    Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!! We hope you enjoyed this trip along the Carolina coast. We will absolutely be going back to the area to explore more in the future. We loved it! Have you been to North or South Carolina? What are your favorite campgrounds and places to visit there?

    Funny. Last year at this time we were traveling the Outer Banks of North Carolina and into South Carolina. The year before we were in Seguine, TX. This year NorCal. See you on the road some year. We enjoyed the National Park campgrounds of OBX and taking the ferries. Our most unique stay was a Cannabis (for CBD) Harvest Host

    Hi, Happy Thanksgiving, I hope that you both had a great meal with some other RV'ers.
    I have this , I guess burning question for FULL time RV'ers. You find a place interesting Like this camp ground in Myrtle Beach that you wanted to stay for the Turtle release in 2 days but you need to move on. We'll you're full timers why don't you stay for it. You may not ever get back there . But you're there now. I hear this all the time from lots of UA-cam full timers. I like you guys and thought maybe you'd answer that question without being upset with the question. I don't mean no harm. The best times that I've had on the road is " no schedule. I drove until we saw something we wanted to stop and see. It was the best time

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  3 роки тому

      Hi Don! Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Great question. We changed our plans a TON this year. In this case a few things played into our deciding not to stay for the turtles... 1) we were tired of changing plans and wanted to stick to what we had booked for a bit, 2) some of the plans we had after this stop weren't easy to change (especially around weekends), 3) we were meeting friends in Florida and wanted to take our time getting down there without any long drive days.

    There is also a nice state park a little further south, Santee State Park that is nice and peaceful, it'd right on a lake. Also over towards Augusta GA there is a USACE Campground that is really nice, Petersburg Campground, if you have the National Park Pass it's under $20.00 per night.

    When you come back, a must see is Brookgreen Gardens. “Registered as a National Historic Landmark, Brookgreen Gardens is a wonder of native flora, fauna, and American sculpture. Considered by many to be the jewel of the Grand Strand, Brookgreen Gardens has been delighting visitors since its creation in 1931 by Anne and Archer Huntington. “

    We camp not far from there and have stayed there in the past. The causeway you pass going in is home to some very large alligators. Tons of wildlife there all over. The walkway you walked down near the castle often is a crossing for some of those gators. It’s a beautiful place to camp for sure thanks for sharing and safe travels.

    I am not a Internet or UA-cam influencer, but I am reaching out to those of you that are, and asking ones that might have connections with the industry, of RV's or Items that are Manufactured for RV's to have someone make the equivalent of the Propane Blackstone Grill, but Electric.
    I have been doing research on Fires in and around RV's being caused by Propane Stoves, Propane Heaters, and Propane Refrigerators. We now have 12V Refrigerators, and Electric induction cooktops, Why not the Equivalent of the Blackstone Grill, but only Electric? Somebody out there should be able to make one, but as of now, I have not found one, at least not a big one like the Blackstone!
