Thanks for a great review, very informative and interesting. I am looking to get one of these and this test/review has made the decision for me. A helmet that's able to adapt to different conditions and rider moods is a winner for me. It looks pretty good too.

Finally! I was waiting on this review! What does the helm weight when I remove the peak? And what does it weight when I remove the peak and the chin bar?
Great Review! Can you get replacement liner with thinner cheek pads? Or is it possible to adjust the thickness of the cheek pads that come with the standard liner?
Thank you! I think you want to know if you need to size up compared to other brands. There should be no need to size up with the Nolan since it's fairly true to size. However, it's always good to double check and measure your head against the size chart for the helmet you want!

Amazing style of reviewing helmets! Very informative video and good system. I hope that you will add the LS2 Explorer on the list as well.

Finally! I was waiting on this review! What does the helm weight when I remove the peak? And what does it weight when I remove the peak and the chin bar?
Great to hear! The helmet without the peak weights 1760 gram. And the helmet without the peak and the chin-bar weights 1568 gram.

Thank you Martijn. As with most helmets, it is possible to change the inner lining. Note that with use, the lining on the sides may sag a bit.
Very interesting review! I noticed that the Nolan helmet is one decibel louder then the ADX-2, does 1 decibel really make a difference?
Hi Joost, 1 decibel doesn’t sound much but every decibel at these values makes a significant difference to the riders ear.
How is the Airoh poor in ventilation when it made the most temperature difference ie the coolest temp amongst your test helmets?
Very interesting! What is it like on the highway at speed while wearing the peak?
Hello Tarik, while wearing the peak you will obviously lose some stability at speed. It will be much more stable with the peak removed.
Good review guys! Compared to other brands do I need to up the brand?

Great vid. Is it really safe to ride without a chin-bar?
Thank you! The Nolan N70-2x is P/J certified so it is safe to ride without the chin-bar!
The ESS system sounds awesome, how does the ESS System works?
Hi, the ESS is an LED light installed at the back of the helmet that lights up if you brake to increase your presence on the road!
Why does the icon Variant Pro and the Airoh Commander get extra stars because of the outer shell size?
Hi, the more outer shell sizes the helmet has the better. A Compact helmet is safer so it earns extra stars for material!
AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC MAGICAL ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Does the chin bar offer any protection
Yes, it offers protection of your chin
Does the helmet has a double D closure or a micrometric closure?
Hi Kay, the helmet has a micrometric closure
Ls2 mx701 explorer???
What is the fitment of the helmet?
Hi Floris, the helmet has a round-oval fit!
you are really difficult to understand, especially when you pronounce other names.
