Can you even imagine how genuinely amazing the game and campaign would have been if the games nowadays weren't centered around Warzone ? Operator Skin this, Warzone Cinematic that. Hey remember the campaign? Who freaking cares about that anymore right? Throw in a bit of creativity, make it all a prologue about Warzone and do it again next year.
I wish warzone would just die soon cuz I'm sick and tired of seeing it ruin cod. They can't even make a proper game anymore, the discs have no data on em and everything needs to be downloaded from the store and you can't even have fun against bots offline.
Not a fan of the campaigns now implementing warzone mechanics in the campaigns now. But with the praise it got from this campaign, they're definitely going to double down on it
Except this was by far so much better, wasn’t shit and Bricky instead didn’t even attempt to try it out and sped ran it then complained about something he didn’t even do and see how the content actually was
It does not change the fact that it's still centered around warzone....like brother the last cod we had to have an actual finished campaign was WWII😐@@Eon233
There's a messed up, but funny moment in the mission Emergence. When a group of 'Woods' are running to you, there's 1 'Woods' that's crawling to you with his legs attached.
I thought that moment was cool because when you enter that hallway a wheelchair creepily enters into frame and when you leave all the zombies are Woods
Bro, I just replayed that mission for the safe that I missed and I thought I had shot his leg off, was laughing my ass off. So funny that it’s just in the game like that normally.
Yeah I was super confused about that meme. I know it's haha or whatever, but if your meme has a critique of something in it, at least have it be correct? Bricky hasn't done what the meme describes since he started this era of reviews. The critique is just false.
@@moopey1837 The critique comes from when you have video essayist create something called "The Game: a retrospective" and it's just spending an hour and a half repeating the story with little additional value.
I swear that Raven just want to return to making wacky FPS', like back when they did Wolfenstein '09 and Singularity, and these COD levels are a cry for help
I swear every dev has their own version of that cry for help in this series. Like when Vanguard just gave up and gave us the EM1 and Menendez. Everyone wants to cook but they get put in these regimented boxes. "WW2 this year, then you do whatever you wa-OOPS, cancel that, daddy Microsoft wants a new MW game, chop chop!"
@@superharuhifan I don't work there, but I can promise the devs absolutely care, this campaign being filled with great ideas and zombies being great again, all shows the devs care But care not, Activision requires Warzone integration so you better not innovate to much or you might just alienate the poor warzone players and they won't buy the next $70 expansion pack
23:50 In regard to Felix, I actually played through the section as him without killing anyone because I didn’t know you could until I saw your play-through. Going through the mission I walked up behind a dude, saw no prompt, then got caught and killed. Then I went “Oh, he’s a pacifist, I can’t kill as him. That’s pretty neat.” It was a little bit of a pain when it came to hacking the computer for the key card and then the alarm going off, but I did it. I was on veteran, in case that makes any difference. I really thought they intentionally made it so you couldn’t kill as him.
Me too, it was saddened by the fact that I felt like I had to kill people on order to proceed as I try to sneak around and always they caught me and I try not to kill them because I thought it would failed the mission, but nah, at the end the alarm goes off either way so I figure that it wouldn't mattered at the end as I would have to kill them either way, still I kinda want to try it without killing anyone might be neat to see.
in defence of felix in high rollers mission, you can see that the games explain his change in tactics. and I even managed to not kill anyone on felixs stealth portion. Felix also mentioned that he is conflicted on his morals due to observing the bad things the guards did in the high rollers mission.
Yeah I like the fact we see what made him snap before he does. Like to us it was just a normal interrogation. But to him it was important, an innocent man being violated and controlled because people wanted to show power and that made him snap
As someone who grew up on the highmoon Transformers games as a kid, seeing that logo on the launch of BO6 is like seeing your highschool sweetheart a decade after graduation and theyre a completely, deeply traumatized person who you barely even recognized. Like Texas finding the Alpha at the end of Revelations in RvB
I remember the first time I heard of Highmoon and it was because they had a game where you could play as a cowboy vampire and it was fuckin' awesome. I had an OXM demo disc with that first level on it and I played it over and over because I could never find a physical copy of the game. I miss demos being a thing.
@@skuzzyj Ah, Darkwatch. You brought up memories. I'm somewhat happy that High Moon Studios is still kicking around, Darkwatch 2 though is (likely for the best) never to arrive, as well as the film. You are right about demo discs, I loved those things from Playstation Magazine, along with the kickass music.
Man I hate vids like these that criticize a game because the moron making the vid was too stupid not to understand what was happening or just wasn’t paying attention
Nope, he saw both that and the conversation after the mission, they mishandled Felix snapping so much by allowing full lethal takedowns in his section.
@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodc8475 nah it made sense for his character and him explaining to sev afterwards about seeing the powerless tortured. He is ex-stasi, so his propensity for violence is very high when let loose as we see him do so in the fi al mission, however his heart itself has shifted. He was shielded from having the experience this side of himself by being the tech guy. In the field he can't hide from it as easily especially after seeing things for himself, and now he has to deal with the idea is it okay to kill to protect the world he now loves, or return to his method of not directly doing violence
My favorite safe house moment from BO6 has to be about halfway through the game, woods is sitting in the piano room, and you can talk to him and he confides in case about mason being gone, and about how once all of this is over taking up the reigns and raising David as a way of honoring Mason. (with a nice hint- hint- nudge- nudge- about David/Section saving the world from the drone attacks) Its, so small, but imo it really goes to show just how much Mason means to woods and allows for them to really smoothly reference the main character of BO2 while also building out woods character with his worries of being a father and grieving the loss of not only his best friend but also his own life in a way.
They shouldn’t have made Harrow a Pantheon agent. Not only because she was not set up well enough to be a twist villain, not only because the twist itself seemed pretty out of character (ik that the whole shtick with spies is that they can fake it really well, but it just didn’t work narratively compared to other double agents like Salazar) but they missed a HUGE opportunity. Imagine having a mission where you play as Harrow sneaking around the CIA HQ in order to gather intel for Marshall’s team, just like with Belikov sneaking in the Lubyanka Building in Cold War. That way not only would the game have more opportunity to flesh out Harrow herself, but also flesh out Livingstone AND Jackson Caine as characters, ESPECIALLY Caine. That way the reveal of Caine at the very end would be less “wtf is that” to “oh shit it was HIM”.
