The thing I really, really love about learning guitar is how I appreciate music I never would have considered before. This is a great example of a song I never knew existed, but your take and explanation has made it one of my new favorites (I was never a "country" guy until I started playing). You're a serious talent among the UA-cam guitar folks, so please keep up what you're doing. You deserve 20x the amount of subscribers than you have so far (easier said than done I know...)!
I'm a little late to the party on this one but thank you so much! I'm generally not a country fan but I loved this song first time I had a buddy play it for me. It reminds me a lot of my late grandfather. I've been trying to figure out the melody, but haven't honed that skill yet. Now I can hopefully play lead on it while my buddy strums away! Well, for guitar players I think pieces where he soloes a lot must be cool (I'm not a big fan actually, so I had to search through some tracks). Something like "Down by the river"; or "Ohio" and I guess many more with this country groove you like. I just thought you can really make a thing of it.
