Back in the 1800s Italian immigrants arrived at Ubrique and introduced this small Spanish town to leather trade. Since that moment, the importance of leathercraft continuously increased, until it became town's primary industry. Today, local manufacturers focus mainly on cowhide, combining traditional artistry with modern techniques to achieve best results.
We were surprised to find out that Ubrique’s leather supplies the biggest names in the fashion industry - Chloe, Gucci, Loewe and Louis Vuitton. 75% of Spain’s leather goods come from Ubrique, and some factories produce more than 1500 bags per day.

Great video again,seen all andulusian ones as I am planning to visit next week.. One minor note: houses in andulusia have white paint not because it was under muslim rule but simply, white reflects sun better.. It is very common in greek,italian and turkish southern towns as well :)

Hello again, the prices for food look very reasonable, like a Filet Mignon 16 euro and other food like eggs look good and the prices for leather very nice to, no i never heard of Ubrique but heard Andalusia, thanks for nice video and have a great time.

Hi you all, When i was in Berlin i bought some beautiful leather and a coat from France with squirrel lined from a famous designer, but didn't get to wear much but was told it looked great on me when i wore it and all from Ka De Ve Berlin and some other places to, so anjous to see how it looks in Switzerland, but most will have to be shipped with my furniture have a great day Jerome from Florida

If you come back to Segovia, you can visit the Royal Palace of La Granja (The Spanish Versailles), which is 5 miles away from Segovia. And between Madrid and Toledo is the Royal Palace of Aranjuez with a beautiful gardens too.
