This fairly older, 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 mid-size SUV with the 4 L V6 engine, which produces only 210 horsepower and the five-speed automatic transmission is solid and very reliable. It is a great vehicle for a newly-licensed driver and it can be used for a commuter and for road trips. They are cheap to own, cheap to maintain and cheap to insure. These older, North American vehicles are a lot more reliable than the newer ones, which are junk (GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Equinox, Dodge Journey, Jeep Patriot and so forth).