As for Case, they should not have made him mute like Bell, because his backstory really warrants Case to have a voice. He was experimented on and tortured by The Pantheon for their Cradle experiment. Unlike Bell, who is a brainwashed agent from Perseus and has some lingering loyalty to them, Case DESPISES Pantheon. Like he gets triggered like a “woke” liberal whenever anyone mentions Pantheon or The Cradle to him. The way he brutally executes Pantheon elites (bashing a juggernaut’s head in, snapping necks of Pantheon agents, etc) and the way he was willing to throw Gusev into the jet engine. The fact that MANY players didn’t get that from Case in their playthroughs, assuming he is either a brainwashed Pantheon agent or Bell or Mason, means that they did not convey Case as a character successfully.
@edadankmemes I feel like Case being Mute was the right choice. As much as you di t get to make basically any actual choices as him, it let's you interpret things instead of Case telling you what he thinks. Maybe he could've had alot more yelling during his Cradle Cocaine binge like Menendez when u pkay as him, but I feel like him being mute made him a better character. If Case was a talker, it would just be "I hate Pantheon" "Pantheon bad" or just anytime anyone asks him abt Pantheon he can't say anything anyway. Him being mute makes sense
@@edadankmemes ngl I generally vibe more with silent brutality, like hiw master chief doesn't really grunt often iirc and doomguy literally has one line consisting of one word
@@edadankmemeswould make sense for Case to be all screams in a secretive CIA group, in the Casino mission not only is he alone until shit really hits the fan, but he is the only one not sneaking around, actively killing people until security finds him, to which when he escapes he immediately starts killing again. Honestly, imagine the “breaking out of the torture” thing in the Casino, but Case is laughing manically as he breaks free and stabs the guy.
Warzone: "No, don't kill anyone off, we're going to make them into marketable plushies!" Starcraft Coop: "Tychus, Mengsk, and Zeratul are dead? Put them in anyway, it'll be fun!"
@blueberet0 Not sure what you mean by "Mengsk's coop missions". The coop missions take place vaguely during the war with Amon, i.e. in the middle of the LotV campaign. Mengsk's propaganda ships even has a line claiming he's not a clone as a reference to the fact he's dead.
@@valdonchev7296 oh whoops my mistake. I thought the coop missions were taking place during the events of wings of liberty, not after. Damn I guys blizzard really didn’t care about continuity errors did they?
You know Bricky, you didn't have to kill those guys as Felix, you can go through his whole part and not kill anyone, changes the cutscene there are the end too. He doesn't smash the guy to bits if you sneak
The problem with it is you sneak up on a guy thinking you can knock him out then Felix just kills him, like why can't you do a nonlethal takedown at all?
@@truc_e You know what is also a choice? For the developers to program in a non-lethal take-down option for Felix. It's not much of a choice if I am given a rubber hammer only to find out that when I hit someone with it that it was real the whole time.
I dont think people praise Cold War's story enough. That story was so fun to play. That awesome mind fuck level where you could spend the entire time doing the opposite of what Adler wanted, basically you were fighting against your programing, and he kept changing the story to try and get the information from you was so satisfying to play.
The Emergence mission almost strikes me as Raven going "hey remember when we used to make weird stuff like 'Singularity?'" And that's definitely not a bad thing at all.
So for Perseus in Cold War, in WZ (you were right), it’s revealed Perseus is an ideal, an organization, and a leader. Stitch (the seasonal MP villain) took up the mantle of Perseus after the former leader (shown in the campaign) died of cancer offscreen. Adler (who had been brainwashed by Stitch) ends up killing him
It is revealed in the campaign in one of the endings - the campaign’s Perseus says that Americans are [something something], they cannot fathom the idea that Perseus is a concept, an idea, not a single man.
Harrow has so little screentime on purpose, as a setup for a big meta-joke: She'll return in BO7, and when asked how she didn't die in that helicopter, she has the "I was never in that game" line.
I wanna give respects to Jack Wall, Black Ops Cold War and 6 composer, for going absolutely hard in these tracks even knowing its for a CoD campaign, if you wanna be reminded that these games have talented people behind it that are probably being shoved down by their corporates overloads, listen to these games original soundtracks
@@caderiesenberg9615 Even if you don't personally liked it, you need to recognize it had vision and creativity. for example just like Bricky explains in the video of how Bell's theme is a heroic russian chorus which foreshadows that he is a russian soldier and the interrogation theme is a portal esq eletronic somber to represent the MK Ultra stuff that slowly transitions into his main theme
@@Girlthatgotsweeptbybarrons Nah you right bo6 goes as hard as waw b01 ost sean and this guy cooks like sean it tastes of sean xd the credit rap track aswell
Some complaints I have: I wish the safe house had more secrets In the dessert open world mission, I expected the real Delta Force squad to be an obstacle you had to avoid, but instead, you helped them out, and there's no consequences In the science lab mission, I was also expecting all of the zombies to be real people. It would've been really interesting to see how the crew reacted to Case slaughtering an entire facility. The voice in your head should've stayed around for the rest of the game instead of this mission and the hideout segment after. Felix killing people should've been a big plot point. Jane's LSD trip lasted way too long.
I think that all the zombies are meant to be real people, as if you look at the zombies they flicker to other appearances (mostly soldiers) and the "Voice" says you released the Cradle on all the facility so everyone would've been infected by it (how they survived for so long would be another question)
I mean Felix was angry because he saw the two doods punching that other guy's head in. He even said that triggered him. Makes sense for his character to get really angry at that...
To be honest to be the devil's advocate, the open world level actually has lots of dialogues while you do all the side quests, which I found very entertaining
That is a plus side to that, but I think Bricky’s main complaint is the mission gameplay isn’t interesting enough to encourage getting all that extra dialogue
the idea of the mission itself is a cool concept to begin with really, since its pretty much just them showing you how the SAS carried out Operation Granby. Granby consisted mostly of reconnaissance missions and raids on Scud launchers and communications sites, which is for the most part what you do in this mission.
@@MatthewCSnow he's not wrong either. i put myself through that level and it definitely wasn't fun exploring a barren map. all the side objectives aren't even that valuable anyways so it doesn't feel worth it to complete every objective.
31:31 My favourite part of this recontextualisation of the character creator is the existence of the gender option. Like, Bell must've had a gender before, but since the character creator lets you pick any, it implies the CIA (potentially) decided to trans Bell's gender purely because why the fuck not. Like, the fact that the CIA has taken this Russian soldier, is brainwashing them into a new person, and just decides "y'know what, fuck it, let's make em Non-binary" is amazing
@MrBigCheese8202 Exactly, reminds me of that meme where it says smth like "When it's the year 2067 and someone cuts you off in traffic so you use your flipper zero on their neuralink chip to turn them gender dysphoric"
Ok, but to be fair, Adler in BO6 will execute unarmed people and make jokes when you do it, so deciding to add being non-binary to somebody’s brainwashing purely for the heck of it would be pretty in character.
