I picked my "All New Fiesta" ST3 up this morning, and I TOTALLY agree with everything you have said. Even on my shortish journey home I really noticed the excellent handling through the corners. This car just wants to go! Just like yourself, my first car was a Fiesta MK1 (1L), so I have a soft spot for the Fiesta. This is my second ST3 (both of them 3 door). My first one never failed to make me smile every journey. I have a suspicion this one will do just the same! Thanks for a great, and honest, video.
One of the things i like about you channel is that you give a proper review and don't just do what some do which is get in a car and drive like a nutter for 20 minutes. This is what makes you channel the best.
Totally agree. This is a proper review. Car looks like fun and my 1.0t mk8 fiesta courtesy car (that I have whilst my focus RS is having the recall done) is even very good to drive, full of tech and does feel very premium. Good vid, they should make a Fiesta RS.
Word Maestro Yeah, they will make a fiesta rs one day. I haven’t even got a license as I only just turned 17 so won’t be getting a car like this for many years
Petrol Ped , The guys from Ford have been wrong before. In 2006 they were telling me that the ST was the modern day RS and that the mk2 wouldn't get an RS. They sold plenty of RS escorts and fiestas in the 90s and other manufacturers have more than 1 flagship model.
Wife picked hers up 2 weeks ago handing back her 2016 ST. This is a definite improvement all round on the previous model. The engine pulls and seems to constantly want to go faster. Revs quicker, steering responds quicker and it feels more solid than the previous model. Very happy.... You have to add the performance pack.......
Nice review Pete - You’re one of the few You-Tubers that have great content on your channel instead of just Supercar/wrap/new exhaust/clickbait rubbish. Please keep it up as it makes refreshing viewing - thanks!👍😊
Drew Street I meant dream car that I am afford. My dream car is either a Lamborghini Aventadoor or a Jaguar F Type. I am unlikely to be able to afford the Jaguar or Lambo however I can afford this.
@Sylvain Delrue I'm hating but there's better cars to get, well that's my view on it, such as starlet gt turbo, pulsar gtir, mk3 fiesta rs turbo , s13, 180sx etc, but like I said not hating its just my view on it
Drew Street yeah they re cool but the repaircost of those cars alone after years of abuse and the inflated „ricer tax“ make them actually pretty expensive to own.
Great video, especially for any prospective buyers! I had the MK7 Fiesta st and absolutely loved it. Currently have an M140i which is great, but I have to say that the little st is probably one of the most fun and engaging cars at any price! Highly likely that the MK8 st will be my next car. Quick question, I know you drove this during the day so probably didn't check, but is there any ambient lighting in the interior?
Hi Pete, just to shout I’ve done the odd thing and replace my S550 Mustang GT to one of these pocket rockets. Exactly the same spec on your video except it’s a 3 door and without B&O & lights. I was blown away by the 3 pot performance and loved the LSD plus M-Pilot Super Sport wheels . Got a cracking deal due to being end of month/yr. looking fwd to getting more MPG back from my daily commute. Keep these vids coming in - a great honest review which I used as a ref to get mine and justify the stang faults.
Finally, a decent shot of the footwell and the pedal layout with an actual foot heel-and-toeing (in the same position as I usually do it). Looks like I can heel-and-toe in this little Fiesta.
Great review. I have a grey 3dr ST3 on order. I've told the dealership to wait registering mine so I'm counting down the days to the release of the 68 plate and my collection!
25k is a lot for 200bhp ‘fiesta’ (with the extras) ..... close to golf R, Megan RS, focus RS, bmw 140i money!~30k .... fords have never been big on the power even down to the mk6 150bhp (which I owned back in the day!) great review! I know you don’t set the prices haha! :)
Thank you for the review. Great as always. 5 dr seems completely useless as the back seat is so cramped. Besides 3 dr looks more sporty. Brilliant little hot hatch, but in your opinion, is the ride too stiff for daily commute?
After spending so much time in dad's Mk3 RS the interior is really something that lets it down - but the interior of that ST is definitely a lot better. Actually really like it!
