That said, alot of the criticisms are valid. Fighting a war with 25% of your army, armed with actual NERF guns, against a massively buffed army (against partial squads), spread across two fronts. It's literally simple math, we're fighting an unwinnable war... like mid 1940's Germany... 😂
The problem with the new mech is the old mech. We saw how gimp it has to be to meet their balancing standards.
I don't expect the new one to be more useful then the old.
I be honest with how the game balance looks like this one has 2 auto cannons and I bet the second you try to shoot something too close your mech will explode

You know, if you keep hitting that button on the radar the one adjusting can't hear if they hit the spot. And if you hit it early it all gets funky. Just use your mic or wait a smidge ;-)
I just look the console screen and check the direction i need to move the dish.
You can also press right on the d-pad (or whatever for PC) and the character will relay the direction out loud. They use compass directions though, which works, but I relay it as a clock face when on mic to friends
I’m still playing dropping in with randoms been a fun time but most my friends have had irl events and vacations out the country but I have been playing futbol more in the day and dropping at night 😅
I hope they buff the heavy machine gun emplacement stratagem. If the mech shoots autocannon rounds its already stronger. Plus isn't a sitting duck and can move
I know people want the weapon rebalance patch and the blocked countries to have access to the game again, but im still enjoying the game. Id rather Arrowhead take their time to get the balance patch out to make sure it works right, and the relisting is discussions between valve and sony, so Arrowhead doesn't have much say in what happens there. I still love this game and despite people saying the game is dead, i think itll still hold on for until they get the weapon rebalance patch out

This is cool and all but can we keep talking about how Sony still has not unblocked Helldivers 2, 180 countries a process that as Valve has advised is a simple email from Sony to reverse the ban? It's been a month and still no unbanning.

Again, this seems cool, but there's a massive balancing bile titan in the middle of the Pelican-1 that no one is addressing. Namely what's stopping them from adding just 2 more mechs in and then everyone running a full mech stratagem load out? I know that'd be something that gets addressed later, but after we unlock this (if we do rather) then what's stopping us from having Patriots and Emancipators only on missions aside from objectives that require us to get out and move things by hand? This is absolutely going to break the balance and we can only hope that Johan will find a way to keep it fun and away from Alexus's grubby mitts where he'll nerf everything about the exo-suits until they're unplayable and he'll STILL claim something along the lines of, "Yeah, I will die on this hill that 15 extra damage per shot in trade of 300 fewer shots is the better trade! And you just need skill not to turn and shoot yourself with the cannons. It's not that hard (on the tutorial level.)"
Something is bound to change where we're going to be limited on the number of heavy deployable stratagems we can have at once to prevent an all exo-suit meta from sprouting.
6:21-6:24. That's a perfect example of the RNG bulls*it the Automatons have that drive bug stompers away from ever trying. They go from Stormtrooper to Robocop aim in 0.03 seconds depending on what RNG dictates and when there's several of them on the field, that RNG can proc on a few of them all at once. And then you're like that jedi in Star Wars 3 that gets gunned down by all the clones. No hope and just every shot hitting them.That's not fun or engaging. That aimbot pendulum needs to swing a lot faster on maybe every 16th or 33rd shot will hit (with the amount of dakka some bots put out, that's not too far fetched,) and then maybe 1-3 shots will hit. Right now it seems like you go 15 seconds with maybe an occasional one off and then one of them will spend the next 3 seconds laser focused on you hitting every shot they shoot on you. They really shouldn't have been doing that to begin with and that kind of aim should have been reserved for the higher difficulties. Accuracy by volume is usually the name of the game, but once you get to higher levels, enemies usually graduate from Space Balls "Lieutenant Dumbass" to a predator hunting an alien.
Even if we win this order, the mech will probably be too fun and get nerfed like everything else or it will just be straight up broken like the previous mech was.
If this happens, I will probably delete the game.

Angel venture just needs a little more reinforcement and we can keep the boost and complete the major order
Trying to load artillery shells on the side objective is insane there are non stop spawns and it’s annoying as hell.

