This is the song that got me into Radiohead. I like that you emulated the live versions rather than the studio version. Have you ever thought about doing two covers of a song when it varies between live and studio? Maybe doing a “studio version” cover and “live version” cover? Great job either way.
I pressed like, when you cut off the howling guitar - love that moment! Your covers are awesome. The richness of sounds, it just feels so full, no element is left behind. Love them all! F for tambourine slapping hand 😉✌️
The tempo from 2000 era with the fills from 2003-2017 live version makes this cover awesome. I dislike the faster tempo they started playing it live from 2003 onward lol
Awesome! I've always preferred the live version over the studio. Could I make a couple of suggestions that you could maybe add to your list? Packt Like Sardines - Live at BBC 2001. There is a better live version from Canal studios the same year but it's impossible to find an isolated video. I uploaded it to youtube myself years ago but I can't make it public. Kid A Live at Berlin 2000, which in my opinion is the best version of the song they've ever done. Unfortunately there's no actual video of them performing it, just audio. Would have been cool to see Jonny playing that harmonica part!
Taka’s tone is fucking phenomenal. Awesome cover, man! Any reason that you went easy on the low end (kick/bass)? Might’ve just been my AirPods, but would’ve loved some more punching through! Fantastic work though!
Hi, sounds great guys. I have been going a little nuts trying to figure out a part of the song. On the studio version at about 2:20 there is a sound that begins that sounds like maybe the bass or guitar riff being played while hella muted, it is a very neat sound. In your cover it seems like you guys cover it with a tambourine. Do you have any idea how that bit is being played?
Thanks! Listening to where you said in the studio, I think that is the equivalent to what Ed does live (and what I’m doing here) during that verse with the muted “chukka” strums. So you’re right, it is a muted guitar I think!
underrated bass line in this song, just the right amount of funk to it
Taka you really nailed it at 3:59 another great song I love it!
nice rendition
This one strays from the original quite a bit sonically and I'm all for it! Loving the freshness. Fingers crossed for Kid Amnesiac.
🤞
this one is very clearly more based on the live versions (which is good cause the live version of this song is better)
@@roof_of_the_fop I thought that might be the case, I never saw a live version actually! gotta check it out
@@roof_of_the_fop It sounds a bit like the I Might Be Wrong EP, no?
@@roof_of_the_fopfirst thing you said was correct, second was incorrect

Thanks Austin! It’s definitely a thought!
What looper are you using for the Intro? And I need to be honest the best cover of the song I've ever seen!
@@timmehtimmeh-by1fv thanks! I think it was my EHX 1440!
Love it..It's my favorite Radio head
2001 / 03 Live Version 😍😍Awesome. You nailed every sound.👏👏👏 ( I'm missing Thoms 1,2,3,4 count at the end 😆)

Still waiting for
Pablo honey from the basement.
3:57 - I'm crying
Now, i might be wrong but this may just be the best cover of this song ever.
Taka's Guitar and Joey's poneytail were made for this song -- massively Spot On Guys! Takes me back to Paris and the year 2001 : )
You sing this so damn well, and the tone of that Starcaster is wonderful. Excellent cover, as always.
I got super excited when I saw the tambourine in the thumbnail
One of my favorites you’ve done. Your pipes were 10/10.
That rocked guys. Nice job!
You guys are slowly morphing into the real Radiohead, i swear to god i can see Thom and Jonny right here.
I pressed like, when you cut off the howling guitar - love that moment!

Possibly the best song on amnesiac or at least my favourite
Solo part is beautiful !
3:02 You were standing so still I thought my screen had frozen.
😂
The guy playing the bass and guitars looks as if Jonny and Colin were fused together.
maybe he's their third brother?
You might be the closest thing i've heard someone sounding like Thom in a cover. Amazing.
Good stuff! Glad it isn't way too fast like most live versions I've heard.
Might I suggest Cut a Hole?
I thought that was actually Jonny on guitar for a sec, perfect cover.
What if... Johnny covered Taka covering Johnny 🤔😉
Nice one. Love it 🤘🤘🤘
I COULD OF SWORN I SAW A LIGHT COMING ON

It’s so good I wanted to applause in front of my phone by the end of the song 👍😉

As always 🔥

The logical conclusion of 2+2=5

English is not my first language so can you tell me what are you saying after 3:22. Also it is a great cover.
Thanks! “The waves go out, come in again”!
@@JoeEdelmann3 Thank you.

Damn sounds so close to the original. You even cloned johnny
Nice work, fellas! Now Taka has two different haircuts 🤔
You should cover Cuttooth! Super underrated RH song
Would Taka and you ever consider doing a Sigur Rós cover?
Maybe! I’m not well versed in their language though 😅
do you have the vocal track for this? great cover!
Thanks! Ive released the instrument stems of some of my covers on Patreon, but usually not the vocals.