Another good review. Picking up an ST3 for my wife in the morning. Had great fun with the demo. No comparison with my Panamera but i think she may wake up to find a set of shredded tyres.
@@PetrolPed Spent the day in it with her and yes she loves it. Surprisingly to me the little ST parked up got nearly as many admirers as my Panamera. Great fun cheap little car. You are so right the limited slip diff makes a huge difference. Not sure on country lanes i could keep up with myself in my Panamera.
Great review bud! 👍🏻 I test drove that very same car last week from Hendy and loved it. So much so I’ve now just bought a fully loaded ST3 from Hendy Portsmouth which I hope to pick up in the next week or so. Coming from the old ST this is a great car but I get the best of both worlds as I’ll have both. 😁
I’m not the only person here who would admit to thinking Ford had lost the plot when they said the new Fiesta was going to be a Three pot. I haven’t yet driven one (fully plan on it), but it seems Ford have actually hit the nail on the head. It makes a great noise, revs quite nicely from what I’ve read in various magazines and so on. I wonder if this will be a new trend that the baby hot hatches turn into 3 bangers, and the 4 pot motors remain the preserve of the bigger stuff like the Focus ST, Peugeot 308 GTi and so on... Great review as ever mate :)
If you got in the car and just drove it you would be hard pushed to say it was a 3 banger ! Mini have it in some of the models. The drove well and sounded really good ! Glad you enjoyed it :-)
I drove the st3 this morning on a test drive, it's soo quiet until you floor it. You don't have to drive it hard like previous models because this model gives a surge of power that kicks every time from the eco boost.
Great review. I am going to test drive one next week. I would have liked your review to have included a bit about the infotainment system, Sync 3, number of USB ports etc. These are questions that are quite important, how it syncs with your phone etc. I believe you can also have a CD player in the glove box. I would also have liked to see the blind spot removal system, lane guidance, road sign notification and the big one.. Parking Assist. But, thank you.
Hi there. I have talked about that more in other Ford reviews. I tend to focus on the driving experience and feel but thanks for the feedback. Useful to know what people are interested in. You will certainly enjoy the drive.
No problem, I have since found out that Parking Assist is available on selected models but not on the ST for some reason.... who knows maybe next year there might be an ST4 with it on lol. If you want Parking Assist you will need the Titanium or Vignale.
Great review Ped! This review along with a test drive of an ST2 helped me decide whether or not to order the performance edition or not! I did I picked it up last week and it is an absolutely top top level motor, cheers again!
A buddy of mine just bought a 2017 Fiesta ST in America, and he loves the car. It is black and looks real sharp. Unfortunately, the Fiesta does not sell too well in the US, so Ford is not continuing the car in the US. Too bad, I really love the blue color you show and the two door version. The British versions always look like a better car than what we get in the states. The interiors look far more luxurious.
They gave us the Fiesta ST, the Focus ST and the Focus RS. All great vehicles, but they have a 5000.00 dollar premium on the Focus RS at the dealers in the US, and most of the RS models list for over 42,000 dollars plus the premium. I have driven the ST Fiesta and love it, but in America the market changed overnight and now everyone wants to drive an SUV and a crossover. I am upset as are dealers that Ford wants to cut all American sales of sedans and are eliminating the most of the Focus cars, the Fiesta, the Fusion, the Taurus, and Lincoln sedans will follow. Anyway, the British versions always seems to be better, and that two door Fiesta looks great!
I’ll tell you right now about that Launch control, when he Dumped the Clutch, you could hear that Engine banging off the firewall, my 2014 ST did the same thing, I had to beef up the Real Motor Mount and it solves that problem, I put a Cobb Motor Mount in it.
oh thats what it was! i tried the LC too and heard a really loud bang at some point. my first thought was "oh shit the driveshaft snapped" always wondered what it was since i never saw anything.
I recently bought one of these in the same blue in Australia. Yes, it is a beautiful blue. Interestingly, there is only 1 model (5 door) available in Australia and LSD, launch control and B&O come as standard. The only options are the roof and paint. BTW, I love it.
