when it switches from one network to the other it no longer hangs. thats awesome! think of changing networks the same way as a marathon runner handing off the baton or stick or whatever it is. If it's a smooth handoff they keep going but if they drop it they have to stop for a second, in Pokémon terms, stopping for a second makes you get the spinny ball of death in the top left hand corner... Basically, they are ensuring more smooth handoffs so pokemon go doesn't crash or lag as much when transfering from one carrier such as T-mobile to At&t. Happens a lot when driving actually.

Actually, a Raticate that knows Bite and Hyber Beam can do a considerable amount of damage in a gym battle before it is knocked out. Not that that makes it a good candidate for a buddy Pokemon, given the easy availability of Rattata's out in the wild and from 2k eggs.

If you go to the Pokemon Go section in the help section you will find they added info. On the Buddy system and add a buddy even though the update hasn't been released.
To put your buddy u have to go to your character and press the three lines on the bottom right corner and there will be your journal and the buddy bottom

What do you think will be the Pokemon that the most people chose as a "buddy"? Personally, I think it might be one that would look the most ridiculous to put on a leash if it existed in real life--Magikarp, because for someone people living in very rural areas, it's impossible to catch enough of those things, to grind all those candies for a Gyarados.

I hate the San Francisco "improved" tracker system... you have to be around pokestops to work because it only shows pokemon within like a 10-20 meter radius of the pokestop

jst by seeing the name of the channel I had to subscribe TEAM MYSTIC!!! plus my favorite lucky number 7 number of perfection!!! seeing the chansey getting caught was cool to..plus some advice for my fellow team mystic, its not that hard to hold gyms anymore since school is back in session, I took over 8 gyms but was only able to collect 60 poke coins cause someone else (not in school) took my first 2 gyms or 2 gyms in a popular area etc.. but take ur friends and take gyms over around u jst find the closest gyms near eachother that u can get to fast and take em over asap and with a team of 3 of u, honestly u could prolly get 10 gyms a day at least Monday-Friday, around here there's 3 gyms close to eachother I take for the weekends, I got one team mystic gym over here to level 10, like people try to get it down to level 7, 8 or 9 and that's the gym I keep a close eye on all the time cause every time they lower the gym level I go train the gym get it back to level 10 asap, u guys should train gyms if u wanna see some easy ways to train gyms I got some videos showing the easiest way to train gyms, come on TEAM MYSTIC!!! lets make team instinct into team extinct then will turn team valor aka team galor to team extinct to team mystic has to own every gym in the wooooooorrrrlllldd~!!!!!

Just watched a video where the guy said it would take 37 hours of straight walking to get 400 candies for a gyrados. (not that anyone's going to walk 37 hours all at once but, or that you won't be catching magikarps at the same time) but dann they should have made it 3 per 1 to 2 km as if you just caught a pokemon.