26:00 Personally, I can't stand the fact that bullet sponge enemies (juggernauts for example) are now a constant thing in Call of Dutys and I have to stack armors.
I was actually hoping for a throwaway line about this. "These pantheon guys have some weird experimental ceramic armor. Never seen it before, we better be careful." Would have been so easy, but eh
I like them from a gameplay perspective. Having a variety of enemies with a bunch of health, or a scary gun, or a special move that disables you adds a strategic element of target prioritisation to the combat loop. You can balance the pros and cons of taking out a bunch of weaker enemies before or after focusing on the big guy. It's kind of like choosing between shooting the grunts or the elites in Halo or choosing when to get damage on a big demon in Doom Eternal. I find it a more engaging way of increasing the level of challenge over never ending spawns and grenade spam like they did in Call of Duty 4-5.
Something like the Juggs would have jsut been like a Mini Bosses in the middle or end of a set piece. But because of warzone they are literally everywhere and it sucks.
Gotta familiarize you with those Warzone mechanics, in case you haven't been properly indoctrinat- I mean "introduced" to this game mode that is now an unfortunate mainstay in the franchise.
i know this isnt the developers Bricky is talking about with the title, but I won't forgive Activision for what they did to high moon studios, who cooked the two best transformers games of all time, and got 'rewarded' by being sent to the call of duty mines, never to be heard from again.
High Moon also did some Destiny content inbetween when Bungie was with them and their stuff like " Warmind" was some of the best stuff the game had. They understand the assignments.
Wasn't the "breaking point" of Felix being him seeing what was perceived as an innocent man getting beat up during the Casino mission? You can outright miss what he's referring to as it's in the small space in the room you pass through from the high roller area to the servers, although a guard is standing in the way to somewhat block the view. This is something you see before you get into the restricted area and can takedown people.
If you wait, long enough in the hunting mission, taking out the scud missiles Marshall will ask Adler how he got his scar and he’ll tell another bullshit story
@@MightandLight I'd actually love if that was the case, a badass super spy having a distinctive scar he got by tripping over while taking the bins out one time is hilarious and humanizing
Honestly I actually really like that Case being a super soldier isn't expanded upon outside of "Emergence". I like the idea that case was marked up as a "failed" experiment but ended up being a extremely dangerous weapon that remained loyal and who's origins remained completely hidden to everyone around them. Basically Case is one of the few times in the series where we see the CIA's evil shenanigans work in the end I also actually like Felix's full character arc. At the end of the game he seems to realize that violence is not something purely used for oppression like he says in one of the earlier conversations but rather that it can also be a equalizer used to protect those that should not have harm done to them. It also brings his comment about your operation being a "Necessary Evil" full circle where he doesn't enjoy violence but finds it necessary to use it against people who would use violence on people who do not deserve it
Not to um actually, but the guy at the end, hacking into Livingstons computer is the same dude in the interrogation room at the beginning of the campaign, who people are assuming is Jackson Cain, the MP operator. Some people think that maybe it was actually Case at the end, but it can’t be, because the guy is also one of the CIA guys that come in looking for you in Most Wanted (as you are playing as Case)
@@saintjimmy_ajhHe’s the guy who gets his eye gouged out in the mission. I think that last reveal is Jackson Caine, just that this scene happened way before the game even started.
I don't really have any evidence to back this up but i think the reason they got together both the MW and BO universes together into one is because the end of the Aether story in BO4 Zombies actually makes it so that the whole universe is sent to the Dark Aether except for one dimension, which is where Samantha and Eddie (characters from BO Zombies) end up after the ending, being the dimension they are in on BO Cold War Zombies and BO6 Zombies, so i like to imagine the reason they are joining both MW and BO into one timeline is because of Zombies, which is insane to me.
I think its a combination of that and Warzone. Black Ops 4 showed that there were still a ton of people that would buy just to play Zombies, and the inclusion of Blackout was almost like testing the waters to see if they could have their own Fortnite given the expansive universe they've built. I think the MW reboots were just the franchise's way of having an excuse to reuse characters so they could justify having them in Warzone because it's their money-making baby. Same for Zombies. Like why would we need Brutus (who is a zombie) and Klaus (who is a robot) as Operators, except to pander to Zombies fans as if we were puppies.
honestly, i thought that the only reason why the new MW timeline just got incorporated into the BO timeline was exclusively bc of warzone, the way cold war got both made and was integrated just stenches of "activision told treyarch to make it like warzone so they could make more money", with activision NOT getting the memo that treyarch intended to continue the black ops timeline, but by the time the call was made, it was too late to change the campaign, essentially forcing the BO and MW timelines together by accident.
They got the MW and BO universes together because of Warzone. That's it. If you completely disregard WZ, Modern Warfare was rebooted but BO wasn't. You see Zahkaev in Cold War but he may as well be the original Zakhaev, not Warzone Zakhaev.
Cold War’s campaign was underrated and over-hated. Been playing it again after playing BO6’s campaign and I love it. The grime of East Berlin, the ruggedness of the Vietnam missions, the aura of the Kremlin mission. the missions honestly looked better in cold war and I don’t understand how a four year old game did it better.
39:20 It was revealed in a Warzone cutscene that the Perseus you saw in the bad ending of Cold War died from cancer in 1983. Another missed opportunity was in Warzone 1 Adler was kidnapped by the person who took Perseus’s place and was brainwashed just like Mason was in Bo1. Mason and Hudson broke his brainwashing in the same way Mason was interrogated in Bo1. Adler then killed the person who kidnapped him in the final cutscene in Warzone 1 Cold War storyline. They never mentioned Adler’s brainwashing at all in the campaign or his time kidnapped.
Felix is shown to be struggling with adhering to his new philosophies, and I think with more time and expanded dialogue, especially utilizing the mansion and it's "interrogation" room, would've absolutely have made for an unforgettable character. But like you said they dropped the ball at the end and made his relapse really jarring especially if you went the extra mile to not kill anyone as him.
I like to imagine Reagan munching some Doritos in the White House as the CIA brief him on the ‘Sadam Hussein Baby Assassination Plot’ and him whistling “Hot damn, we do that?”
Fun fact: You can actually successfully sneak through Felix's section in High Rollers without killing anyone. This way, when he actually kills the one guard at the vault it feels more impactful instead of "Guard kill number 5" in the mission. I was quite proud in doing that and I am sad that the game had no achievement for it. That said, I enjoyed playing Black Ops 6 overall. I do feel like they dropped the ball at several points where it could've been better, but I at least had fun with it. I really wish Harrow's missions at the same end choice that Black Ops 5 had where you could choose to side with the characters you know or with the enemy (Pantheon) that you've been seeking to stop. They had a good thing going here, and I really do feel like they missed a few marks. Loved the mission in Kentucky with the zombies and the Cradle, wish we had more background on the Voice. Hope the next Call of Duty will be better, I really do. They're fun to play when they take the time to craft their campaigns, and I never touched Black Ops 4 because it lacked a campaign.