My friend has a 3 door MY2016 Fiesta 3 door, (his partner's car really) He'd rather drive the ford than his Audi A4.....smiles/miles. Thanks for another great review. I've never been a Ford "fan" but from your presentation, seems a great car for the money. Guess they all do the same job these days and it gets down to the extras & toys you have for your hard earned together with some personal aesthetics, cheers!
I like this car, but it would be my only car if I was buying it. So how do you think of those Recaro seats, are they good for sort of a road trip? And overall motorway refinement? Appreciate.
I had the 2016 Focus ST. A bit bigger than the Fiesta, but still great fun. You want real fun, get the RS. I owned a 2018 Focus RS for about 1 year......It stills scares me, but a shit load of fun.
I have an ST3 Fiesta Nov 16, looks so much better than the new one, and by the sounds of the reviews, quicker and more fun, so I really don't know what to do as I like a new run-around/track car every 3/4 years? Great post by the way :)
It's so much better than the previous generation. I love every corner and side of it! I've already test driven it and sat on all four seats to test it all around. It's fantastic for what it is. The spoiler is probably my favorite part. The paint options are poor though. I wanted the orange one but naaahhh, can't get that.
Lovely car. I'm waiting for my dealership to get theirs in so I can have a go. Pricey with that spec though, I paid less than that for a Focus ST3 6 months ago.
Another great review The price like you said is a little high but I dont think it will stop them from being a best seller. Good looking little car as well unlike some that look like they crashed in to Halfords
It's about the most common car I see at the moment. Ford did really well on this car it's selling like hot cakes. Seems to be mostly people around 20yo that buy them so insurance must be decent. Looks and sounds great.
Really enjoyed this review! I currently own an Audi S1 and want to downgrade as it’s a little too expensive for me. I’m currently looking at putting down an order on this, do you think it’s a good choice? The S1 is very fast, I know it won’t live up to the speed but I will be gaining more mpg, less tax and less insurance if I swap for the ST. Good idea? What do you think?
Probably asking the wrong Guy as I am an Audi fan ! If you can live without the top end grunt this will still put a smile on your face. It is brilliant through the twisty stuff and had a cabin that can compete with the Audi (first time I have ever said that about a Ford !)
Watching this four years later 🤣 as I just got myself a second hand 2020 one in same colour. I'll be hanging onto it for a while now they aren't making them from next year. Shame I don't think I have the performance pack but had low mileage and enjoying it very much 🙂
Hi Pete. I want to suggest 2 reviews if you can get hold of either both of them but maybe it could be hard to find them stock. They are 90's cars but. They are Fiat Punto GT and Fiat Coupe turbo. The Coupe Turbo you have the 16v with 192bhp and the 20v with 220bhp. Just an honest review and compare to the more recent hatchbacks and coupes. And very nice review on this one Best regards.
What did you think of it? I took one for a drive a little while ago. It was manual as well. But I felt it just made a lot of noise but didn’t have a lot of power. Not compared to my mini S at least.
Like wise my fn2. The st is certainty fast and fun really tempting to buy. but my fn2 just feels a bit quicker and more racy. If Honda fixes the trany might go fk8.
Nice looking car and great colour. Thanks for the review, particularly the real-world test of climbing from rear seats to front seats. So, this or the i30n in your opinion Pete?
id think if you need a 5 door (and actually want to use them for... well persons) get the polo with sport select normal setting is more comfy then the fist ... if the fist came out just a few months earlier id probably gotten it ... not mad at my decision though polo is awesome too. Fiesta is awesome though way more awesome then i thought. oh and while were at it are you going to review the Polo GTI?
Great review of Ford's baby flyer :-)) If I could criticise it, it still has the typical exterior looks of a small "Euro blob". And by that I mean from 100yds away, could it be a Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault et al? Not sure about the "active cylinder management" system. Shutting down to just 2 cylinders?? But then motorbikes have had 2 cylinder engines for decades and they run OK. However, they're normally about 1/6th the engine size!!
Great review. Some cons of this model: piano black touches in the interior will probably reflect light bothering the driver, the boot seems to be more spacious than the back seats (why do they make unpractical back seats that nobody over 8 can use?)
