I also wanna say that shang is too op because of the long range and ability to interpret enemy attacks without getting hurt with being far and also it is a starter character. So that is to op maybe decrease damage by 20% and speed by 10% that would make it equal to other starter characters

Bro shang is holding a polearm so it makes sense that he has long range attacks
Also Ling is a starter character but he is powerful enough to last till endgame same with ironclad
His back attack feels like it lack a 3rd hit although his damage must be nerfed
Only from heavenly attacks(when monkey king🍌 uses an attack in ascension)
