Doomsday prepping is a good way to learn about your own consumption. I prep for if there was a nuclear blast because I live in OC, I don't actually experience any paranoia myself but when I saw preppers doing it it honestly just looked interesting to me. The people in my building don't know this but I have enough rice in my closet to feed the whole building for months assuming we have access to some kinda water.

I do prep because i live in a rural european alpine area and i'm too lazy to constantly drive around. And also because the people i live with and myself are immigrants and we like to stockpile our imported foods, because it is expensive. As business owners we also have a license for wholesale outlets to get discount. In our garden we grow exotic vegetables and chicken. We could be too lazy for grocery shopping for a year. Our house, a semi-commercial building has a large basement. My wife came up with this strategy. She has grown up in the northern Baikal area which is very remote, so people are stockpiling everything. If some societal collapse breaks out, i may rather adapt to a nomadic lifestyle. Staying stationary is dangerous, people may attack and loot my stockpiles.
@@hyperturbotechnomike Yeah, so when I got out of rehab I linked up with a family from Korea and my landlady is the one who showed me this stuff. If stored properly rice can be good for decades. I prep because I'm from CA and there were earthquakes. I now live in tornado alley. So it makes sense to be prepared. Even winter power outage can be killer.
Glad to see deep web browsing again! I agree on prepping, I live in upstate NY so prepping is actually useful here. Last year we had a blizzard that killed people and shut down all emergency services and my mom's habit of stocking extra food paid off. Not just because everything was shut down for a few days but because the stores were crowded and empty of product before and after.
He can't. He said in a live stream at one point the reason these are so rare now is because the deep web is mainly used for illegal materials (guess) nowadays. interesting sites still pop up on occasion, but it's nowhere near as plentiful as it used to be. Plus even if you're not looking at it, being aware there's so much gross stuff out there is extremely rough on your mental health. At the end of the day, Muta is just a normal citizen and not a crime scene investigator or FBI agent that's hardened to that sort of thing.
It's just interesting to see what people post on there, without going there myself. I don't care how often, I just like you doing these types of videos as well as anything else you upload, many thx Muta
I remember hearing about the Love Has Won cult on the channel Ask a Mortician with Caitlyn Doughty. She explained the mummification process and the legalities about mummifying your cult leader. Love her stuff.

Hey thanks for covering this!! I have felt like the only one keeping up with it again. It's a crazy cult and I've been covering it for 2 years so it's nice to see other people do so!! A lot of people just sort of quit after Mother God was found mummified and never realized it formed 2 more cults after that and they're still going to this day.
I don't mind you doing this kind of content every couple months if it means getting these semi regularly as a treat. Especially since I've watched your deep web series years ago and really enjoyed them.

