(Discount has ended) Hello everyone! I put a lot of time in this video and even more into the powergrade, I use it for all my videos so if you want similar color grading you can find the powergrade using the link below: cinesource.nl/products/realfilm-powergrade/
Crazy powergrade🔥 As a professional colorist and someone who teaches color grading a lot, I can only embrace this powergrade. I will leave my in depth honest opinion on it very soon!🚀
Love hearing that, that's exactly why I post these videos! I have plenty of more videos in the making. The A7iii is such a powerful camera. You can get amazing images out of it. I've had mine since it initially came out and I still use it currently as my B-cam. It does not disappoint. 🙌
Explaining how every part of the powergrade works would be a very very long video. Most of the features I have separate videos about in my channel already so it would be a lot of work for information that is already out there. Appreciate the support man! 🙌
Thank you for purchasing our product! It works with any color profile you can put into the "CST in" node. Apple LOG is supported in DaVinci Resolve version 18.6 and higher! So in short, yes. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
@Omtommyom Hey! I don't own an Iphone 15 nor do I know anyone who does. I'll be searching for proper test footage online and make videos on it once I find it. But as of now I don't have any examples yet.
@Ramita111 Not entirely true, some phones that shoot LOG have the dynamic range to get similar looks to cameras. But if you embrace the lower dynamic range on cheaper phones it still looks really good in its own way. You just have to go with the fact that it's lower quality and is going to look like 8mm home film.
Do you need to have da vinci studio for this to work or will it work on the free version? Theae grades look amazing! Very interested to try it out for myself
The powergrade ships with two versions now (watch the update V2 video on my channel). One for the studio version and one for the free version of resolve! 🙌
If you shoot slog-3 + sgamut3.cine you can follow the supplied step by step tutorial to get the results you want. Just make sure your slog settings are proper and you're not shooting in s-cinetone for example.
Hello! I understand what you're saying, but I cannot adjust the price any lower. We are already on the low end of powergrades and with the high food and housing prices in our own country we have to keep it realistic. You can however get 10% off using an affiliate code of one of our affiliates for example the code: 'Buzz1n10' or wait till we have a sale again on a holiday. Besides that I have plenty of tutorials on my channel to teach you how to color grade by yourself which are completely free.
I know this is a late comment but any idea why sometimes wen applying the powergrade my footage looks highly saturated in red? Do I just have to bring the saturation down?
It's because of the way the manual halation works sadly, it looks more realistic when you don't have any reds but when you do it kind of fs them up. You could go into the LOOK node and drag down the sat of red before it reaches the halation although there isn't really any work around that's proper unless you want to use the Halation effect instead of the manual one.
ayy so sick dude! Using cineprint 16 rn but thinking of getting this one also. I know the grain node won't work in the free version of davinci. Are there any other nodes that don't work in the free version without the davinci watermark?
Thank you! Yeah this is a more subtle and movie-like powergrade compared to Cineprint16. Cineprint16 is quite a stylized look and thus is very recognizable which of course has its own use cases. As for the nodes that don't work in the free version: grain, dust, and halation. But grain and dust can be replaced with overlays. In the future I'll release an update for owners and new buys of the product that supplies a version of the grade made for the free version of DaVinci automatically replacing those nodes with overlay mattes. Should be out next month 🙌
I've just bought your power grade, but all of my images are becoming very dark and I have a very hard time to lighten them up again. Can you help me out?
You can Google to get a deeper understanding of why you might want to use it and my latest video is about how you can do this specific effect for free with a DCTL!

When I saw your grades I had my doubts for a moment, but those colors are so insane, I bought it now!
Hope you like it! Let me know if you have any questions! 🙌💚
Man. your knowledge on color is huge. amazing video and powergrade
Appreciate it! Trying my best to share it with everyone. Took me a long time to gather this knowledge. Although there is always more to learn! 🙌
Thanks, you’re a genius!!
No problem 🙌
You have some real talent
Appreciate it! 🫶

Just purchased. Looking great! Thanks
Appreciate the support and I am glad you are liking the results so far. Let me know if you have any questions!
@@edouhoekieThanks, What settings do you prefer to use for the FX3 shot in Sony S-log.3 cine. For the in and out CST's?
@Nynex The standard settings of the powergrade are meant for Slog-3 + S-gamut3.cine! So if you expose the FX3 to 1.3-1.7 stops it should look good!
very well explained. People should really not underestimate this power grade 🔥🎥
I try my best to be clear and constructive!
@@edouhoekie Changing the game with top-notch products is our goal! 🥳
🙌🔥
This is obviously advanced coz he went straight to features and didnt show how he got there. I still enjoyed every bit of it

Nice tutorial, Edou! Really great explanations. Super insightful stuff 🙌
Apreciate it! 🙌
Outstanding video 🔥
Appreciate it! 🙌
Just bought it. Looks pretty good so far but I am wondering why my version has the SOFT-HI & HALATION order flipped. Mine goes HALATION > SOFT-HI
Appreciate the support, on my channel you can find a video about the V2 update where I explained how it was changed. It will cover that briefly. 🙌
can you share the exact HLG3 settings you have used in your website showcasing this powergrade?
My camera settings are f1.8, 1/50 shutter and 1600-3200 ISO. For my picture profile I didn't change much besides:
HLG3
BT2020 (rec2020)
-7 sharpness
I just bought this 👍 is this working on iphone 15 pro max prores log footage ? 🤔

I just realized that i didnt used the coupon to buy this node grade 🥲 i think as a tips for good product 🫶
Hi@@edouhoekie looking for buying this powergrade, can you make a tutor or preview clip using iPhone log video? Cheers!
@Omtommyom Hey! I don't own an Iphone 15 nor do I know anyone who does. I'll be searching for proper test footage online and make videos on it once I find it. But as of now I don't have any examples yet.
where can I get leaks like at the beginning of the video?
Dude, show us how to do it with an smartphone 1080 mp4 footage. That's what humanity needs.
In one of my upcoming videos I actually used the powergrade on phone footage haha, I'll make a video about it for sure!
It can’t be done, simple. There is no Dynamic range in smartphone footage.

@@edouhoekie oh that is awesome, thanks for letting me know. Just found the other video!
@Stokesmachine You're welcome! 🤗
Will this also work with the fx30? Do I need to tweak anything if I shoot in slog 3?
If you shoot slog-3 + sgamut3.cine you can follow the supplied step by step tutorial to get the results you want. Just make sure your slog settings are proper and you're not shooting in s-cinetone for example.
Can you please make a price to accommodate us who are from outside of Europe coz it cost more on this side please 😢

@Zen-cd6up No worries! They are all from Artlist.io if you're wondering where to find them for your video work. (Not sponsored 🤣)
I just think cineprint is way too drastic and over the top, this seems a little better
That was my goal with creating this powergrade. I am currently working on a version 3 that will improve upon all known issues and improve usability.
Did not understand the subtractive color part….
You can Google to get a deeper understanding of why you might want to use it and my latest video is about how you can do this specific effect for free with a DCTL!
just watched it! thank you bro!@@edouhoekie