Great Ford Car. I have a Fiesta Titanium HB 2015 6sp Auto W/ tinted windows. Petroleum is now $2.13 gal. USD in Georgia 🇺🇸 USA. Well worth the money w/ extended warranties price around under $23,000 cash USD. Really goes no slack Stops Straight line no pull. Cabin inside great All upgrades.
Wow Been watching a few videos of the Ford ST3 this is perhaps the best looking forward to mine in about three months brand knew from trust Ford stains . The noise it makes when it’s in sport or track mode is fantastic . Excellent video regards DSM 😁😉
To anyone who really really wants this car, why not try try a 1 litre st line first? It's an absolute hoot!! and is achieving 50mpg. Fantastic little cars!!!
Very fair & balanced review Peter, ticks a lot of boxes. About time Ford upped the quality of the interior. For me the “looks “ aren’t enticing me to get up close & personal. I think it needs to be visually more aggressive ( but that’s my personal opinion). Would I buy one ? Probably not.
Just seen this up close and personal and honestly looks better that in the pics as I was slightly disappointed with the back initially But agree with you, could be a bit more sporty.
Kevin B I could've got the 3d surround sound system with the sub-woofer that uses the spare tyre space, but turned it down for the space saver instead. Not sure how much that package is though. Good to hear that you got a great deal on your car. Is yours being built in Germany than? My car is at Shearness, i've gone for the special pearl - silver fox paint.
Wow! Fiestas have come a long way. Like you my first car was a mk1 1.1 with more holes than actual metal, but I’ll never forget it. Great review as always. Oh, I noticed the led’s flashing when you opened the bonnet, or was that because of the camera?
Petrol Ped I can top that. A friend was doing up a mk1 mini years ago, when he took the dash out and clocks etc there was a message on the back of the speedometer “oh no, not again?!” 😂
I think this Blue performance is a little bit too "dead", I'd rather the new Focus Chrome Blue color; so I'm decided between Performance Blue and Race red, which is more aggressive for me
A big improvement on previous model especially the interior... ... I'd Still have my Mini Cooper JCW over it.... The Cooper is a bit special, in my eyes anyway...another great review! Thanks
Enjoyed the review and subscribed. I currently have a Fiesta St3 65 plate. Love that car. Not sure about the new version. Have seen a used Golf R for that kind of money!
Impressive launch for a triple pot. Ya gotta check those kid locks fella, so funny. Mate you could not do a rubbish review if you tried! Massive pat on ya back from Lincolnshire yet again. Enjoy Goodwood FOS pal. Hats off and cap tipped to ya. Good man.
Good review..as I think the fiesta is a awesome car..best in its class for looks and fuel economy and has great performance also..very sharp car ford has made. :)
The premium competition I was thinking of are new Mini Cooper S or even basic spec JCW's for similar money (UK).... Audi S1's with discount are also a bit close for comfort and that's before you go looking for nearly new Golf GTi's or 6-12 mth old Golf R's... Stiff competition, especially as a daily driver....
The Cooper S is for similar money in the UK? Over here in Romania it starts from 27k (EUR) for the 5door upper trim (without extras), and it doesn't seem to offer the same kit as in the Fiesta. That already places it over a fully equipped Fiesta ST and I'm not counting the eventual discount you get at the Ford dealership (you always seem to get pretty substantial discounts there). But yeah, if you have some extra cash I think it's worth the money. As a daily however I agree that it's not really a debate, the ST isn't exactly praised for its comfort. Regarding used - I'm actually an advocate of buying used, I guess the economic background of the country I live in has an impact on this decision. For 25-30k used you simply get a shitton of car. I found 2013 A7s revolving around that price. I'm looking to change my car next year and I'll be damned if the used market isn't enticing when it pulls shit like that. Completely makes me rethink my buying strategy. However it can be a trap for people my age as they tend to go get the biggest credit they can without thinking of the consequences. An A7 is more expensive to maintain than a Fiesta for sure.