Having replayed it now, I think it's the best gameplay in a CoD campaign in probably *more* than 5 years. You're completely overpowered and have pockets full of fun tools to use in a sandbox. Hunting down heavies and taking away their guns is awesome. The ending still sucks, but it's better if I see it as Woods completely gaslighting Harrow while she's suggestible and it was in fact Adler that did the killing 😂
39:50 Respawn Entertainment (Jason West/Vince Zampella) actually did this, broke away and created a studio that debuted with a fantastic IP that's now been completely ruined by the Fortnite-ification that plagues the genre, so even if Raven/Treyarch/SHG manage to break free of CoD and ATVI as a whole, I have no faith that they'll succeed in this current form of the industry
The last time a group of devs left CoD we got Titanfall 1/2, which is bittersweet cuz Titanfall 2 was pretty stellar but then they made Apex which killed any and all potential for campaigns from them and not to mention recently Apex is uh....has stuff going on
To be fair, Apex was a passion project by the devs at Respawn. It did feel that way too up until half the original Respawn devs left after they released the third map.
After emergence there’s false dialogue option with Woods where Case tries to confess, but something (maybe part of his experimenting?) makes him just stare at Woods. Woods even makes a statement about Case just standing there zoned out.
the ending felt so, abrupt. They were building up so something great with Case, I was even expecting some reveal with Woods being 'antagonistic' to Case, due to him appearing in the hallucinations, since iirc none of the other crew show up in them. It really feels like a last minute rewrite
I am 33 years old and Emergence made me tear up with how well that fucking mission is. '117' blasting in the background brought back COUNTLESS HOURS of Kino Der Untoten and It was so fucking good I cant help but continue to gush over it
Interesting thing I found out recently when playing as Adler in BO6 zombies if you get a headshot Adler will sometimes say “do you mind if I call you Bell”
If Warzone doesn't have the decency to die out, Call of Duty should have the decency to make it a spin-off. They could save themselves from the immense amount of issues its yearly integration causes, and save us from CoD games centred around Warzone.
with this being my first cod campaign ive ever played, i had only heard of how bad some of the campaigns were. I didnt have much hope in this one but i was super happy with this campaign especially from an outside perspective with no idea of how each character will remain by the end.
to add to the bell's theme the very first two lines of the lyrics in russian are "kto ja?" "shto ja?" literally meaning "who am I" "what am I" so it plays even more to the theme of you being changed through MKUltra
You really can kinda tell Bricky played Cold War on release and just dropped it lmao. The Mimics were an enemy introduced in Firebase Z, the second Zombies map of the game. Disciples (the crazy warlock dude) were introduced in Mauer Der Toten, the third map.
As someone who is a big Cold War fan, it was kinda disheartening to hear that. I get that the game wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but like idk I feel if you’re gonna replay the games campaign you might as well check out the rest of what was added after launch. Hell if I remember correctly the seasonal cutscenes were added to the games theater in the barracks. I’m also hoping he goes into detail on his opinions on zombies either as a main channel video or a side channel stream compilation.
Felix LITERALLY SAYS WHEN HES AT THE BARREL FIRE “I saw them hurting innocent people. And I snapped” there’s LITERALLY an explanation as to why he’s killing people when you get to play as him. Bro didn’t talk to any of the people in the safe house
First off he did watch that conversation, second, being able to do the kinds of extremely violent takedowns (on SEVERAL dudes) the game allows BEFORE him snapping and smashing the guard is extremely stupid and severely lessens the impact of that scene. It just wasn't done well, give him slower, less efficient non-lethal takedowns (or none at all) so you're actually taken by surprise when it happens.
@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodc8475 or less precise and he just goes ham beating the shit out of the first guy you "takedown" then the rest can be more precise
It's a conversation you can't interact with, you just have to stand there so he might have missed it. Edit: nvm there's footage from that scene there's no way he missed that.
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodc8475 I'm pretty sure you can only do the takedowns in the restricted area, which is after you see that guy getting beaten.
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodc8475 The man being beaten happens before the restricted section where you can use takedowns. You choosing to stealth kill guards is Felix snapping.
One thing I appreciate from the campaign is how the safehouse conversations between characters just happen, and I can choose to stick around and listen or just leave. It makes the characters much more interesting to learn about when the game doesn't take away my controls and spoonfeed me story.
To say something about desert storm, I live methodically hunting down every enemy there, and picking up the tools to have more fun with it was fantastic. I believe the sandbox gives a refreshing dynamic. Its not about the set peice, its about hunting.
37:19 It's even better: Lazar is still alive in BOCW, because he became a selectable operator for MP and Warzone during Cold War's final season. The choice there *literally* does not matter because neither of them end up dead. The only one who dies is Bell, and Perseus (whose grave we discover at the end of BOCW's Warzone seasonal cutscenes).
Lazar being added wasn't canon. If he was canon he'd be in one of the seasonal cutscenes (as those continued the story) but instead he was added at the END of season 6 right before Vanguard released
Not sure if Bricky will see this comment, but I wanted to share. There is this theory roaming around that Case and Bell are the same person. The theory is based on the timeline, with Adler beginning to work as part of the research facility that case was experimented on. BO6 takes place in 1991, and it says that Case was experimented on 10 years ago. This lines up with the same year that Adler joined the facility, 1981. Cold War also conveniently ends canonically around the same time. The theory is that after the events of Cold War, Adler takes Bell to the facility and the ending cutscene where he kills Bell is not a physical killing, but rather an implanted memory so that the consciousness of Bell can be "Killed off" and William "Case" Calderon can become his brand new identity. There is also a detail that is hard to notice, but every time The Cradle or Pantheon is name dropped, Case has a momentary visual reaction. This happens one time outside of those instances, specifically when Adler orders Case to dispose of Dr. Gusev. It could be a hint at the trigger that Bell used to have whenever Adler gave him his order phrase.
I just think that Adler was involved in Cradle, probably brainwashing or setting up the brainwashing of Case, and that Bell is the clue that he is used to this, same with having the injection for Harrow. I thought the Mannequins looked a bit like Adler and in Harrow's one at one of the security gates when you turn round the mannequin has his hand up like he's smoking. Could all be coincidence, a clue, or a false lead.
