An excellent tutorial. I followed it step by step and everything worked. My float switch had three wires: blue, brown and yellow/green. The brown was the wire to tape off and not use, blue went to terminal 3 and yellow/green to A2. Hope this helps someone.
Wow! This is video very informative and the best tutorial on the topic for me so far. I really appreciate it. Thanks for sharing it with us. Your ability to add the circuit diagram to your work makes you a top notch...
Your videos are of high quality standards and every detail comes with the understanding I have been searching for I can wait for forward and reverse as well as Star delta wiring
thanks for this brief and very clear video. just the way i wanted it to be. its been a long time that i like to install a float switch by myself but not very convinced yet because of my lack of knowledge about stuff like this. i have also watched a lot of videos about this matter but none were conducive enough for me to abosrb the details. thanks and kudos!
Nice graphics. Thx. If incoming neutral wire is open , in the float switch wire we will get live supply. Though insulated it may not be good for safety reasons. Please reply
Personally I don't think so, if the flow switch leaks it can be disastrous if you don't have earthing. Safe way is: Operate a 12v relay using the float switch and operate the pump using relay contacts so if the float switch leaks it will only leak 12v not 220v. People say the float switch is safe but for personal preference and peace of mind I have used the above circuit.
Fantastic Video. Can you do one whereby you connect two float switches in two different tanks. One tank is the storage (on the bottom) the other is on a Tresstle...
Hello and great video.I will be greatful if tou can help me. I have pressure switch which is operating with 230V Ac. I need to shut of a gas solenoid valve which operates with 230V. Shall i use a contactor
Thank you sir and very helpful to me and i have questions sir, how about trouble shooting is not working floatswitch.? Either to check the switch conductor or water pump? And more power!
Is the neutral run through the float switch? Mine is a simple two wire device. Seems safer to interrupt neutral with the tank float switch than 120v run through it.
Working in the EU standard, (and the float switch seems to be made out in that standard as well - Brown for L1, black for L2/Com1, blue for neutral) it seems wrong to not follow those standards for the rest of the wiring as well. Without a wiring schematic for the float switch, I of course can only speculate how it's supposed to be wired, but it seems weird to connect the blue wire to phase and the black wire to neutral.
Totally wrong in the float find the common with meter common to one wire will show NO normally close and and normally open in the starter find the jumper green button and red button connected to the common to the jumper remove bottom of green button connected to start when tank level comes down to start when reaches stopped so even power shutdown this motor will start stopped automatically
@@michaelmanimani8483 On a complete side note, have you ever tried using proper punctuation? It really helps make what you write readable. As it stands, I need a code key and an enigma machine to interpret what you've written, and I still risk a brain aneurysm it I were to try it.
The weight holds down the float underwater. It sets the arc the float uses to turn on and off. If there was no weight, the float valve would stay at water level and would not act as an on/off switch.
Ovesly wonderful work 1.wonderful animation 2. Owesome voice and nice presentation However this is not automatic control it is semi-automatic it does not put into consideration the water level of the well. No schematic diagram. It is for common people.
The phase wire is jumpered to A1. The pink wire is connected to terminal 3 with the incoming neutral and is tied to the common (neutral) of the float switch wires, the other is connected to A2. When the contacts in the float switch are in the correct position, the circuit is completed, and contactor will be energized.
My sump pump use a floating switch but only has two wires as a switch. It doesn't have three wires. Just out of curiosity can anyone use the floating switch on sump pump of the basement?

This is great, but you are too fast please.

watched 20 vids on this topic...this is the first one i can understand...lol great graphics!

the explaining was so good but can i get a diagram for this control?
thanks for this brief and very clear video. just the way i wanted it to be. its been a long time that i like to install a float switch by myself but not very convinced yet because of my lack of knowledge about stuff like this. i have also watched a lot of videos about this matter but none were conducive enough for me to abosrb the details. thanks and kudos!
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
great video. super easy to understand. hope to see more
Thanks for teaching. I found it very interesting
Best video on how to connect float switch using contactor ❤❤
Thank you so much… going to instal one tomorrow in Libala
Good tutorial and easy to understand.
Very clear explanation

Indeed it a wonderful video. If provide me with the refrigerator repair techniques too brother. You are really good at Electrical
Well explained,need more please
awesome video and very helpful thank you💯
Thank you just what I needed to know.
What modelling software are you using?? So clean and simple!
Thanks for the simple clear video. Is it safe for the mains voltage to be connected to the float switch which goes into the water?

😮excelent installation
Good lecture. please for the contactor, how many arms will i use
Thank you i am from Somali 🇸🇴
Yeah float sensor used for tanks ( fuusto- booyqda and wells ( ceelasha )
Thank You 🙏 So Much ❤
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing
Sharing is caring.. thanks a lot, sir..
thank you for easy understanding the wiring diagram
Very informative and learning video

very educative video thanks

Please can you explain into details of the counter weight at 1:23
The weight holds down the float underwater. It sets the arc the float uses to turn on and off. If there was no weight, the float valve would stay at water level and would not act as an on/off switch.
clear explanation by graphics..
Excelente maestro!
Very good explain

However this is not automatic control it is semi-automatic it does not put into consideration the water level of the well.
No schematic diagram. It is for common people.
One pump one controller with two tanks is it possible to install float sensor and how many float sensor are needed
Will this work with a pump that uses 2 hot wires (230vac)?
Thank you very much very explique
What if the tank/well down where water it taken there is no more water? Will pump stops?
You are the best
Wow learned something
what about the ground tank floating switch
Its automated so you wont need manual you can put a normal switch there or just pull down the breakers for it
what about photoelectric sensor ? its same way?
Please advise the brand and model of contactor coil?
You can use schnider. Model no. Depends on current consumption
So cool good lesson
Does it means the "float switch" controls the natural?
I think for a single phase motor(pump) it is better to connect the float switch in between A1 and the input phase.
Woow just woow very useful
Is this wired for 220V?
How to use float switch on 3 phase borehole pump ???
Wonderful 🎉
which software? Software name please
Thank you!
Is it safe to have 220V going directly to the float switch?
No
Thanks very much
good job
There is no neutral how will the contact energize
The phase wire is jumpered to A1. The pink wire is connected to terminal 3 with the incoming neutral and is tied to the common (neutral) of the float switch wires, the other is connected to A2. When the contacts in the float switch are in the correct position, the circuit is completed, and contactor will be energized.
❤❤❤ thanks

A circuit diagram would do wonders
Great,instruction
I wish you used white color foe neutral bro. Why use red and black to confuse everybody?
I need another explanation
In this video if u add a switch connection control it helps us who r new learner
Thanks elot genesis
But AC dangerous to working with float switch, must to be DC low voltage
❤️❤️❤️
Lovely .
But the is no protection for the motor....
but the float will contain 220V. which will be danger incase any leak
Thanks
Gret tutorial
timer realy ভিডিও দেখতে চাই , নতুন ভিডিও বানান
❤❤❤
l hd no ldea wt a float switch was
So cute
👏💐🇮🇳
Ya nope, don't want AC flowing through my water tank
Noypi
Teaching process is too fast
Dans
it doesn't work. anyway, excellent animation
