I don’t see why not, hexagear kits are designed for modularity, you can mix and match to your heart’s content

Question: what size action base is best for this set?

Just the generic kotobukiya small action base, it normally comes in transparent plastic with 3mm peg holes. I hope this helps :)

Have to say, this was my 1st hexa gear kit and I was disappointed by the lack of any colour, going by previous kits they all at least had coloured parts and even some paint apps. In retrospective the colour scheme seems unfeasible for the colour apps used per part(shame since it’s what attracted me to begin with). Safe to say the alternative jester will be grey too.

I will say so too, the biggest let down is the colour, everything else is great. Maybe they are saving cost and aimed for easy building instead.

Looms cool but too expensive for what it is, I think hexagear line wont survive much, this more for the JP market than rest of the world I hardly see other people buy these.