I've been too Crestone, Colorado before. Seriously the strangest place I've ever been in the US, and I've been to 44 states. Edit: To elaborate a bit, Crestone is basically full of cults or near cult sects of various religions. They (meaning virtually everyone who lives there) believe that the town is at some crossing of major mystical ley lines or some such. When i was there, there was literally nothing there, no grocery store, no gas station, or really anywhere to buy any necessities. The whole town is just shrines, temples, churches and what have you and the homes of the "true believers" of whatever religion they believe in. Seriously strange place.
@@rottencrouton no, it's on the edge of the San Luis Valley Ave the Sangria de Cristo mountain range. So it's flat all the way to the edge of town, then the actual town is kind of in a foothills area. There's a few dirt roads and if you drive up any of them there will be all these little religious buildings from various sects. Mostly hippie-new age types live there. Nice people as far as I saw, but definitely a little weird. It's not a "cult-town" in the sense that a cult controls the town, it's a cult-town in the sense that it's a town full of cults. I guess you would say it's rural? The nearest sizeable town is about an hour away. It's more like someone constructed a housing development in the middle of nowhere. Houses are pretty decent size honestly, but it's the poorest region of Colorado, so probably not all that expensive for a good sized house. That said, definitely more affluent than the surrounding areas.
@@Josh-cf7xf if you're in the area, maybe stop by. The only thing nearby is Sand Dunes, that's why I was there. My wife and I and the in-laws were on a trip to the Dunes and Crestone is about as far from Sand dunes as Alamosa. Camping is hard to get at Sand Dunes and we wanted to stay somewhere kind of off the beaten path. Crestone looks a lot closer than Alamosa, but there's no straight path to the park, you have to go all the way back out to 17 to get to the Dunes along mostly dirt roads. Anyways, our Air BnB was in Crestone and we had no idea what the town was before we got there. There's also a UFO watch tower on route 17 between Crestone and Sand Dunes, the whole area is just kind of strange. When Muta read about the enshrined body in the sleeping bag wrapped in Christmas lights, my first thought was "yeah, that sounds about right for Crestone." It's not a place I'd go as a destination, but if you're going to see Sand Dunes it's worth a stop off if you're into that kind of stuff. I think there's also a hot springs at the junction of 17 and the road to Crestone, so there's stuff to do around there, just not so much in the town itself. I was living in Denver at the time, which is also about a 4 hour drive, and this trip was about a decade ago. I've been back to Sand Dunes twice, but not Crestone. Not that it's scary or anything, just kind of boring. It's fun for a few hours, but once you've driven around and seen all the oddities there's not much reason to stick around. So sure, maybe stop off and see it if you're in the area for some other reason, but I wouldn't make it a destination. People are nice in that hippie-peace-and-love cult kind of way and I'd be surprised if weird stuff WASN'T going on there, but probably behind closed doors. We certainly didn't see any weird rituals or anything like that, but I'd imagine that type of stuff happens if you go on the right day. Maybe solstices or equinoxes or something? I'm sure you could research the different religions there and figure out a good time to go to maximize weirdness. Hope that helps, let me know if you have other questions.
I'm always down for these. But any Muta video does the job. 🤘 Also, I guess there was a human trafficking thing involving "mother goddess" ? My ex wife told me after we had a weird fancy guy talking to us at the store about it. 😮
Damn it, Muta! I put this on for background noise while editing and this was such a downer! But I'm glad to see you're back to your dark web deep dives.
I remember the love has won cult, but I seriously cant believe its still going! Omg if you honestly do a podcast dedicated to this I will definitely be watching it.
Muta is not sensitive lmao, he’s constantly laughing about people dying or calling them idiots if they die in stupid way. Granted, yes doing something incredibly stupid and endangering yourself isn’t something thats amazing. But instead of showing empathy and ignoring or calling attention to dangerous behavior, hes just calls them stupid or straight up making fun of their deaths. On twitter, i’ve literally seen him responding to videos of people brutally dying and his first response is “natural selection”. Actual borderline sociopathic shit, I get its normalized in online spaces but its still fucked (i love muta btw i just think he does the “dudebro american” shit way too much despite being canadian lmao)
Omg, as someone who did a deep dive on love has won... watching you learn about it for the first time was so satisfying! You absolutely should make a video about it, it’s a fascinating and horrible cult!
@@randalthor6872 chores are things you have to do from now and then. It's stuff like washing dishes, loading a washing machine, vacuuming etc. basic routine things
Completely agreed on the prepping advice. I've done a little prepping myself in the event shit hits the fan and all of society breaks down. I've got a nice strong rope out in the garage 😂
Shit man, you too? I thought I was the only one! Seriously though, yes, prepping is a good thing. I don't think or believe we'll see a nuclear attack or Armageddon anytime soon, but even still... Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Blizzards, etc. are kind of a thing too. I've lived through a dozen twisters (stories for another time) so far, ain't letting one take me now.
i honestly miss these videos! i know you can't make these videos every weekend, but maybe once every one to two months? ..if that's not too much? lol your deep web videos are definitely a great way to end off a busy day/week/month!
Watching Muta play the game a bit has me reminiscing on old days watching him playing horror and obscure games. Maybe it's time for a "bring it back, old school, Muta games binge watch marathon"..🤔 😎
I’m probably not the only person who will say this, but I was introduced to Love Has Won through the Death Grips song Culture Shock (and subsequently 5D) because there’s a sample in that song that comes directly from one of the cult’s videos (the “you need to vibrate higher” voice, for people who don’t know).
Oh. My. Lort. Thank you, Muta. Btw Preppers got a bad name because of Google, Wikipedia, and Mainstream Media. Everyone should prep, but don't go crazy with it.
The German goverbment even has guidelines how to prep. (X litres of Water per Person, and at least two weeks of food that doesn't easily spoil, and a few more Things that I don't know from the top of my head)
I thought the story about the mummy lady sounded familiar. I learned about it 2 years ago from the Ask A Mortician channel. Good stuff. I'll post a link as a reply to this🥰
‘What if it considers human beings to be useless and just wants to kill all of us?’ To be honest, as a disabled person, people are trying to do that to me all the time, so I’m not really any more bothered than I was already 😂
im amazed we are watching you discover the love has won cult in real time. This is surreal as someone who watches a lot of horror channels, this was a subject on a few of them a year or 2 ago.
Thanks man. After watching this video I did a deep dive on the this subject, what a crazy story! The more I watched though the more I felt sad for all those involved, that lady went off the deep end.
Brooooo I missed these Dark Web Browsing episodes. It’s been 4-5 years now and as much as I enjoy the tech industry politics, I really enjoyed watching these in the background once a week. Felt great to tune into every Sunday.
I'd honestly love a deep web browsing episode once a month. Make it around 45mins to an hour long rather than making like 20min videos 2-3 times a month.
I pissed off a guy in college by telling him that his idea of starting a purely anarchical state would end with it being quickly invaded and annexed by a larger country or military. He got mad at me.
I like your style. 😂 I've pissed off a few anarcho-capitalists by telling them that it'll just become corporate authoritarian or corporations having ultimate rule.
Doesnt matter how much content there is out there if you do a video on it every day youre gonna eventually use it all up, i think the 2 week thing isnt a bad idea at all
Where I live in January an ice storm hit and it knocked out power from a couple days to over a week for around 1/4 of the town. My family was prepped, we had a butane burner, heaters, firewood, etc. Prepping isn't just for the ultimate doomsday, it is useful if a natural disaster of any sort hits.
As someone who lives in a highly seismic place, prepping is just good sense to me. You never really know when you're gonna get hit with a building-wrecking earthquake.

