- Here's something different from the usual entry stages: a mini-game from Magic Card Casino, unlocked after obtaining your first Energy Element. It's all about endurance and has a leaderboard for how long the player can last; the longer, the better. There wasn't a time there that exceeded 3+ minutes, hence why I decided to set that as my goal.
To summarize the rules, the goal's to survive as long as you can while using Magnet Beam to ascend endlessly, as hitting the bottom of the screen also damages you, like the variety of enemies coming your way: knowing how each of them behave here is important for getting the best time. Upgrades like Skull Amulet and Metall Helmet helps with survivability as usual.
Most of the enemies can interact and land on the Beam platforms you leave behind, which somewhat goes against what's been taught in the weapon tutorial. I don't understand why this isn't the normal behaviour for Magnet Beam as a top-solid platform rather being an exception just for a mini-game. In any case, this can be quite relaxing once you've mastered Beam-jumps (jumping onto the beam as you release it before the top of your jump). Not as relaxing as Solitaire... but still; the classics simply can't be beaten.
Wow really amazing ideas here. Baiting the Yanbows and Watchers is really cool and there's some really sick dodges in here too.