I must have spent 20 minutes in that final helicopter QTE thinking if i didnt act or did some secret i could save Harrow or resist the cradle but no. They just loop animations forever. You HAVE to fight her. Theres no choice.
Regarding Case's death: there is a way the writers may bring him back, without triggering "I was never in that tank" idiocy. Remember the bathysphere in Emergency mission? I wonder what they were doing with that...
In the heist mission, when playing as Felix, I honestly thought violence was not allowed, and completed his segment without dealing with any of the guards. Seeing you shove that hatchet in that man’s neck was a shocking surprise for me
The open world mission was straight MGSV vibes and it was honestly really cool clearing each camp differently, my personal favorite was using the rc-xd on the sam sites and scud missile without even having to step into the camp, some may call it cheese but the sandbox allowing that freedom of choice is really cool for COD game. Not to mention the gulf war atmosphere was really cool to play in as well.
Small thing, but I thought it was cool how "The Crucible" used a song (115 is the title) that was part of an Easter Egg for the first Black Ops 1 zombies map. Nice throwback for people who played the games back then.
I like to believe that Felix is infact a pacifist, but if he *needs* to kill, he does. Would've been nice would they've shown his distaste in that what he's doing, by making the finisher executed by Felix shaky/sloppy, as if he's not sure what to do. Maybe some extra dialogue, or a little sequence before a finisher where Felix first tries to start talking to the enemy.
@nothanks9503 How so? He's a pacifist, but is seemingly happy to kill people, which i find a bit odd. So some little detail, that he activly dislikes the stuff he has to do (i.e killing people) would've been nice.
you should look into the theory about Case being Bell.. end of Cold War Adler shoots Bell, but you don't get confirmation that he's dead.. later that same year, Case is Case one of the cradle project, where Adler worked around that time for a very short time, it goes a lot more in depth and is very interesting to look at and very convincing!
Honestly that idea that You play as Mason and a group of CIA blacklisters being hunted by Adler and the CIA would be an amazing way to making Old man Mason at the end of Black ops 2 work. He’s been on the run and he’s finally able to come home when he kills Adler. What better way to finally give Adler his Just desserts than having the OG protagonist be the one to do it. I also feel that would need to be the game Sam worthington comes back for (Gary old man too for Reznov flashbacks) The game could be called, Call of duty Blacklist. Also the Warzone stuff wouldn’t bother me if they simply said from the get go Warzone isn’t canon to the campaign Narratives having PVP game modes being major components in single player narratives has NEVER and WILL NEVER WORK.
Mason's dead though, the canonical ending to BO2 is that Woods fell for the trick in Panama and shot him in the head. It is something Woods directly mentions to you in one of the safehouse conversations if you take the time to actually talk to him rather than rushing through to get to more shooting missions. Also, him and Adler being enemies makes zero sense because Adler, Woods, and Mason were all on the same CIA team in Cold War. Also Sam Worthington is a grade-A garbage actor and the less roles he gets is a boon for the rest of the world.
@@VMonkies That's the thing, though. How would Woods know? In BO2, if you chose to shoot Mason in the leg, Woods is still under the impression that he killed Mason in that moment until the very end of the game when Mason shows up alive and well. That last mission takes place in 2025; Woods in BO6 would be under the impression that Mason died in Panama whether he survived or not. He's an unreliable narrator. Now, Treyarch *has* gone on record saying that Mason's death was the canon outcome in promotional material for BO6, and that holds much more weight. But there's plenty of room for them to retcon that, like they've done for half of the characters that died (thank you, operator system/Warzone). EDIT: Went to double check the safehouse conversation to make sure, and Woods never describes Mason being shot in the head, specifically. Just that Mason is dead because of him getting tricked in Panama, which he obviously thinks at this point in the timeline regardless of whether Mason is actually dead or not. No confirmation about where he shot Mason means no in-game confirmation about Mason's fate.
@@VMonkies Woods thought he killed him if you shoot him in the leg too, he doesn't find out until 2025, so it makes sense he calls him dead here either way
Love to see Black Ops redeeming itself with good campaigns. I love how Activision is always trying to kill cod campaigns, but they always fail and always will fail, for each BO4 and MW3 remake, there will be a BO6, where creativity defeats greed
I actually enjoyed the SCUD launcher mission, got to try to stealthily take out the camps or people guarding the weapon caches, that single downed helicopter one is my least favorite though. I enjoyed just standing back and sniping or sneaking in.
I enjoyed the open world section, as a metal gear fan it was fun to play as and find these little hidden tap recordings around the map that alluded to the bioweapon in the next mission
24:03 so funny story, I completed the Felix segment without stealth takedowning anyone, because I just assumed he had stealth takedowns disabled because he was a pacifist lol
Imagine a zombies map focused around the grappling hook. The possibilities. They could genuinely make zombies scary again by making super sprinters more common so you have to rely on the grappling hook to gtfo. You'd have to take more developed routes instead of just training in circles and doing cutbacks.
To be fair to Cold War, at the end of season 6 it’s revealed that Perseus isn’t a single person and the one Adler was trying to find actually died in 1983 the year before Cold War is set which was a pretty good reveal
I personally love the theory that Bell is Case, and the sacrifice Adler mentions is him volunteering for the Cradle. But that doesn't do much to save the story lol
Infinite Warfare is still the best campaign and I wish they would make more like that. You were able to do side missions that meant you'll get upgrades, there were missions that were vastly different. There were stealth, stealth flight missions, assault flight missions, boarding missions. IW was just so fucking good and it's sad the MP was done so poorly
God, yes. I could yap for hours about all the reasons why I love Infinite Warfare. The weapons, the setting, the characters… and don’t even get me started on Specialist mode. Such a fun challenge.
Infinite warfare was fantastic I didn’t like the multiplayer. But everything else about it was great game. I still remember the trailer came out and it was the most dislike trailer in the history.
12:00 this is where I came to the realization that the good ending of BO2 wasn’t the canonical one. I played through that campaign multiple times when I was young and of course did the best possible ending choices at one point. Now I realized though… like Woods isn’t a bad shot. He would have killed Mason… damn that’s fucking me up. Of course it’s also possible Mason actually is still alive and just hasn’t had the reveal yet which doesn’t happen till end of the BO2 timeline. I hope it’s that…
Same man. I was like "Isn't Mason actually alive?" and then I remember that it's one of a few endings, and its probably not the canonical. I just have to hope.
at the very least, canonically Menendez does die according to the BO3 story as it directly mentions riots that happen after his death. Whether that means David Mason kills Menendez or if he does it himself (if you fail to save Karma in time for the mission on The USS Obama, then in the endings Menendez ends up breaking out of prison, kills Woods then himself) isn't determined for certain. Kinda unrelated to your above comment when it comes to Mason, but it's related to the endings in general and it came to mind so I'm bringing it up anyways.
