    Thanks for your enthusiastic video. I am just coming up on my first 200 m. on my 2023 Rise H20. This is my first emtb and it does not disappoint. I am amazed at the range as well as the available power. I finally admitted at age 75 (and a cancer patient) that it was time to upgrade. Wow, such fun. Thanks Orbea for the sweet ride at a fantastic price point.

      75 here, too and very interested in moving into the e-bike world. This Orbea seems to check a lot of the boxes.

      Amazing to hear my friend. Keep those pedals spinning and hope to meet you on the trails one day 👍

      Being 68yrs I am the baby of this thread. 😂
      My 2023/4 M20 Goblin is the only acceptable way for me to climb for 90mins at 80-85% MHR and still have enough jam for the ride my favourite descents.
      On this bike I can do two laps each day, every other day. On my analog bike, my recovery limited me to ride one lap once every three days at best.
      I quit racing XC several years ago. I rode Masters Expert. When 1.2- 1.5hr events became destructive to my well being I withdrew.
      I can now climb with the company of younger riders and safely descend at my pace. Im usually one of the last descending but in the middle of the group climbing. 🎉

    Sick colors... I'm also really looking to switch my Orbea Rise M20 (2023) to Rise 2024 LT version. Hope this will level up my riding us well :)

    Love my Alloy '23 Rise. It's a natural, smooth and "just enough" assist. I'm still putting in plenty of effort, and don't jet up the climb unnaturally. I'm just not completely dead after a single climb. Didn't feel the need to spend more on the Carbon version. For my level of riding (avoiding black diamond trails) it's been the perfect MTB.
    The variety of tunable settings in the app for the EP801-RS is great too. Nice step up from previous Shimano motor options.
    The internal 540wh battery combined with the RS efficiency means I've also been able to go on some very long bikepacking/XC style rides as well. Only using power when needed (i.e. steep climbs). Thankfully, I haven't needed the range extender, as I've had no luck locating a Gen2 Range Extender for purchase in the US.

    Did you have a chance to see the new Orbea Rise SL, how do you compare them ?

    • @benmooreracing
      @benmooreracing  Місяць тому

      Yes mate, very different bikes indeed. The SL is suited far better for longer distance rides and the new LT is suited for aggressive trail riding 👌

    Have a '23 orbea rise H10 and i love it.
    Although im thinking of getting a range extender .was out today and only managed 25.5 km with 900m of climbing, the battery was completely dead .im 95kg and used trail mode for the majority.
    Would you recommend a range extender or is there something i could tune in the app to help.i do have DH casing tyres on .cheers

      Hi Eddie, yes the range extender is a massive gain. It should give you around 50% more range as it has approximately half the battery capacity of the main battery. Try fiddling with the Shimano app to decrease power output in trail mode as well. This will obviously make it harder for your legs but the range will naturally improve. Hope that helps 👍

    Hi. Thanks for a very informative review! I am about to get a m10 rise and I would love to have another view of my own thinking. I do own and normally riide a Rallon for rough enduro trails. I am considering a rise because I want to ride more everyday trails in order to get more riding time! I am 48 years old with small kids and just want to get more riding. Would a m10 be an overkill and make me realize just using my rallon or would a m10 rise make me go for more riding? Cheers

      Hi Peter, thanks for the message. Great question indeed! I love all bikes, but my opinion, if you purchase a Rise, you’ll open the door to more opportunities of riding. Especially with a busy life and family at home, having an M10 Rise will be the bike for your ‘power hour’. You’ll cover more distance, trails & elevation in such a shorter time. This is what most Rise and Wild owners are finding.
      You’ll also then have the option of going for long exploration rides when you have more free time 😉 Hope this helps mate 👍

    I do habe just 1 Question. You owned the Gen 1 Rise and the 2 right here.
    Is the rattling noise better on the EP801 or is it the same as the "old" EP8 in the Gen1 Rise?🤔

    • @benmooreracing
      @benmooreracing  3 місяці тому

      Thanks for the question my friend. This generation of Rise is the same as last year. I have only had this year and last years Rise. My Rise is very quiet and I don’t hear any noise from the EP801. Hope that helps mate 👍

    I like it! Does the aluminium frame make much difference in weight?

    • @benmooreracing
      @benmooreracing  3 місяці тому

      Thanks Mark. Yes there are differences in weight and stiffness between the options 👍

    Can I add my 125cc engine 🤔

    Judging by the shop interior, and the fancy duds, you've gotta be very wealthy to afford such a bike. And that's all UA-cam has for reviews: super-expensive bikes. Sad.
