I hope his wife is doing alright. I know all his fans feel about him and miss him, so can you imagine how this is for her. The only thing we can do for her is to show her how much we loved and respected him, thats got to help alittle. You can believe this or not, but I had never been a fan of ANY actor, entertainer, celebrity, to the extent that it bothered me so much when then passed away as I knew that was a part of life, but when Alan Rickman passed way it made me angry at God in my own selfish way, for taking away such a great talent far too soon, and knowing what we would be missing out on with his talent gone for us to never experience the like ever again. Thankfully there are movies and videos that can be revisited. And another also you may not believe, I never knew of Alan Rickman until I saw him in Harry Potter, as I was not a big movie fan, so now I do have the excitement of going to find and acquiring the rest of his movies, stage work and anything else I can. What a huge talent that will be missed.
