this is actually one of the most simple iron farms I have ever seen. I am on day 6 (in minecraft days) in my hardcore world and when I looked at the resources needed to make this farm, I ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING!! Thanks for making a farm that doesn't require hard to get resources. This will make getting iron so much easier.

for players who dont hv the farm working- "1st make sure the farm is quite far from a village, 2nd make sure the villagers are able to see the zombie or not, if they arent able to see him, then move them away and bring them again in the farm, 3rd(important) make sure that the golems arent spawning in nearby cave, if there are caves of pits, cover them."

@Zen Craft I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure it still works just at a much slower rate. This design is not too large and although it might be a little bit of a trek, I suggest moving the farm away to a location on the same y level (easy to transport villagers and zombies that way)

Really helpful video! Make sure to note that golems spawn in a 16x16x12 block area around the center of the farm which needs to be spawn-proof if it is at the same Y-value as the top, or lower!

important tips if you make this farm on the ground you need to spawn proof with slabs or carpet 16 x 16 block or else iron golem will not spawn in the trap pool, also spawn proof if there is a cave 16 blocks deep.

Build in in the air, use wattles design, it is better, since if you build it like in the video, the iron golem might spawn in nearby caves or on the surface

@@niyati7990 Hi, yeah sure. It might be difficult to understand just by reading it though.
Basically you do a room just like in the video, then in a corner of the villager chamber you make a 2 blocks high opening with slabs so they can't get out.
From the diagonal block of the corner you count 16 blocks. Once there you do a second room/farm from the diagonal again. Repeat this until you have 4 rooms.
Then you need to place rails and powered rails all around BUT you leave the 3 block at the angles of the villager rooms so you can place a water stream. That will slow down the zombie in the minecart to scare the villagers.

worked perfectly after I placed about 300 carpets around to stop the golem from spawning outside. After about an hour, already have 2 stacks

See if its too close to a village, if it isint, check if the golems are spawning on the surface. If it STILL aint working, check all the caves around the area golems must be spawning there