I remember the love has won cult, but I seriously cant believe its still going! Omg if you honestly do a podcast dedicated to this I will definitely be watching it.
I love when muta gets emotionally affected because he genuinely is sensitive
That's a good man right there
Muta is not sensitive lmao, he’s constantly laughing about people dying or calling them idiots if they die in stupid way.
Actual borderline sociopathic shit, I get its normalized in online spaces but its still fucked
(i love muta btw i just think he does the “dudebro american” shit way too much despite being canadian lmao)
Being sensitive doesn't automatically make you a good man...
@@reptilianviking3386no but it’s a good quality for a man to have and lost on most. seems lost on you too 🤷♂️ respectfully…
Thank you Muta for making an old school video instead of more drama vids.
Nice to get a deep web episode every now and again, its like vintage Muta era vibes from 2014
2014 almost 10 years ago now. WTF happened to the time
space out the deep web vids, always have something to look forward to that way, not just for the viewers, but you/Muta as well ✨
On behalf of all bisexuals, we do not claim that second dude.
Not even mildly?
😂
Love the deep web vids! So glad to be here so early on a Saturday night!
It’s a great feeling indeed 🙂
Omg, as someone who did a deep dive on love has won... watching you learn about it for the first time was so satisfying! You absolutely should make a video about it, it’s a fascinating and horrible cult!
Oh, and don't call her poor...she was a total monster!
Man I was just thinking it'd be nice to have another dank web browsing episode
Once or twice a month would be awesome thanks again muta for taken the time to share some deepweb
these are the perfect videos to listen to in the background while doing chores
what's a "chore", bro? and how do i do it?
@@randalthor6872 chores are things you have to do from now and then. It's stuff like washing dishes, loading a washing machine, vacuuming etc. basic routine things
@@kitkat8669 ; P
lol thanks I was just joshin
It’s true when they say “savor the best part for last”.
Appreciate these as well as your other vids! Keep it all coming!
I personally felt a lot more enjoyment getting a more sporadic deep web video, rather than every week. Feels like we've earned it a little more.
Your deep web dives are how I found your channel years ago, bring more but stay sane!!
I absolutely love the deep web videos. Interesting content and very often informative, plus I like seeing muta’s input on it all
I've missed this series. It's how I first discovered your channel.
I'm glad this is back it's the whole reason I'm subscribed that and the Linux content thanks to your vids I've been using Linux for a month now
Watching someone discover the Love Has Won cult for the first time is kind of hilarious.... thank you Muta!
I’d love to see more deep web videos again. These are what got me to start watching your videos to begin with now I watch everything you upload.
Watching Muta play the game a bit has me reminiscing on old days watching him playing horror and obscure games. Maybe it's time for a "bring it back, old school, Muta games binge watch marathon"..🤔
😎
Next thing you know Mutahar's gonna start reading creepypastas again
I’m probably not the only person who will say this, but I was introduced to Love Has Won through the Death Grips song Culture Shock (and subsequently 5D) because there’s a sample in that song that comes directly from one of the cult’s videos (the “you need to vibrate higher” voice, for people who don’t know).
No shit? That's totally in character for death grips.
@@TheMartianrebel True, just wanted to point it out because the cult was mentioned in this video.
@possiblymcfly I just didn't know that myself, being a big fan of death grips. Interesting to know but not surprising lol
Thats actually crazy
Definitely more deep web dives please.. my husband used to think i was mad watching all your videos lol.
I love them.
Aw man, I missed the beep in the beginning! The best part!
Oh. My.
@@keit99 So does the US gov.
Love this style of content where I feel slightly spooked haha 🤣
Never thought i was gonna end my bedtime ritual watching a deep web video 😂 Cheers bro