We also have to keep in mind that even though it ties directly into the past games, this IS a part of the rebooted timeline, meaning they could still do some stuff and bring Mason back into the story somehow. You know, just normal Black Ops CIA/MI6 shenanigans, "it was all misdirection to destabilize Woods so he'd be fit to lead a new team yada yada"
Firstly, what the writers of modern Call of Duty say doesn't mean shit for what the original intentions were. Things are already being retconned to tie this into the rebooted MW series and honestly their work has always been sub-par anyway. Secondly, the idea is that the information you can optionally obtain throughout the flashback missions is what tips Woods off about being set up before he takes the shot, hence why you hear Krevchenko's line about a mole in the CIA whilst aiming if you got him to say that before he died. If Wood's is unsettled by the situation he's more likely to aim poorly, and if he's outright suspicious of the situation it makes sense that he wouldn't shoot for the head without confirming the target's identity. Black Ops 3 intentionally left the ending ambiguous with very few references to Black Ops 2 that only imply Menendez was killed at the end.
21:38 yesssss yesssss king. I love how you pointed out the fact that no matter how much you hold it down, Creativity will leak eventually. You can actually see some love put into the details of this campaign
I know there are probably no plans for it, but I'm hoping they finally do something where they expand on the campaign with additional content as the lifespan continues. I would love to see them give us a Case One expansion for the campaign that covers what the hell he was seeing in The Cradle, or even some type of Jane Harrow expansion (since we don't know anything about her having had virtually zero screentime). Maybe the devs will get to do some creative stuff once they siphon enough money from microtransactions, but I doubt it.
I really enjoyed the more open missions in this game. Brings a little bit of a sandbox approach without going overboard like Halo Infinite. I did everything I could in the SCUD mission, stealthed everything at Vorkuta, had a ton of fun at the Cradle Facility, it was a riot for me.
Personally, I really enjoyed hunting season. The only part of that mission that i hate was dealing with the apc at the one scud site, and that massive house that has the vault and like 40 enemies, several who are well armored. The score streaks were cool and bring me back to those fun score streak missions in bo2 I was very split on emergence. I didn’t like the zombies boss, but was genuinely surprised to be scared of a COD mission, genuinely shocked. I wish there was one less key card to get, i started to get bored after the 3rd one and didn’t like fighting another mangler that I hoped would’ve been a panzer or margwa or another zombies mini boss.
When the Harrow separation missions began (the ones in her mind) my expectation was that it was going to be revealed that case was the one who was actually behind Pantheon. something like after escaping the lab he rebuilt Pantheon after Livingstone disbanded it. he then killed Harrow's parents (his model has a black mask similar to the murderers, you can see him in third person in the Iraq mission and a few other places), indoctrinated her, used Cradle to mind control her into thinking it was Adler then joined Wood's team to finalise the mission to destroy the CIA. He would function as a sleeper agent before being woken up by the voice in his head near the end. but no... his backstory was nothing else, emergence was it, despite the fact it seemed to be a massive set up. the voice in his head was nothing special even when it took control of him and made it so that he couldn't tell Woods the truth about Pantheon. horrible use of a really good character.
It doesn't work, if Case was the one who killed harrow's parents he would be like 70 years old in black ops 6 I think it would've worked better if Case was a sleeper agent, having moments where he blacks out and does what he was programmed to do It would've been a repeat of Mason's story but they already repeated Bell's story so why not
@@MightandLight your ignoring the fact that I'm discussing the game in the context of how it could have ended, this isn't a theory (though it is still possible, he'd be in his late 40s or his 50s in BO6). Case being the actual leader of Pantheon who set everything in motion himself would have hit harder than him just being a random sleeper agent in my opinion though, also a little less copy paste.
@@ph-1012 But then why would he be on the front line? It would be incredibly dangerous to let your leader run off doing dangerous missions even if he was a sleeper agent, why not have case make Harrow a sleeper agent and... Oh... We just came full circle
I really love the open world mission. Its ACTUALLY an open world, and it reminds me personally of my favorite game: MGS:V, AND we got to see Park again
Case is so boring as a character. I will have rather play any other members of the team. Heck Case wear a ski mask the only team you could see his face.
I pray for the day when Raven read Delta Green and take notes on the conspiratorial stuff they can cook up within a COD framework. Especially since the main RPG timeline has players in the 90s and onwards as the War on Terror kicks off. Inter-departmental infighting with mind control nonsense, a super weapon or two and some time to cook? Even I would be tempted to
@@srinivarma1320 Unfortunately yes. There are three Great Devourers in the Galaxy. The first is the Tyranids. The second is Fortnite. The third is Warzone.
That feeling you described at the end is 2nd place syndrome. You are more upset that you didn't get first than you are happy with 2nd, the guy in third is happy he's on the podium at all, and first place is pretty happy.
I will say: The dude hacking Livingstone's computer at the end, Caine, was also in the debrief cutscene where Livingstone shows up. Working for Livingstone. He's not *totally* out of left field, but could have used like 30 seonds more of screentime lol
Not the worse idea, we never see a body afterall and Russia probably wouldn't gain much in letting the US know a dissident is alive. The issue is the time period they could really utilize him has gone by already, unless they decide to go back. It would be interesting if they decide to go back on killing off Mason, and gave us a campaign on why he doesn't show up till 2025.
I will say this, I like Emergence a lot honestly. Its great but i dont like how out of place and randomly putting 115 in the mission with NO. LYRICS. Its a war crime in my religion to have to listen to the best COD zombies song with no words being sang. They failed to finger my nostalgia prostate tbh.
On the subject of every recent CoD game’s story having to connect to Warzone, the only time I ever enjoyed the concept was during Black Ops Cold War because instead of carrying forward with the campaign story, it tried telling a new story with characters from the campaign woven into it, with Adler at the center having been brainwashed himself by a member of the Perseus organization. The seasonal story beats involved Adler trying to track this Perseus agent down to get payback for brainwashing him. Cold War let it’s story end and used a form of almost trans-media storytelling to expand on its characters and develop its ideas put forward in the campaign even further.
I really hope a zombie map includes the emergence area and case that would be so dope. Maybe been a little lore thing like the rage inducer is made with the cradle. I was also very upset with what they did with Felix. They could’ve done where he does not lethal takedowns, kill the dude at the vault by accident, then reflex on his beliefs.

