Great tutorial! Just a quick note for the CST section of the video...Tom Bolles actually sets the output color space and gamut to the Arri standard as the powergrade itself is built around the Arri color science. Much like the Phantom LUTS by Joel Famularo...except a powergrade is a much more complex object than a simple LUT. So idk if you're doing the Rec.709 output as a personal preference...just wanted to point out the powergrade is actually built around the ARRI color science. And within that you can make changes to the grading. Thanks for the vid!
Yo bro thank you for posting this up man! I have been learning Davinci for few months now and this really broke it down how to colour grade! Thank you bro!
Really appriciate what your doing. Following you because of tiktok. Why do you correct the image in the first node if you afterwards apply cineprint? This correction will get lost right?
Once downloaded, you have to drag the DRX file (CinePrint16_FilmEmu_V2_Q.drx) into the color grade panel in davinci. In the top right corner of the color grade panel, you will see the word gallery. Click on that, and you will see a box come up; right-click on the box and press import.
Hi bro, Great video, I'm learning English so I don't understand everything perfectly but it's very interesting and I'll be able to try it on my videos ! good luck for the future 💪

yes ,it's just good practice when color grading I guess, a lot of other colorgrades requires that first step, but yes you are right
Goatedd 🥳💪🏽
How'd you learn all this? Just like a trail and error type of thing?
I takes some time to learn everything, Its a-lot of trial and error, learning from other people. but if you commit to learning, It wont be hard.
@@GyasiImmanuel what camera settings do you use? I'm trying to find the best way to shoot in S-Log 2
In SLog 2 the only things I change is the
color mode: S- Gamut3.Cine
Detail: -2
Sometimes I play around with the saturation by increasing to 10