I only do it on lower difficulties since I just don't have the energy to deal with the swarms on any higher difficulties.
Tho I just play on lower difficulties now because I just can't play on any higher without getting bullied around by hunter and bile spewer spam and rocket dev spam.
Stockpile the shells before you hit the console and you will be fine.
Its not that bad lol, just dont activate the terminal instantly, gather the shells then activate and load them. You can also throw the shells by pickthing them up then instantly switching weapons before it enters your hand, makes it go very quick

can i say maybe lower the number of killing enemies or make the countdown to a whole week ? i remember always getting medals when helldivers 2 was on the high point but the PSN drama and balance problems people getting burned out all counts to that we fail one major order after the other 5 days isnt enough we need 7 days at best rn as we arnt 200k players we are around what 50-60k players we are missing a lot of divers rn and their support

I've spent three days straight doing the major order and I'm ready for a fourth
If they revert the patrol spawns people might come back. I tried to solo a challenging mission I got swarmed by 3 patrols and 3 bug breaches.
Haven't they already reverted that?
@finlaytemple1744 it doesn't seem like it. I did a helldive mission last night, and it was at least doable with four players. But solo? You waste that patrol with a mag from your primary but miss even one bug, and it calls a bug breach, then you reload, waste the bug breach, reload again, and have another patrol immediately after. The cycle keeps repeating with no real end, and you end up not moving at all. Whereas before these changes, one could solo helldive missions. Challenging missions for me were at least enjoyable because you made progress and swept the map. I don't even want to start a helldive mission because it seems like I'll get swarmed by titans and chargers the minute I drop in.

I know we all wanna rush to the new mech unlock, but we need to finish vernen wells. If we finish vernen wells, we got our liberation bonus back, and we can unlock the mechs easier! VW is almost done!
I highly doubt we'll get the liberation progress back. I bet it's a one and done since they can't even revert nerfs let alone make a system to assist liberation.
i like how they're still making major orders like they still have a constant playerbase of 400k players instead of 50k, and wonder why we've been failing every one for the last month besides like 2.

Helldivers io says it will be complete in 1 and a half day with current numbers. And we are in a weekday with majority of the playerbase still at school/work

Idk if I'm looking at the map wrong but it looks like the supply lines are going to be super hard to maintain. Currently I see 60k on Varylia 5 this looks very sketchy, but ill give it a shot. I was kind of hoping for a new weapons buff before I started playing again.

Ustotu is currently held and provides the most stable supply line. If we don't lose it, then the MO will be fine
We're going to lose Wezen though, but may be able to take it back (I'd assume after Varylia 5)

I believe this game will get better we just need to our hope for game to stay strong.

One mech has a Machinegun and relatively small blast rockets.
The other has 4 support weapons. It is, in theory, the firepower of 4 teammates with autocannons.
It is essentially completely Anti-Bot, being tall enough to shoot into fabricators, and having the height and non existent range dropoff would let it literally assassinate anything: Hulks, Striders, even multiple dropships.
Hilariously, it seems like a support mech.

@@quanlinglingdingle6122 considering how in the first helldivers game, the illuminate surrendered, and how when you walk to the edge of the map on helldivers 2, you get a pop up saying to get back into the combat zone or be “branded a traitor”, I feel they could build on that. You it's funny the hardest parts of this game now has ironically come from the bugs and glitches and the constant nerf to weapons while buffing enemies. The game has become a chore then fun
For Brasch's sake, help us liberate Vernon Wells FIRST! We can help keep the liberation bonus if we get the training planet back, and we're stalling out at 89% liberated because everyone's run off to Varylla 5! We've got five days to liberate Varllya, but a quick push can finish Vernon Wells and still get us the AC Mech too!

We're not beating any more major orders, this game got mortally wounded when Valve region restricted so many players after the Sony BS.
Bot aim is too fast now, they can also see what we can and all the planets seem to have poor visibility lately.
They should’ve reverted some of the weapon nerfs before this major order.

Thats what I was hoping for. My friends I used to play with might actually get on if they buff the weapons in the polar patriots warbond that aren't the pummeler and return other nerfed weapons to their former glory.

Im completely fine with the amount of mission types i happily put 300 hours into deep rock a game with less than half the mission types helldivers has but the difference is the weapons are so godamn fun and unique in deep rock it doesn't matter and overclocks are on a different level hopefully helldivers weapons strategems and eventually vehicles become as fun as they can possibly be there is so much potential but it needs to get back to its original fun state first
Can’t complete the orders without the band other helldiver 2 countrymen! So I do believe this game will be shelved until they my other helldivers are free and receive democracy

@@HydrocannonThis order *was* achievable then we had all that PSN nonsense and lost practically 70% of our reinforcements. They should’ve extended the order but now they have an excuse to delay content and focus on patches. Whether he did a full D9 op or not, it wouldn’t have mattered.
