Thanks for the extra tips and knowledge! I appreciate it so much. Helps to have an idea of what to expect. I went to Italy for a month and people’s videos helped so much. So I’m grateful to all of you who make these videos about your trips and take the time to respond! I also have been trying to find a good sunscreen so thanks!
Yesss! We thought the same way. Great to be able to get a visual understanding to help plan things you want or don’t want! The sun screen haha…. Just having some fun there. I have no affiliation with them, I just think that people need to stop rubbing chemicals on their biggest organ and also not pollute the waters as much as possible. Anyways, I’m glad you are getting some insight from all of this and I know you are going to have a great holiday there! You may not want to leave!
when did you guys go? It says you posted 4 days ago. but I'm asking because of the weather. It seems pretty good for wet season. I saw the Christmas tree so I'm wondering which month you were actually there.
This was early December. I am a bit behind on editing because I was without decent internet for quite a while. Trying to work on ubud video right now. It was also rainy season at that time but we had very good luck during our trip and only got caught in bad storms a few times.
On the Gili islands it seemed like most of the stormy weather originated on Lombok and would briefly make its way to the islands but didn’t seem to last long. In Ubud, there were some extremely heavy rainfalls but we only really had one full day where we were caught in it. And it was like a monsoon. The drainage in the streets was overflowing…. No proper sidewalks, cars splashing you…. We carried an emergency poncho everywhere and I definitely used it that day to protect the camera but we just embraced it haha. It’s so hot and humid that you sweat profusely if you wear a poncho, so either way you’re getting wet. But it wasn’t every day for us so we didn’t mind. I’m not sure which months get the most rain but I was told it is common in Ubud to see rain 2-3 days a week during rainy season. You are going to have a great time regardless of weather! Swimming in the rain is fun too!
IF you have T mobile you get free data unlimited texting call for .25 cent per minute. We have traveled 14 countries and it has been good in all. No extra charge just the international travel on your phone.
Thank you!

Awesome. Thanks. Doesn’t look as bad as I was thinking it could get. I’m sure it’s just luck of the draw. Great videos!
