@@rainthundercloudin shadow fight 3 there are perks that can either prevent blocking or break block under certain conditions and the chances are higher as those perks are upgraded. In arena the chance is fixed since talents cannot be improved but still do the same thing, breaking through block. Some characters like kate,marcus,kibo,emperor, etc. all have block-breaking talents, all of the characters have ways to deal with overly-defensive opponents so that nobody can just block forever.
Bruh I just made the transition from SF2 to SFA and just skipped SF3. Because of SF2 I’m used to fast attacks and almost immediate reactions, not these combos that SFA has, so it was basically my mistake lol

It isn't a different game. It's just a different mode of playing within Shadow Fight 3 (Just like Chapters and Duels are two different modes of playing). It's still in beta

Ling is such an annoying character to fight, every person I play against with him just button mashes because his attacks are so fast that you can’t beat him at all, even ironclad can’t beat him at close range, if you’re in a corner you just get hit again and again and you have no way to attack.
Shadow fight 1 2 and 3 you still take damage when you block it has always been that way also rolling has been one of the best ways to not get hit by a ranged attack

Star you need to get possessed emperor for this one reason: it has the highest defense in-game when in human form but when in possessed mode it becomes the highest dmging hero

Do not roll towards your enemy unless he is using ranged weapon or performing a dodgable shadow ability .Never do that.This isn't AI. Do not intiate your attack unless your opponent is done finishing his combo. Keep distance from your enemy even when he's down on the ground.He'll kick you.Use low attacks. Know the range of your attacks.That’s you main problem.Like Ling's shadow ability and Helga's heavy attack. Do not use Ling's flask often.