Nice looking car, that sounds really grunty (If theres such a word?). Enjoying your reviews, especially on your Mini. My wife's just bought a Cooper S. The only issue I have with the interior is the centre information unit it just looks like an afterthought. Needs to be more integrated, rather than looking like someones stuck an iPad on it. Or is it me? New subscriber, loving the channel. Cheers
Thanks for the Sub. I've stopped saying it on reviews now but I totally agree with you about the screen looking like an iPad. So many manufacturers do that these days !
Lucky man... looks like he is really having fun. Better than being on drugs (not that I've been on drugs - ever - don't even smoke!) Fiesta is a great small car - my long time favourite supermini! But have to admit, the recent progress being made by rivals (Polo, Ibiza et al)catching Ford napping may mean its best selling status in the UK may be challenged.
Great review. Subbed when you uploaded the i30n review. I have the current ST and I believe one of these 2 will be my next car. If you had to buy, which one? I do quite a bit of driving as offices are based at stansted park near you and I live in Preston so noise, comfort and economy need to be taken into consideration..
Petrol Ped. No probs. Keep up with the good reviews. Well decision made! Just bought the st2 with navigation, b&o system and perf pack. Can’t wait till it arrives 😀.
Love it. Another weapon for the working class to annoy those premium brands.
They’re not artificial noises; they’re actual exhausts notes simply piped into the cabin 🤷🏻♂️

Mega car !
I have an ST3 Fiesta Nov 16, looks so much better than the new one, and by the sounds of the reviews, quicker and more fun, so I really don't know what to do as I like a new run-around/track car every 3/4 years? Great post by the way :)
First thing is to go and try one for yourself ;-)
It's so much better than the previous generation. I love every corner and side of it! I've already test driven it and sat on all four seats to test it all around. It's fantastic for what it is. The spoiler is probably my favorite part. The paint options are poor though. I wanted the orange one but naaahhh, can't get that.
You could always put a wrap on it ?!
Petrol Ped Yeah, you're right but I like my cars 100% OEM.
Evening my friend. That’s a growling lil terrier.
Lovely car. I'm waiting for my dealership to get theirs in so I can have a go. Pricey with that spec though, I paid less than that for a Focus ST3 6 months ago.
Definitely a car you need to drive :-)
Sounds like an old ford Essex V6, awesome 👍
Another great review
The price like you said is a little high but I dont think it will stop them from being a best seller.
Good looking little car as well unlike some that look like they crashed in to Halfords
It is a lot of money that's for sure :-)
Ordered mine 2 weeks ago st3 with pp, b&o and door protecters. Apparently it was being made today in factory
How exciting :-)
Great review thanks man, I’m still undecided on which colour to go for, but after watching this video I think I may have made my mind up! 👌🏼👍🏼
Glad I could help :-)
be nice to see what this 1.5/ 3 pot engine can achieve, with all the breathing, intercooler, turbo, piston and rods upgrades.
Alex no doubt, do it, this thing will entertain you, you'll never think again about your S1
Audi or Ford, sorry pal it's no brainer
Considering I own, and have owned Audi's before and the last generation Fiesta, I think that saying something about Audi's rep
Probably asking the wrong Guy as I am an Audi fan !
If you can live without the top end grunt this will still put a smile on your face. It is brilliant through the twisty stuff and had a cabin that can compete with the Audi (first time I have ever said that about a Ford !)
ST of course!!! True fun banger and performer, no comparison with a boring Audi! Thank me later :)
Watching this four years later 🤣 as I just got myself a second hand 2020 one in same colour. I'll be hanging onto it for a while now they aren't making them from next year. Shame I don't think I have the performance pack but had low mileage and enjoying it very much 🙂
Love your reviews. The Boosterjet 1.0 one was hilarious
And very nice review on this one
Best regards.
I loved the Fiat Coupe...they look so dated now though 😪
What did you think of it? I took one for a drive a little while ago. It was manual as well. But I felt it just made a lot of noise but didn’t have a lot of power. Not compared to my mini S at least.
That is pretty much what I said in the review. My Mini does feel quicker but it's still a fast little car :-)
Like wise my fn2. The st is certainty fast and fun really tempting to buy. but my fn2 just feels a bit quicker and more racy. If Honda fixes the trany might go fk8.
