Continuing my series about what it feels like to have dementia, this discussion covers the affect of change (in the form of travel) while having dementia.
Excellent talk and subject. My husband used to travel the world when he worked and loved our trips after retirement but now he suffers with dementia. We stayed at a nice lodge last 4th of July for two nights. He didn’t do well-it was so bad i realized that would be our last overnight(s) trip- being 21 years younger (me) this new life is very difficult for me but I’m coping
Don't need to have dementia to benefit from this talk. Evaluating what's causing discomfort can help anyone make better choices toward being positive. Thanks Ted.
Thank you for this INCREDIBLY selfless endeavor.
Thank you very much.

Thanks, you’re so right. Sometimes we’re uncomfortable with changes and we are not even sure quite why.
Thank you so much for giving this insight!
Ted, your transparency, teachings, and clear personal descriptions/insights are very helpful.
Thank you. Herb