One of the best missions in all of cod ngl

The thing about a Bricky game chronology video, is he gives insight CONSTANTLY and talks about the game without JUST saying what happens.

I swear that Raven just want to return to making wacky FPS', like back when they did Wolfenstein '09 and Singularity, and these COD levels are a cry for help

On the plus side, when you eventually replay it, you can unleash just like Felix
Same thing, thought I couldnt kill the guards as Felix, failed that server room section 3 times, lol.
Yeah same, I tried it with stealth first and succeeded, but on a replay I tried to kill, only to be met with no prompt.

This is somewhat my thought. He doesn't like violence because he is a scary dude when he resorts to it.
I thought it was fucking funny. Felix is all "I'm a pacifist", but the SECOND he is confronted with actual combat, he just goes serial killer.
@@torysaccount5753uh yea that’s why he’s a pacifist… dude is a murder machine when he snaps.

As a long time Transformers fan, that hurt to watch.
I remember the first time I heard of Highmoon and it was because they had a game where you could play as a cowboy vampire and it was fuckin' awesome. I had an OXM demo disc with that first level on it and I played it over and over because I could never find a physical copy of the game. I miss demos being a thing.

you missed the part in the casino mission where felix sees them torturing a man, that's what makes him lose his shit
Man I hate vids like these that criticize a game because the moron making the vid was too stupid not to understand what was happening or just wasn’t paying attention
My man said fuck peace I’m now peacemaker
(with a nice hint- hint- nudge- nudge- about David/Section saving the world from the drone attacks)
Its, so small, but imo it really goes to show just how much Mason means to woods and allows for them to really smoothly reference the main character of BO2 while also building out woods character with his worries of being a father and grieving the loss of not only his best friend but also his own life in a way.
@@VeryCoolDailyYou know what, yeah, now that I think about it a bit more. And totally, Case should have been more vocal with grunts and screams.

Honestly, imagine the “breaking out of the torture” thing in the Casino, but Case is laughing manically as he breaks free and stabs the guy.

Yeah, it annoyed me that he missed this. If you choose to kill as him, then that was your choice lol.

No lie, I was thinking about Singularity the whole time I was playing through it. I didn't even know why.
So for Perseus in Cold War, in WZ (you were right), it’s revealed Perseus is an ideal, an organization, and a leader. Stitch (the seasonal MP villain) took up the mantle of Perseus after the former leader (shown in the campaign) died of cancer offscreen. Adler (who had been brainwashed by Stitch) ends up killing him
and that perseues is technically unkillable because its an idea more than a man
It is revealed in the campaign in one of the endings - the campaign’s Perseus says that Americans are [something something], they cannot fathom the idea that Perseus is a concept, an idea, not a single man.

Some complaints I have:
I wish the safe house had more secrets
In the dessert open world mission, I expected the real Delta Force squad to be an obstacle you had to avoid, but instead, you helped them out, and there's no consequences
In the science lab mission, I was also expecting all of the zombies to be real people. It would've been really interesting to see how the crew reacted to Case slaughtering an entire facility. The voice in your head should've stayed around for the rest of the game instead of this mission and the hideout segment after.
Felix killing people should've been a big plot point.
Jane's LSD trip lasted way too long.
I think that all the zombies are meant to be real people, as if you look at the zombies they flicker to other appearances (mostly soldiers) and the "Voice" says you released the Cradle on all the facility so everyone would've been infected by it (how they survived for so long would be another question)
i’m complaining that there was an elevator u couldn’t interact with yet was talked about
I mean Felix was angry because he saw the two doods punching that other guy's head in. He even said that triggered him. Makes sense for his character to get really angry at that...
I definitely think they should’ve focused more on Felix snapping and should’ve dedicated more time to it
You'd think that the safehouse would tell an interesting side plot, but that it resulted in was getting a 1000 bucks
To be honest to be the devil's advocate, the open world level actually has lots of dialogues while you do all the side quests, which I found very entertaining
Bugged out a lot for me though cus i got too close to objs
That is a plus side to that, but I think Bricky’s main complaint is the mission gameplay isn’t interesting enough to encourage getting all that extra dialogue
the idea of the mission itself is a cool concept to begin with really, since its pretty much just them showing you how the SAS carried out Operation Granby. Granby consisted mostly of reconnaissance missions and raids on Scud launchers and communications sites, which is for the most part what you do in this mission.

Ok, but to be fair, Adler in BO6 will execute unarmed people and make jokes when you do it, so deciding to add being non-binary to somebody’s brainwashing purely for the heck of it would be pretty in character.
Forcefemmed Bell 😟😟
26:00 Personally, I can't stand the fact that bullet sponge enemies (juggernauts for example) are now a constant thing in Call of Dutys and I have to stack armors.
I was actually hoping for a throwaway line about this. "These pantheon guys have some weird experimental ceramic armor. Never seen it before, we better be careful."
Would have been so easy, but eh
i remember when juggernauts would have two-three times normal health and it was excused as heavy armor
and you would fight them once in the game
Same thing with Toys for Bob after giving us Crash 4... That alone makes me never want to touch a CoD game again
@ellagage1256 toys for bob is skylanders for me and my inner 6 year old
Same with Raven Software, who made the most unsung FPS games I've ever played, enslaved to toil away in the mines.
High Moon also did some Destiny content inbetween when Bungie was with them and their stuff like " Warmind" was some of the best stuff the game had.
They understand the assignments.
@@ellagage1256Didn't Toys For Bob escape the mines?
Wasn't the "breaking point" of Felix being him seeing what was perceived as an innocent man getting beat up during the Casino mission? You can outright miss what he's referring to as it's in the small space in the room you pass through from the high roller area to the servers, although a guard is standing in the way to somewhat block the view.
This is something you see before you get into the restricted area and can takedown people.
If you wait, long enough in the hunting mission, taking out the scud missiles Marshall will ask Adler how he got his scar and he’ll tell another bullshit story
If you’re a shit driver, Marshall would go,
“Case, Driving isn’t your strong suit”
The fact that he refuses to tell the truth means it was probably some dumb reason. Like he was drunk and fell on the pavement or something
Basically Case is one of the few times in the series where we see the CIA's evil shenanigans work in the end
I also actually like Felix's full character arc.
Yeah but you also murder the exact same guy in that mission too
@@redwiltshire1816really? I was unable to. I tried just getting close a couple times and just ended up getting detected and mission failed
What are these words man
honestly, i thought that the only reason why the new MW timeline just got incorporated into the BO timeline was exclusively bc of warzone, the way cold war got both made and was integrated just stenches of "activision told treyarch to make it like warzone so they could make more money", with activision NOT getting the memo that treyarch intended to continue the black ops timeline, but by the time the call was made, it was too late to change the campaign, essentially forcing the BO and MW timelines together by accident.
Same thing happened to Mason in Cold War, there was zero mention that he was a raging schizo, dude just got better through sheer will I guess.
Yeah he was a moron
That was how I interpreted it as well, especially because Adler has killed people for the exact same reason in the past.
The last time a group of devs left CoD we got Titanfall 1/2, which is bittersweet cuz Titanfall 2 was pretty stellar but then they made Apex which killed any and all potential for campaigns from them and not to mention recently Apex is uh....has stuff going on
@@inoob26 what's happening with apex?

