Built this recently, and loving it. I do recommend a drop of superglue to strengthen the ankle pins and the foot pegs due to the added weight caused by the hovercraft shoes. Also of interest is that you also have the original Bulkarm's chest ball camera and enough parts to complete one of the old wrist joints. Bash those together and you have an extra camera accessory you can plug in somewhere.
the thing is new bandai without polycaps is cool but polycap bandai is very similar and wouldnt ever hold a leg as thic as that i mean a phisalis that is a shell is very good for posing , for like 3 days . That being said i didn't like posing and hexagear made me get into it cause im a "light customization to heavy customization " but mainly based around paint job . this works really well with hexa .also building your own super small governors have a humbling like (totally japanese side ) to the hobbit ( im joking to the hobby) (im a raave) . anyhow if you wanna see i got is insta danielkerese :D have a nice day !!
plus the small heads are amazing some of the things you "complain" i think is what makes them different thatn a gundam or any other flashy bang modfel (and i love those too ) :D . p.d i dont mean complain in a bad way

I like the hover shoes though from a distance it does just look like it has inflatable rafts strapped to its feet.
It definitely deserves buff in its name!

That's a rad kit, but the feet are just a bit much for me. Looks like an excellent kit bash candidate to me though.

The hand scale gourai can, the actual upper scale gourai can't, its too big
