I love how Mechanix just burst in right the hell out of nowhere. It's great, they need to include Mechanix in their set list more often.

It’s actually quite easy, once you get the basics down. I’ve been playing it for about 8 1/2.
@@pashastroud2801 I agree is not that hard 😂. I guess since this is my warmup song every time I pick up my guitar. I find The mechanix much hard to sing while playing.
Dave vocal on this concert sounds better than in Rude awakening, even though this was 7 years later.
Holy shitballs, could you imagine the shock on the crowds faces as it's just regular Holy Wars, and then a song from Killing is my Business comes on.
Keith Gunshot Oh man, I was lucky enough to see them play this combo in Atlanta in ‘08.
Also, this is before they did band announcements after Dave’s last solo, killing the climax of the song. That annoys the ever-living shit out of me.
It was intense and back then it was a surprise. UA-cam wasn’t what it is now, going to a show meant not having the ability to see prior show set lists or videos right away.

+Ned Bately - as someone who plays rhythm and lead work in a band and sings, realizing how much talent it takes to play rhythm parts that are THAT hardcore and still sing the way he does is just near inhuman. James Hetfield is one of the only other frontmen with that level of talent.

Hetfield doesn't play like Mustaine does. Metallica riffs are considered easymode vs Dave's stuff.

This is probably one of the best vocal performances from Dave Mustaine in recent history. It saddens me to know that these are now days of the past.

Mustaine is simply an incredible rhythm player. How he plays these songs and sings them at the same time is beyond me...

i've been a metallica and megadeth fan since the mid-80s and i never knew this, but i just verified it as correct. you, dear penguin, win an internet gold star.
I would love to have seen Megadeth do Holy Wars with The Mechanix being played in the middle. That would have been a great surprise indeed. Both are amazing fast aggressive songs and it worked perfectly.