'117' blasting in the background brought back COUNTLESS HOURS of Kino Der Untoten and It was so fucking good I cant help but continue to gush over it
Interesting thing I found out recently when playing as Adler in BO6 zombies if you get a headshot Adler will sometimes say “do you mind if I call you Bell”

with this being my first cod campaign ive ever played, i had only heard of how bad some of the campaigns were. I didnt have much hope in this one but i was super happy with this campaign especially from an outside perspective with no idea of how each character will remain by the end.
The research facility in Emergence gave me a heavy Black Mesa/Aperture science vibe
to add to the bell's theme the very first two lines of the lyrics in russian are "kto ja?" "shto ja?" literally meaning "who am I" "what am I" so it plays even more to the theme of you being changed through MKUltra

The Mimics were an enemy introduced in Firebase Z, the second Zombies map of the game. Disciples (the crazy warlock dude) were introduced in Mauer Der Toten, the third map.
As someone who is a big Cold War fan, it was kinda disheartening to hear that.

I'm pretty sure you can only do the takedowns in the restricted area, which is after you see that guy getting beaten.

Remember the bathysphere in Emergency mission? I wonder what they were doing with that...

If Hudson and Mason were able to swim out of the underwater base in Black Ops 1, Case and Harrow on super soldier drugs can easily do the same.

I think you completely failed to understand the character
@nothanks9503
How so? He's a pacifist, but is seemingly happy to kill people, which i find a bit odd.
So some little detail, that he activly dislikes the stuff he has to do (i.e killing people) would've been nice.
I have never played a CoD game in my life, but I love these videos because of the passion and the very clear unpacking of what's going on.
you should look into the theory about Case being Bell.. end of Cold War Adler shoots Bell, but you don't get confirmation that he's dead.. later that same year, Case is Case one of the cradle project, where Adler worked around that time for a very short time, it goes a lot more in depth and is very interesting to look at and very convincing!
I also feel that would need to be the game Sam worthington comes back for (Gary old man too for Reznov flashbacks)
The game could be called, Call of duty Blacklist.

Imagine if what we had massive space battles in the multiplayer, now that would've made the multiplayer way better then what was actually done.

We’ll never get the sequel where you play as Salter and it pisses me off.
Woods did kill Mason, he directly tells you that in one of the safehouse conversations.
Finally!! Somebody liked Emergence, I knew I was not weird.
I really enjoyed the more open missions in this game. Brings a little bit of a sandbox approach without going overboard like Halo Infinite. I did everything I could in the SCUD mission, stealthed everything at Vorkuta, had a ton of fun at the Cradle Facility, it was a riot for me.
Adler seems like his charisma comes out of nowhere until you realize hes literally Master Chief
Personally, I really enjoyed hunting season. The only part of that mission that i hate was dealing with the apc at the one scud site, and that massive house that has the vault and like 40 enemies, several who are well armored.
The score streaks were cool and bring me back to those fun score streak missions in bo2
I was very split on emergence.
It doesn't work, if Case was the one who killed harrow's parents he would be like 70 years old in black ops 6
I think it would've worked better if Case was a sleeper agent, having moments where he blacks out and does what he was programmed to do
It would've been a repeat of Mason's story but they already repeated Bell's story so why not
@@MightandLight your ignoring the fact that I'm discussing the game in the context of how it could have ended, this isn't a theory (though it is still possible, he'd be in his late 40s or his 50s in BO6).
@@MightandLight Adler is 54, I get what you mean though. but yeah they absolutely could have done more with case
I really love the open world mission.
Its ACTUALLY an open world, and it reminds me personally of my favorite game: MGS:V, AND we got to see Park again
The marketing set up Adler as the villain, I was expecting it.
after beating the campaign i realized something
case is literally john wick but with schizophrenia and anger management issues
Case is so boring as a character. I will have rather play any other members of the team.
Heck Case wear a ski mask the only team you could see his face.
I pray for the day when Raven read Delta Green and take notes on the conspiratorial stuff they can cook up within a COD framework. Especially since the main RPG timeline has players in the 90s and onwards as the War on Terror kicks off. Inter-departmental infighting with mind control nonsense, a super weapon or two and some time to cook? Even I would be tempted to
Until Activision forces raven to tie it into warzone
@@srinivarma1320 Unfortunately yes. There are three Great Devourers in the Galaxy. The first is the Tyranids. The second is Fortnite. The third is Warzone.
Can I just say, the mission at 25:53 where you group up with Sims genuinely reminded me of 2000s war movies with it's colour grading?
I felt the same way....this was an audition for a different game
That feeling you described at the end is 2nd place syndrome. You are more upset that you didn't get first than you are happy with 2nd, the guy in third is happy he's on the podium at all, and first place is pretty happy.
27:25 WARFRAME MENTIONED!!!!!!!
I will say: The dude hacking Livingstone's computer at the end, Caine, was also in the debrief cutscene where Livingstone shows up. Working for Livingstone. He's not *totally* out of left field, but could have used like 30 seonds more of screentime lol
Am I the only one hoping that Reznov is still out there, watching waiting for his moment to strike? He must know EVERYTHING. COME. BACK.
He would be so old by the time of Black Ops 6. He was born in 1913.
That’ll be in a battle pass
that's the worst idea i ever read
Not the worse idea, we never see a body afterall and Russia probably wouldn't gain much in letting the US know a dissident is alive. The issue is the time period they could really utilize him has gone by already, unless they decide to go back. It would be interesting if they decide to go back on killing off Mason, and gave us a campaign on why he doesn't show up till 2025.
Bro he's fucking dead. What? He wasn't in Vorkuta?
