It definitely was scary, and it wasn’t the only time. It actually had a similar reaction a bunch of times in that outing. I posting a short video of it doing that when it lost me behind a tree. I’m thinking I have a setting wrong, but I could just have a faulty drone.
@@randomalleycat after checking the settings I would contact DJI. Just make sure it isn’t something in the settings first. You should put something on record with DJI just in case you end up losing the drone.
@@CaptureLifeConnectiongood idea. People on Reddit did warn me that getting a DJI product right when it is released could be a buggy experience! Even with a wrong setting, I can’t imagine it would make sense for it to just fly away at full speed, it should just continue in the same direction at the same speed, or just stop in place.
@randomalleycat I bet it was. Yeah, probably had a bug or 10 in it. Lol BTW, just got a T-Deck case from you on Etsy. Execellent job. I'll be ordering more from you. Lilygo needs to up their production schedule, though, so I can buy more stuff I don't need. Lol
Awesome! I'm glad you like the case. It's not actually my store and I'm not directly involved in it but I have been in contact with the seller and his quality is good so I like to promote his store. If I had time to sell them myself I would but I have way too much going on right now so I'm glad someone with good quality is selling them!
@@randomalleycat Thanks for letting me know. 👍 I guess I saw you mention it and just _assumed_ it was yours. Regardless, someone has a new dedicated customer. Lol
Excelente vídeo 👏👏👏
Nice 😍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@randomalleycat welcome.. 🙏🙏
That was scary 😱. I’ve never seen a DJI drone react like that.

@@randomalleycat it’s a dangerous situation. I would contact DJI before attempting that function again.
@@CaptureLifeConnection I'll shoot them an email, thanks for the advice!
That took my breath away and I've got exactly $0 invested 😆
It was pretty damn scary! I think it was the "fancy" obstacle avoidance setting because I turned that off and haven't had an issue since.