Can a bloke drive and own a mini though
Nice looking car and great colour. Thanks for the review, particularly the real-world test of climbing from rear seats to front seats.
So, this or the i30n in your opinion Pete?
That wasn't planned ;-)
I'd have the i30N. Although that is more or a competitor to the Focus ST.
Great car review Pete! This new ST is a little pricey for me personally, but it seems like a great zip into town or daily commuter.
Yep, it sure is. It does feel like a quality product though :-)
For a commuter or zip into town, the previous gen 1.0 140 ecoboost will be just as much fun and a lot cheaper...
What do you prefer to drive, the jcw or this#?
The JCW for me. Just feels quicker and more planted around the corners :-)
Go to Portugal and you will see what is pricey..
Ordered mine in that colour, can’t wait!
Good choice :-)
I have one of these. I find the steering irritating as it pulls left and right all over. But I live with it
The st2 doesn’t have adaptive suspension so there is no difference between any of the three modes.
Great review - nice to meet you yesterday Pete at FoS
Also, I saw you today on the big screen
Great to see you too :-)
Picking one of these up next week can’t wait
Loved the review. Very watchable and "normal" if that makes sense. I have just ordered one!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Sat in one at FOS yesterday. Agree Pete. Good overall package!!! 3 Door though !!
For me too :-)
id think if you need a 5 door (and actually want to use them for... well persons) get the polo with sport select normal setting is more comfy then the fist ... if the fist came out just a few months earlier id probably gotten it ... not mad at my decision though polo is awesome too. Fiesta is awesome though way more awesome then i thought. oh and while were at it are you going to review the Polo GTI?
Great informative video and covered everything needed. Can't wait to get mine now
Cheers Chris. You are going to love it !
Great review of Ford's baby flyer :-))
If I could criticise it, it still has the typical exterior looks of a small "Euro blob".
Get the queef dif. Its a bit noisy, squeeks and groans but when your really in it you will love the queef
Quaife diff?
Great review. Some cons of this model: piano black touches in the interior will probably reflect light bothering the driver, the boot seems to be more spacious than the back seats (why do they make unpractical back seats that nobody over 8 can use?)
I have had piano black details on several of my cars and never had this problem. Not too sure about the boot/seat issue ;-)
Impressive. Great job Ford.
This video shows why I would never buy an ex-demonstrator.......
LOL !
Great video though, like your presenting style, very informative.
Cheers Aiden :-)
Love this car ❤️ got one on hire right now .....perfect little car .......classy and sassy !
Mega thing 👍
Nice one Peter as always, I quite fancy one myself 😁
Cheers Paul :-)
Nice review. I think the new swift sport may be appealing to a few more with that price tag.
Yep :-)
Great Ford Car. I have a Fiesta Titanium HB 2015 6sp Auto W/ tinted windows. Petroleum is now $2.13 gal. USD in Georgia 🇺🇸 USA. Well worth the money w/ extended warranties price around under $23,000 cash USD. Really goes no slack Stops Straight line no pull. Cabin inside great All upgrades.
Petrol is about 4 times that cost here :-)
Wow Been watching a few videos of the Ford ST3 this is perhaps the best looking forward to mine in about three months brand knew from trust Ford stains . The noise it makes when it’s in sport or track mode is fantastic . Excellent video regards
DSM 😁😉
To anyone who really really wants this car, why not try try a 1 litre st line first? It's an absolute hoot!! and is achieving 50mpg. Fantastic little cars!!!
Good shout :-)
Very fair & balanced review Peter, ticks a lot of boxes. About time Ford upped the quality of the interior. For me the “looks “ aren’t enticing me to get up close & personal. I think it needs to be visually more aggressive ( but that’s my personal opinion). Would I buy one ? Probably not.
I think it could be a bit more aggressive too ;-)
Just seen this up close and personal and honestly looks better that in the pics as I was slightly disappointed with the back initially But agree with you, could be a bit more sporty.
I like the understated look. Nice lines.
Good honest review mate. How does it compete against the I30N? at the moment I'm torn between a I30N or used S3.
i30N is more of a competitor to the Focus. The Hyundai is a great car but I'd be tempted by an S3 ;-)
Got my one on order , ST3 same colour same options, should get it in 3 weeks time , great video !