I thought the story about the mummy lady sounded familiar. I learned about it 2 years ago from the Ask A Mortician channel. Good stuff. I'll post a link as a reply to this🥰
Won't work, friend. UA-cam automatically blocks links that aren't other UA-cam videos.
@@John_EMIYA_Miller cool, that's why I name dropped the channel too.
The video is called "is it illegal to mummify ypur cult leader". Have fun
‘What if it considers human beings to be useless and just wants to kill all of us?’
To be honest, as a disabled person, people are trying to do that to me all the time, so I’m not really any more bothered than I was already 😂
im amazed we are watching you discover the love has won cult in real time.
You don't get eye bags like this without doing late night deep dives :D @SomeOrdinaryGamers keep it up my man ❤
They're sunken in, which is more betterer
Brooooo I missed these Dark Web Browsing episodes. It’s been 4-5 years now and as much as I enjoy the tech industry politics, I really enjoyed watching these in the background once a week. Felt great to tune into every Sunday.
2:56 ah yes, the 3 necessities. food, ammo and water.
America Moment
Glad to see what first brought me to your channel make a comeback
I'd honestly love a deep web browsing episode once a month. Make it around 45mins to an hour long rather than making like 20min videos 2-3 times a month.
Your dark web browsing videos is how I found you years ago. I have enjoyed your channel ever since.
That football done knocked my head off.
Any more mild bisexuals among us 😂😂😂
Among all the real hitmen and red rooms, it's nice to also see real deities on the dank web.
Not only was this awesome and informative, but you inspired me to buy a 7up for the first time in YEARS! Nice video, maybe time for bigger sponsors!
Doesnt matter how much content there is out there if you do a video on it every day youre gonna eventually use it all up, i think the 2 week thing isnt a bad idea at all
Some of the best content on youtube is these deep web vids. I always end up going back to them
Wonder how hard it would be to find all the legal sites Muta has ever showed on Tor?
it's not too hard. I occasionally track down some of the ones he covers
not as hard as you think
Absolutely wild that you stumbled on to Love Has Won on the deep web. There are dozens of great deep dive videos of it out there.
And truly... watching Muta discover this in sort-of real time is among the best content about it
People so paranoid with thr potential of AI wiping human life when humans are already very capable and actively doing so.
I’ve seen countless youtubers make content on deep web but for some reason Muta’s really does hit different.
Never expect Muta to do deep web again. Glad to see
Muta! Brother, you've been so consistently dropping bangers and it's greatly appreciated.
A computer is probably a better driver than 80% of Americans
I love your deepweb stuff this is how I found your channel! Always down for more
I want an anarchist to explain how they implement socialism, without institutions. Just kumbaya and unicorns shitting out all your needs.

You know what else is the most disturbing deep web episode i've made in a while!?
*MY MOM!*
High five
Bro I think we have the same mom
You know who else suffers from dementia?
Thought my phone was zoomed for a second until I realized Muta just pulled us a little closer.
Elon Musk has zero credibility lol
38:38 wait why is there quantity option?
Can you buy more than one pluto?😂😂

After watching the documentary on HBO this makes this even funnier