You lucky thing 👍
Next friday i'm getting my st2 with the sport package. Got it £300 cheaper in the deal. Can't wait to get it.
FoI2eman 82 , great stuff , I got a grand off plus free paint as I'm an ex ford employee !
*Performance package
I found a Cornflakes box fillered into the floor of my 1.3 Ghia !
Petrol Ped lol! Good ol days! 😂
Petrol Ped I can top that. A friend was doing up a mk1 mini years ago, when he took the dash out and clocks etc there was a message on the back of the speedometer “oh no, not again?!” 😂
Lovely car and much fun watching!
Cheers Peter 👍
I think this Blue performance is a little bit too "dead", I'd rather the new Focus Chrome Blue color; so I'm decided between Performance Blue and Race red, which is more aggressive for me
A big improvement on previous model especially the interior... ... I'd Still have my Mini Cooper JCW over it.... The Cooper is a bit special, in my eyes anyway...another great review! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it :-)
Great review, I’m trying convince the wife to go for one of these to replace her ageing R56 Cooper S
Get her to drive one. Although the Mini will still take some beating :-)
Ill go with what you say the build quality must be better
Love ya rear seat review. Brilliant. Spat my cuppa out.
Enjoyed the review and subscribed. I currently have a Fiesta St3 65 plate. Love that car. Not sure about the new version. Have seen a used Golf R for that kind of money!
It is pricey, but it drives well and the interior is really nice. A used Golf R would be tempting !
Petrol Ped Thanks for the reply. Just to persuade the wife!
Hi great review as always. Now that you have driven both if it was your money would it be I30N or ST Thanks Peter.
i30N would be more of a competitor to Focus ST and as it's a little bigger I would go for that :-)
Impressive launch for a triple pot. Ya gotta check those kid locks fella, so funny. Mate you could not do a rubbish review if you tried! Massive pat on ya back from Lincolnshire yet again. Enjoy Goodwood FOS pal. Hats off and cap tipped to ya. Good man.
Cheers Buddy. Very kind of you to say :-)
Brilliant video mate. Really enjoyed it and keep up the good work 👍😜
Thanks...will do :-)
Good review..as I think the fiesta is a awesome car..best in its class for looks and fuel economy and has great performance also..very sharp car ford has made. :)
Glad you enjoyed it :-)
Seats felt like they would collapse at some point they felt all loose
Great review! Hoping to get one of these soon as my first 'proper' car :)
Good choice 👍
Dream car to date!!
Hey.... Emsworth :)
Nice review, lovely car.
Cheers :-)
Great review Peter and a tempting buy.. But low to mid 20K's puts it up against some very premium competition...
Indeed, that might be its challenge
What premium competition? An actual step up from the Fiesta would be the A1 which is way more expensive. Could you exemplify?
@@thetyrerjones JCW's in Australia about $30000 dearer than Fiesta - ouch
Love this video, compare to the I30N, which one is more fun?
i30N by some way ! Much quicker and much louder :-)
Better than being on drugs (not that I've been on drugs - ever - don't even smoke!)
Fiesta is a great small car - my long time favourite supermini!
Thanks for the Sub ;-) You should drive this one. I think you'll like it :-)
Petrol Ped. No probs. Keep up with the good reviews. Well decision made! Just bought the st2 with navigation, b&o system and perf pack. Can’t wait till it arrives 😀.
Great review Pete! 😀
Mine should arrive around late August. I have not seen the silver fox colour yet, but I hope it's amazing! (it is in that colour granted)
Wow...you must be excited :-)
Great review !! You made it really watchable!!
Cheers Michael. Glad you enjoyed it :-)
Great vid love the st thinking of getting one I've got a St line but need more power
You need to go and drive one...maybe leave you credit card behind ;-)
Petrol Ped I've had the mk,, 6 and 7,5st is the ride a little more better on the mk8? Is it as hard as your mini?
Quick question I'm thinking of buying one of these cars would you have a fiesta st or a abarth?
